I called the salon desperate for a hair cut 12 hours before a flight. I wasn't even a customer so my chances were slim to none. They called me back within an hour willing to work me in at a time I could make it. Michael stayed late to give me my haircut. It's was one of the best "accidents" of my life. Michael is the guru of all hair stylist worldwide. He's so knowledgeable in all aspects of hair health, style and cutting technique. Michael consults on how to manage your cut and have healthy hair. My new cut takes 5 minutes a day and looks great all day long. If you're looking for a new stylist Micheal is your man!

I love the highlights Michael does. They add shimmer and shine to my dark hair without looking chunky. I am always getting compliments on the color. He trains stylists all over the country and is a master at cutting. He's the first person I've ever gone to that cuts your hair standing up, which gives it better movement. I love going to get my hair done by Johanna! She always does a great job with my blonde balayage and the couple times we have done vivd colors like purple and magenta. I have been going to Bearde Salon for more than a year now. I followed my stylist Johanna there. The salon is clean, spacious and really relaxing. It’s like a little oasis in the middle of my day! They use wonderful products that are vegan and cruelty free and really work! Everyone there is really welcoming and the service is fantastic! I have been seeing Johanna for many years. She is awesome! She really takes the time to listen and understand what her clients like, and always comes up with really fun and creative color and styles. My mother was a hair stylist, so let me just stress how very picky I am about getting my hair cut! Michael did a terrific job—I love my new style, which was done extremely thoroughly, patiently, and with impressive precision. We talked a bit at first about what I wanted, he was receptive when I asked for something a little different with the finish near the end of the cut, he was up front about the up-charge for my cut since my hair was extra long and thick, and although the salon’s products are fabulous and he developed the line himself, he did not try to sell every product in his salon to me, like so many hairstylists do! Although, I will likely be back to get some of his magical products that left my hair super shiny and lustrous. (Did I make smoky eyes at myself in the mirror and whip my fabulous new cut around a bit when I got home? Yes, yes I did.)
