Been to SC many times, but first time at this bolingbrook location. The stylist was HORRIBLE. She basically gave my son a buzz cut - cut OFF all of his hair. After he (and i) explicitly explained that he wanted to leave it long /just a trim. Unfortunately I stepped out next door while he was having his cut, and by the time I returned 15 min later, the damage was done. She actually cut herself w her own scissors and went to the bathroom for 10min, and when she returned I told her she had cut it way too short. She actually argued w me, saying she did what we asked, and when I pointed out to her that we specifically said, "NOT Short" - she said, "well, it looks better now anyway"... if I wanted style advice, she sure as hell would be the last person I'd ask. The company even emailed me for a review - I responded explaining what happened, but never recd any response from SC (not surprising). Really disappointed, never returning. If u want someone to cut your hair however the hell they want, then go here - otherwise avoid this location like the plague.

I have been using a punch card with this particular sports clip location for close to a year. I finally got to the 6th punch whereby I was to get %50 off my haircut. When handing over my card for redemption this is the response I received, "I'm sorry we no longer take these cards" "The hairstylist who punched and/signed this before no longer work here" "There isn't a code I could even type in our system" No offer was made for a discount, no honoring of prior promotion, basically just a shrug of the shoulders. When asked for the managers contact I was told I was speaking to the assistant manager and I would receive the same message. By losing me as a customer they lost my family of 5 and any other person who asks about the bolingbrook Sports Clip....all because of a one time 7 dollar discount. An prior revenue stream for 6 years, a repeat customer, gone in an instant.

I won't single out the person who cut my hair, but I was really disappointed. They didn't show me the back of my hair. I was also only getting the sides and back of my hair trimmed. The haircut was uneven and I had to fix it myself at home.

The haircut to my son such as a garbage. I couldn't imagine that this person is specialized in any thing. From my experience with this place I'll look for another salon. I don't advice anyone to come to this salon.

Really great place! I went there recently just for a neck trim, and Sarah was great, she recommended some really great products to me that were specific to me, and I ended up getting them. She was very nice, and personable.
