Caroline is THE BEST. Every time I leave the salon I am beyond satisfied with my color. She always does exactly what I want. My hair is always beautiful and vibrant. 4 months will pass and I still will get complimented on my color. Hands down the best hair colorist EVER!

I loved my hair cut experience with Mel! She offered professional advice as to what style best suits my hair, and she also obliged my preferences. I ended up with a perfect cut, not the dreaded "too short, and can't wait til it grows out" look! Mel was meticulous, professional, chatty and fun, and her price point was perfectly reasonable. As always, Mario Tricoci delivers!

Horrible. Obsolutley horrible. I go to give them my business and it was horrible. If i could give them no stars or negative stars I would. First off, I was not informed at all that I would be seeing a "more experienced" Hair Stylist to cut my hair so I would have to pay more. Not at all informed. Also it no where says on the website that this is a possibility. Second, I told MITCHELL I want my hair layered everywhere. She did not ask any questions at all on how I thought it looked throughout my haircut and never showed me a mirror for the back of my head either. Third, I payed on a Visa gift card so when I later called them and said I was not satisfied, they made excuses and said they could not do anything. The Manager I spoke with was very rude as well. She then finally gave me a gift card for product or another haircut which I did not want. I did not want it, I simply wanted my money back but they must be to dumb and ignorant to do so. AIl of the ladies when I walked in there as well were all snoby as well and acted like they were better than everyone else. I do not want to give them my business anymore. I did not want a gift card to go back and give them more business that I will most likey not give anymore. This place was suggested to me by a guy I work with at work and it was horrible. So this place I would not recommend. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.

Needed a haircut and color on my day off. I usually don't go to Mario Tricoci because it's so busy and hectic I can't relax. But today there was hardly anyone there and it was nice good service great people and a good haircut and color

I went in for a cut and color. The color turned out okay although the colorist was a snob and unwilling to do anything other than an all over color. (Lazy) I was then handed over to Daisy. Daisy didn't listen to a word I said. Took off about an inch more than we discussed and cut super short layers into my long hair. All I asked for was a trim...and she gave me a whole new short style... My once long hair isn't even able to fit into a ponytail. She also cut into my hair so much that it looked like there were holes in the length and cut really far away from my face.(Which is unfixable...just have to wait until it grows in. I called to complain and was told to come back in...the managers went out of their way after seeing the butcher job she did. Multiple people in the salon looked at my hair and confirmed what a horrible cut she gave me. They actually had to put a couple extensions in my hair to fill in the holes in my hair due to poor cut. Overall, they went out of the way to make me feel better but it doesn't make up for the time it will take to regrow out my hair and the layers as well as the numerous trims I will have to get to even out the layers...as well as the price to upkeep the extensions to fill in the gaps. WORST hair cut ever. IDon't get your hair cut by Daisy...

Came here multiple times to try and give it the benefit of the doubt, but left every time feeling awful. Multiple different stylists gave me the exact opposite of what I wanted. I'm pretty laid back and usually give my hair stylists creative freedom, but this was terrible. The last time I went, I asked for natural highlights. I ended up walking out with my entire head bleached except for an obvious, un-blended inch of my natural root. When I called in complained, the receptionists were rude and reluctantly rescheduled me. When I came back in, the stylists was unbelivably rude, she complained the whole time and made me feel uncomfortable. Keep in mind, this wasn't a one time occasion. On the three seperate occasions I've been here, I left with this same unsatisfied feeling. I will never come back here, and I really hope they have made changes so no one else will have the same experience as me.

Wish I could add pictures!!! Had long hair and wanted a bob just past my shoulders. Seems easy, right? She butchered my hair! Went to a second stylist and it got much worse. Went to a third and I got an angled bob above the shoulders that looked like a helmet on my head. Had to go to Fran in Bloomingdale location to fix. Perfect cut but in order to correct I was left with a hair style about 4 inches shorter than what I wanted! This was about 2 years ago. Decided to give this location another shot. Once again, easy request- root touch up. Chance dyed my hair the wrong color. Went back another day to see Caroline who was highly recommended. She re-dyed the roots- perfect but then I added a balayage. OMG. It looks like I dipped the bottom 1/3 of my hair in bleach! My hair is dark brown to black and the bottom is now orange. It’s also very dull- not glossy looking how highlights normally look! I know she bleached towards the top of my scalp but you can’t see it. You can only see top 2/3 dark brown hair and bottom 1/3 orange. It’s hideous! I will never step foot in this salon again!!

Yesterday 8/26/16 at 1:00pm I visited the Geneva Mario Tricoci salon. My colorist was Caroline. I have already filed a complaint through the guest survey and online. However, I believe I deserve a partial refund for my service. I went in wanting a diffused shadow root. Instead we decided I would get a root highlight to simply lighten and diffuse my roots into the rest of my solid platinum blonde hair. My roots are dark blonde, almost brown. The top of my head looks great. However, the underside of my hairline where it meets my neck is completely untouched. There is still a brown stripe. So now if I wear my hair up (which is practically every day) there's a line of roots still there. Honestly I paid $130 to walk out with the same hair in my opinion. And I could not inspect my hair and give feed back to the stylist because she left without saying anything! She left while I was being washed. Also, she only toned my roots, so now the top of my head is silvery and the ends of my hair are yellowish. I could have done a better job on my own hair and spent under $20 for it. I contacted the manager and they refuse to refund. They told me I could come in AGAIN to fix it. This is horrible customer service. Do not come here.

Great staff, but don't come here if you're looking to change up your style or get a modern/androgynous haircut though. The stylists here aren't pressured to compete in competitions so most of them are a little out of touch with how to do the latest styles. The lady I had was even scared to cut my hair. Should have been my red flag not to go through with the cut. But she was recommended to me by the front desk staff since she was their "most experienced" stylist there. I ended up getting my hair fixed by a barber in downtown Geneva. It's called Belding Barbering. Matt is a very talented guy and knows what he's doing! He competes regularly to stay in touch with today's styles and even makes his own organic hair products. Highly recommend him. He was even $10 cheaper than the stylist they gave me here. She was $65 (before I tipped her) and Matt was $55. The spa here is great though! Highly recommend their spa services.

Stopped by to see if they had an opening for my daughter to get a trim. Was told they had an opening in two hours. Agreed to this appt. time. Upon taking my daughters name down, the reception ask for my son's name, I corrected her. Again, she asked for my son's name. I corrected her. The third time, she said, no, your son's name, again I told her. She then said, you saw my surprise right! Way to make a young teen feel even more insecure about her looks! This receptionist was rude and unprofessional. After straightening out my daughter is not my son, and taking 5 min. to talk to a stylist. We were told the appointment was no longer available and shown the door. Must not need new customers.
