STOP!! This is YOUR salon!!!! I've never had a better stylist than the girl (Shay) I had today! My hair is extremely hard to get the perfect colors and depth....in fact no one has ever been able to do it exactly the way I wanted it....but she was able to get it PERFECT!! I took the advice of others on yelp and asked for "Shay"... I promise you - you will never go anywhere else once Shay does your hair!! The salon is very clean and everyone is wonderful there! Also, ask for Kayla as a shampoo girl - she's GREAT I never even knew this salon existed until I found it on Yelp - so wanted to add to all the great reviews!! Ask for Shay and if you tell them Shannon Thomas referred you, you get $10 off :) Now....go there and come out looking fabulous :)

My mom has been getting her haircut here for the last 2 years...and every single time she has come out looking different, even though she has been showing them the SAME picture every time! Terrible color!! I dont know how this girl graduated. I went in for a simple all over color and a few (and I do mean few) highlights and my hair was raped. My head looks like it was dipped in 1992

I can't say enough good things about this salon! I just took my 10 year old son to Kayla and he came away with the best haircut he has ever had!!! He has tons of cowlicks and she knew exactly how to handle them. He has walked out of many haircuts feeling extremely upset. We had the exact opposite experience at Salon Lorrene! He loves his new haircut!!! Thank you Kayla for making my 10 year old son happy and feeling good about himself!!! We'll definitely be back!

So lucky to have this high end salon and day spa right down the road from home. Their stylists know exactly how to cut my long hair so that it looks great both curly and straight. The environment is clean, comfortable and relaxing. They give the best spa mani/pedi and facials are pretty great too. I will be going here for the rest of my life.

I made an appointment to the hairdresser whom I didn't know and did regret after that. I wanted to go to other woman, but she was busy that day. And I made appt with Amanda. She takes more expensive than others in this salon, but now I'm surprised why. I showed my hair length, said i want to trim it for 3 inches. She didn't let me finish and said "ok, ok let's wash your hair". After that she asked other girl who work there to wash my hair and went to do something else. Then i had to wait till she comes and starts with my hair, it seemed she didn't care about her clients. I showed again which length i want. And she made sure and showed me if that length is ok, I said her "NO, NOT THAT SHORT", I thought she understood. Aaand guess what was the result. She cut my hair twice shorter than i asked. And at the end she said that I wanted like that! I can't understand what for I paid 45$ !

The best place to get a facial in the U.S. I’ve been a regular customer of Annette for years. She’s extremely knowledgeable, professional and understanding esthetician I have EVER tried for the past 10+ years. Annette always greets me with the biggest smile and takes time to listen to my concerns. She ALWAYS goes an extra mile and never fails to deliver the best results. Can’t imagine going anywhere else. Thank you so much for making my face so glowy and healthy every time, but most importantly for being such an incredible human!

Extremely disappointed! I came here early spring this year for purple balayage from the stylist Kim. She couldn’t get the color that I wanted despite showing pictures. She tried to apply the color 4-5 times on my hair which heavily & badly damaged my hair. I kept on asking her, if re-application would damage my hair, she said no. And in my heart I knew it will as I love my long hair. After 5 tries(split between 2 appointments), I gave up and never returned. The last purple color she had on my hair started coming off with every head shower. 3-4 head-baths and ALL color was out. I wonder the quality of color. I spent close to $150 to get my hair ruined and burnt. It’s a lot of money that went down the drain as the color was out. The aftermath was worst- it’s been more than 6-7 months, my hair is not coming back to normal. I cry everyday when I comb my hair. Even weekly coconut oil treatments are not able to get moisture back to my hair that’s burnt. I never went back to this salon but I’m so furious every time I look at my hair. I got my hair trimmed to get rid of the dry burnt patches. Ps: Kim is otherwise nice to talk too, but I’m so surprised she ruined my hair completely. I cry everyday when I look at my hair. Can you imagine how disappointed i am!

I did a lot of research before finding this salon. I was looking for someone who was knowledgeable with color, to fix bad highlights I had been given at other salons. I have been so happy with my color and cuts with my new stylist. She actually really listens and remembers your likes and dislikes. I always leave very happy with my hair! There are many stylists and it is always busy (good sign that they are each very good) Highly recommend giving them a try!

I have been going to Salon Lorrene for the past 4 years. This is hands down the best salon in the Chicago Suburbs. It is clean, well run, organized, and the services are exceptional. I have been going to Amanda since day one. In my 35 years of searching for the perfect stylist I have to say, I've finally hit the jackpot. Amanda is a color genius. She listens well, always understand exactly what I'm looking for or trying to accomplish and will gently guide me in understanding what will and wont work on my hair. She has done Balayage, full color and Ombre' for me overt the years and I can't even begin to tell you how many people have complimented my hair!!! She also is amazing with cut. I have had long hair my entire life so I'm very stingy when it comes to cut it. I've been to so many stylist who see some split ends and can't help but cut and cut, but if you tell Amanda 1/2 an inch, she will cut 1/2 an inch. I also REALLY value her input and knowledge. So if I ask her "what do you think" I know she will give me an honest, candid and knowledgeable response. A year ago I moved out of the area and I continue to make the drive to Salon Lorrene and Amanda not only because of the amazing hair I get from seeing Amanda, but because of the entire experience and feeling I get walking into and leaving Salon Lorrene. A+++ in my book!

I’m kind of picky about my haircuts. So, it’s a small miracle I’ve been going to the same salon for 5 years! Sharon is great, she listens, is personable and does a fantastic job on my difficult hair. The ambiance is upscale, the products are effective and everyone there is flexible, professional and friendly. I’ve seen so many cute haircuts and color walk out of that place! Highly recommend
