Chris is the worst. I wish I would have read the reviews before going as my experience was similar. I was supposed to be with a stylist I went to before (Philip) but they scheduled me with Chris and I didn’t realize this till I was in the chair. He cut it far shorter than I asked - the part I asked him to leave longer he cut. He disregarded what I said I wanted and said what he’d like to see with the cut. He never let me see the back. When I asked for some weight to be taken off the crown he said he already did. It was the worst experience and now I’m letting a cut grow out that I absolutely hate. I would definitely not recommend Chris for a cut.

I paid $180 to get my roots done and hair cut, but my roots are still completely dark. Very disappointed with the outcome considering what I had to pay for something that looks the same as when I came in.

My daughter and I get our hair done by Bre and she is absolutely Fantastic! Bre really listens to what it is you want with your hair and follows through with the cut and the color. I am impressed with the friendly staff from the moment you book your appointment , walking in you feel so welcome til the time you leave. I recommend Bre and this salon to anyone looking for a home salon. I love it here at Michael Graham Salon and will continue to come here in the coming years.

First time here. I was able to get an appointment the same day and when I arrived, I was taken to a chair immediately! Bridget was great! I was unsure of what I wanted and she asked questions and suggested a few options. I loved the outcome. I will definitely be back.

The team at Michael Graham did a wonderful job for my bridal party hair and makeup. I worked with Frankie and she was so patient with me during the trial process. I came in for several trials to help narrow down the style of hair and makeup for my wedding day. Everything turned out absolutely perfect! For a hot August day my hair stayed in place and my makeup stayed fresh looking all day. The bridal party all enjoyed working with the different stylists and loved their. hair. Overall the open concept of the salon was fun for us to all walk around and visit with each other while enjoying coffee and breakfast. Was a great experience!

The girl double booked my appointment and rather than making me a priority (since I had booked it way in advance) she decided to start with the other girl first. So my appointment took an extra 2 hours because of the wait. She didn't even try to accommodate me. However she was very good at coloring my hair. My gf goes here all the time and speaks highly of this place and figured I would give it a try. I'm a little disappointed that I didn't have a great experience too but I'll just have to travel a ways to go to my stylists salon.

Colleen (color) and Ryan (cut) rock!!! Colleen has been doing my color for about 8 years and Ryan had been giving me fabulous haircuts for about 2 years now. Love them!!

Friendly staff, great service, timely appointments, and you can book online. Ryan is great for men's haircuts and even does a straight razor neck shave. Also a big fan of Lisa - she does my wife and mother-in-law, and she's done my hair too.

This is in reguards to Sophia Mango’s review. As a professional in the industry for over 28 years I’ve found it almost impossible to please every person who sits in my chair. But I do try to give the very best possible service and haircut that I possibly can. I would like to address some of the complaints that Sophia mentioned in her review. 1. The stylist Philip that she's referring to hasn't been an employee for at least 2 years, so it's impossible that she had an appointment with him. 2. I did give her my opinion of what I thought would look best for her hair, but as a stylist that's part of my job. 3. If she wanted to see the back of her hair all she had to do was ask. 4. She did ask for weight to be taken from the crown of her head. I responded saying "I already did", because I actually All Ready Did. Taking too much out could cause more of a problem than good. Sophia came in with an extremely unbalanced haircut and I only tried to fix what was already wrong to begin with. To call me the "worst" is quite rude, mean spirited, and undeserving. It’s unfortunate that she didn’t agree with what I did, but I tried my best. There’s always two sides to every story and I just wanted to give mine.

Awesome place with well experienced hair stylists. Amie at Naperville downtown MG is my best as she does wonderful job. I haven't had bangs in life, Amie made me look so good not just after the cut and blow dry but my hair looked very very stylish and trendy as it grew. In my experience not all hair stylist do good job but Amie is exceptional. Now that I have moved from Naperville struggling to find a stylist. Miss you Amie...

Most aggressive and uncomfortable experience I've ever had. I had a simple haircut with Chris and was the worst haircut ever. He refused to do the style I asked for and was my only day to get a haircut so I just agreed to his suggestion. Not only was it shorter than I asked and not the style I originally wanted but the experience was horrific. He would forcefully put his entire palm on the top of my head to turn it. When combing he would go so hard that even his hands would shake from it. He wouldn't talk to me much about how he wanted me to turn my head, he would keep telling me to lean back however. I was leaning so far back it felt like i was gonna fall out of the chair. When cutting the sides his body was pressed completely against mine. And there was a point where he was standing behind and lent over my body to cut the front of my hair. Not only was it extremley uncomfortable and an invasion of space but why would he cut that way?? He didn't ask if I wanted to see the back or change anything he just took my cape off and was gonna walk away. I had to stop him and say you're not done you haven't done anything with my bangs. He quickly did them... way too short. Then immediately took the cape off again and did walk away. It didn't seem like he wanted to be there. I was already unhappy then went to pay and it was $68 for a basic haircut. Again my entire haircut was shorter than I asked... Not the style I asked... I don't have the amount of layers I asked for... I hate it. But most of all I hated the experience more.
