My six year old daughter Alexis has the curliest, spiral curls. Her hair is always difficult to deal with especially getting tangles out. That was until I brought her to Elle. I want to give a Huge Thank You to Erin. She gave her the perfect cut. Also treated her hair with extra moisturizing product due to her dryness. She felt like a princess in the upscale salon. She is Only 6yrs old and her friends in Kindergarten told her how "pretty & shiny" her hair is! She can't wait to come back! Thanks Elle! Than You Erin

The staff are never clique-y and gossipy as I have seen at many other salons. Very well trained staff with a ton of talent and passion. All of the girls here have outstanding work, and the place is always tidy and clean. The atmosphere is wonderful and positive and I wouldn't dare go to any other salon. They specialize in the balayage ombre trend. Special shout out to Julia, Taylor, and Nicolette all of whom have done my hair in the past.

I have been coming to Elle for the last 5-6 years and Celine is by far my ride or die! My first appointment at Elle was back in 2013/2014 I had an all over color and chose to dye my hair jet black and after a week I decided I wanted to be lighter again and the black hair didn't suit me well so Elle was so wonderful in getting me back in for an appointment to go back as normal as I could and Celine was just starting at Elle at the time and was the Elle girl who helped me come back from my black hair and ever since then I have been going to Celine since and she has made me an icy blonde over the course of 6 years!! Even though i've only gone to Celine the work i've seen the other Elle girls do there is amazing and you can never go wrong with anyone! Highly recommend!!!

I don’t typically write reviews but after reading some of the negative reviews other people have posted, I felt compelled to show some love. Elle is undoubtably the best salon in the suburbs. I began my relationship with the salon 5 or 6 years ago (by far my longest relationship with a salon lol) because I was tired of hiking back and forth from the suburbs to the city every 6-8 weeks to get my hair done. I was immediately impressed, I knew at that time the salon had so much potential. I’ve watched the salon and the stylists grow and evolve over the years and I’m so impressed and proud of Janelle and all of her girls. They are always in touch with new trends and everyone is so consistent with both women and men’s hair. (Nobody can fade my husband’s hair the way these girls do!) The entire staff is super friendly and accommodating and the salon itself is so cute and chic. Anybody that is posting a negative review is either a hater or cheap and should go back to Supercuts where they belong.

Every service I have had at Elle has exceeded my expectations ( I have also had just about every stylist here). They are amazing! Most recently I had a makeup application done for a wedding, and actually cried! I had never looked so pretty in my life. I love this place, the stylists, and only wish it was easier to get an appointment! They are busy for a reason and worth the wait!

If I could rate Elle as a 0 I would. They are friendly if you fit into what they feel deserves the time of day. It was very apparent the stylist I had did not have any interest in what I was saying or in providing great service. I hate my hair right now. I am so disappointed because my daughter loves Renee. Unless you leave a good review, the owners don't even take the time to respond. I left a message for an owner asking for a call back and never heard anything. Back to making the hour commute to get my and my daughter's hair done.

My hair was chemically burned completely off by the staff here. I had long beautiful hair before I started coming here but eventually with one final straw Jamie (run if you hear a stylist with this name) burned all of My hair off because she had no idea what she was doing. Management did nothing and did not take responsibility for the actions of their employee. It’s been months and I’m still trying to fix the damage they caused. I know the reviews look appealing that is was drew me in as well — save yourself the heartache and loss of your hair and do not come here. How they treat customers is appalling and how they destroy hair is even worse. If I could redo my life over I would never had come here. Also I left multiple messages for management and they never called me back. This is how you get treated from at Elle salon.

