I've had my hair done twice by Angelica (1 cut service, 1 balyage/color service) and both times I left so incredibly happy! Angelica listened to my concerns and delivered 110% what I asked for. She didnt cut too much off my ends, and my red is the exact tone I was looking for. Since having my hair done at Blush, I've also fallen in love with the Unite hair products and have gone back to purchase what she used on me. Couldn't be happier with my experience at Blush!

I go to Blush Salon for my no chip manicures and they're great! I will say they should hire more manicurists as I always have to schedule appointments weeks in advance because they are ALWAYS booked solid. It'd be nice if I could go in without the advance notice, as chips and breaks happen.

I had the worst hair experience ever at this salon. It was obvious my stylist had absolutely no idea what she was doing. I'm not sure if she was a student or not, but if she was I was in no way informed of that. I simply wanted to get my dark roots touched to match the rest of my hair which is a light blonde. My stylist put an absurd amount of bleach all over my scalp and left it there for 30 minutes. 30 minutes. I've gotten my hair done multiple times before and the longest any stylist had ever put bleach in my hair was 15 minutes. There was so much bleach on my hair for such a long time my scalp began to severely itch, and my hair felt extremely hot. When my stylist brought me to the washing station and began washing out the bleach I glanced in the mirror and saw a significant line between my whitish-yellow bleached roots and the blonde I was originally. My stylist did her best to blend out the line with a toner, but now my whole head is a bright, whitish-yellow color with absolutely no dimension, my scalp is red and feels sensitive, and I would not be surprised if my hair started to fall out. The worst part is I'm afraid I don't think there is any way to fix my hair other than to let it grow it out because any more bleach or die would probably make a lot of my hair fall out. I absolutely do not recommend this salon, and the only reason I would be walking back into those doors would be to get my money back, or for an actual professional to fix my hair for free.

Sabrina was very helpful with my hair dye correction. I was a bit worried she might not be able to handle it cause I have thick kinky curly hair but she did great.i recommend y'all see her!

This salon is beautiful, they took me as a walk in and my stylist didn't even bat an eyelash at my extremely curly coarse hair. I'm half black, half filipino and my is very long and thick it can be bossy and unruly! She washed conditioned and detangled my hair before giving me a hair cut. I always get my hair cut straight across just above my belt. However the products she used and the way she blew out my hair after left it the best it has ever looked! My hair was full of volume without an ounce of frizz and it was so glossy with out being greasy. How is that possible lol I can barely make my own hair straight, amazing just amazing! Thank you Caily for giving me a salon close to home I love (No more driving to Schaumburg)! Definitely will be back for my trim and another wash & blow out.

Love this place! Made the switch when Kara left 360 and followed her to Blush and I am so happy I did. Blush is great, bright, clean and has very friendly staff. This salon has so much to offer. And I love that I no longer need to see staff walking around in black! Bright and Cheerful and of course Kara is the best. I am very happy she is cutting hair now as well as doing color. Just got a fabulous haircut by Kara!! Added bonus great shopping and restaurants within walking distance. This salon is fun, relaxing and comfortable.

I took my daughter for her first haircut and we had the BEST experience. Megan was attentive and so friendly and so talented. She not only gave my daughter the most adorable haircut but she was professional and patient and everything great. The salon is gorgeous. Everyone's smiling. They have Unite products which are AMAZING. That alone tells you they know what's up!

Very disappointed with my color. Not only is color not what I asked for, the stylist left about 1.5 inch roots. I also paid for a conditioning treatment, my hair is as dry as it was when I walked into the salon.

I go every year for my birthday to get a spiral perm and it was the first time I have tried blush salon and it did not turn out the way I wanted so I asked if I could come in so they could fix it. I was hoping it would be done right the first time because I work overnight shifts 60 hours a week and unfortunately I missed the follow up appointment because of that, but the voicemail that the owner Cindy left me was extremely unprofessional and appalling. She claimed that because I wasn't happy with my perm I may have been on "some new medication" and that's what made it turn out the way it did. I didn't ask for a refund I just wanted it to be done right and I called within the 48 hour window but she made sure to let me know that I wouldn't be getting a refund because I wasted two appointments for the stylist, one of which was my actual appointment. If I could attach the voicemail I would because I was shocked a business owner would talk to a customer in such a condescending tone. I will never go back to blush salon because she cut it 4 inches shorter than I wanted and made me feel insecure about my hair after spending $165 for my birthday but especially because of how disrespectful the owner Cindy treats her customers.

Came to this salon looking to darken up my blonde hair... after showing the stylist a photo of the color I wanted we picked out a color from her board. The actual color ended up at least 3x as dark as I asked and the lowlights are almost black. I feel like the stylist did whatever she liked instead of listening to me and my photo examples. I specifically said I wanted a neutral tone and it ended up with a reddish tone. I have now been to two more salons spending a total of almost $500 trying to get my color what I originally asked for. Very disappointed and will not come back here. Do not trust them with your color.

I’ve been wanting to go blonder but the woman that did my hair kept saying that it wasn’t realistic and that it would take a few processes. I waited and did a few processes but never reached the color I wanted. So I tried a different salon in Crystal Lake, Strada Hair Salon, where she was able to reach my color in one process which did take long hours but I was able to reach my hair goal. There are salons out there that can reach your desired hair color, just not this salon. I gave it two stars because it’s a very clean salon and it’s beautiful but they won’t help you reach your color, rather do what they want.

This place - in particular, Meg - is the best! I live in California and will only have my hair cut here now when I come to visit family a few times a year. At 64, my thick hair started falling out at an alarming rate. I lost a good 2/3 of it when it finally mostly stopped. Meg cut it so it still looks as if it's fairly thick and brought out the curl. Big plus, it's easy to take care of. I couldn't be happier. The salon itself is big and airy and offers all sorts of feel-wonderful things. Highly recommended!