First time coming here I had a good experience and got the blonde that I wanted but not so much the second time. I asked for all blonde this time and I got half ass brunette color that looks almost like orange highlights, I also wasn’t trying to get a haircut that day but she recommended to cut a little, like I said I didn’t come to get a haircut so I didn’t think she was gonna charge me for it. I have never been so upset at the results of my hair color before, I even told the lady I didn't like it, I asked for blonde and got straight brown & got charged for something I didn’t even ask for. Also, DON'T let them tell you it's because your hair is "too dark" bc like I said I came here before just one time (no sessions) and had good results with blonde before so its definitely not my hair color. One girl even said to me it's because I used boxed hair dye when I never even used boxed hair dye on my hair before, it was just left over hair dye on the ends from the same salon. Please do your research on your hairstylist before you waste your money like I did, they really can care less to fix your problem without charging you hundreds. My hair came out worse than what I had when I walked in. p.s. it was $280

I have been to dozens of salons in the past and was never fully satisfied at any of them. I’ve always been on the hunt for “my salon”. I had an old co-worker a couple years ago tell me she got her hair done at Elle Salon. I had never heard of it. So I decided to give it a shot and I’ve never looked back! Angela is phenomenal. She always gets what I’m saying when I tell her what I want and she is very talented. She is also very sweet and friendly. The entire staff at Elle is very accommodating and it’s just a relaxing and welcoming environment. Needless to say I’ve found “my salon”!

I've opened a small business in the area and was looking for a local place to get my hair cut. My wife, who is extremely picky, found Elle and sent me for a test run before she got her hair done. I arrived a little early and was greeted immediately and asked if I would like something to drink. She said it would be a minute while my stylist finished up with her client. It gave me a second to just scope out the place. It is extremely clean, modern, and everyone is friendly. I was introduced to Tanya, my stylist, and the fun began. She asked a little bit about what I wanted, and I told her that it had to be something that would make me look good for my wife but still be professional because I spend a lot of time talking with patients. She described a bunch of stuff that she thought would look good and keep my hair from getting all bushy as it grows. I have really thick, wavy hair so anything to keep that under control was going to be appreciated. I am beyond happy with the results, my loves it, so needless to say I will be returning to Elle to let Tanya work her magic from here on out! My wife scheduled her appointment for the end of the month. I'll be recommending Tanya to all of my family, friends, and patients.

Erin was amazing! She has a great personality and cut my hair from medium length to a short cut. She did a beautiful job and I keep getting compliments on it. It is stressful to find a new place to get your hair cut and colored. Erin completely understood the look I was going for and made sure to repeat it back to me to show me that she was on the same page as me. I was there back in June for my wedding day. Amanda, who did my make up was amazing. During my trail before, she asked me lots of questions to figure out just what I wanted and perfected it. The actual day of she did an outstanding job making me glow and look amazing! She was so friendly along with all the other staff members. Céline did my hair and wow! Another amazing job and so friendly and easy to talk to. The other ladies that helped with other girls in my wedding party did an outstanding job as well. We were all impressed about how quick and easy it went. So professional and amazing attitudes from everyone! I will definitely be going back there just to get other things done. Hmm,just got my hair done here.michelle was very nice and did my color and cut. But,I was surprise she did a touch up of my color instead of an all over color. Just now going to bed and I'm still seeing some grays that were not cover. For $120, I would have expected not to see any now. She did great with my cut.just wish the color would have been all over so i wouldn't still see grays. 9/21/17-the salon reach out to me to try to fix the color for me. I appreciate them reaching back.

Was expecting much better results. Sent my daughter for a simple fix. When left didn’t even check the trim thinking they did a good job anyways. When went to bday same day friends mentioned to me her haircut wasn’t straight. I looked and indeed it was not staring at all. Didn’t expect that from a over $70 trim.

I have been going here for years and always had a great experience every time. Every time I would call last minute and get someone and they always did a great job. Recently, I had a girl who I had a hard time communicating with about what I wanted. She didn't quite get it and the haircut didn't seem right. I felt bad and thought maybe if I played with it at home I would like it. I didn't. I hated it. I called the next morning and told them. I also said that Erin did this cut amazing before and she was booked but I wanted to have her fix it if she was available. They squeezed me into her schedule that day even though she did not have any openings. Erin was so awesome and the staff was amazing. I felt so grateful that I asked to pay and they insisted on not charging me. I left a big tip instead. I will always go to Elle but, like anyone else, if you find a great stylist, ask for them in particular ......and there are many great stylists here. I know that sometimes they are crazy booked if you want someone in particular but that is because they are awesome. Worth the wait. And if you can't wait and you don't mind a new stylist, I think that all of them are awesome. It's also reassuring to know that they make sure you are happy...even if you have to go back. You cannot ask for anything more. Highly recommended.
