I called Undone and they connected me with Karisa who, for the record, is the best stylist in all of Boise and quite possibly the state. I never thought my previous stylist of 8 years could be replaced but having Karisa work magic on my hair has been a wonderful experience as she is incredibly talented, diligent, fun and just an all around wonderful person. I have short hair and am very particular with how I want it to look. I also know that not all stylists have the ability, knowledge or desire to work on short hair. The staff is really nice and so is the atmosphere. I got an excellent hair cut and I did the time before as well. The more often you go the more you get to know the stylists and maybe even find a regular. You should make an appointment about a day ahead of time because they do get very busy. Also set aside a lot of time for the haircut. They are very precise and also a hair wash and styling afterwards are included so even if you have short hair you're going to want to set aside at least an hour for the 'do.

Undone and UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Best to avoid this 'salon' all together. They lack professionalism and service from receptionist to stylist. I've never been so horribly treated by anyone in this profession as I was by Ben (would-be-stylist). Started with not having a return call, and would only text, which lead to more confusion and complete rudeness. Wouldn't even respond with what his next opening was. So thankful I didn't actually waste my time driving to the salon. Oh! And they demand a credit card to set an appointment. From the looks of other complaints here, it is obvious that they care about lining their pockets and not caring for their clients. I'll stick with being treated wonderfully by real human beings. Check out DV8 downtown - they rock and don't waste your time or efforts.

I had a great experience getting my hair done by Kim. She was very professional and did a GREAT job on my cut. I really felt like she took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. I could tell that having happy customers is very important to the ladies at UnDone. I gave four stars because I thought the price of the cut--at $50--was steep. That is just my opinion. If you are accustomed to paying this price or more for a cut, I highly recommend this salon.

I DON'T NORMALLY POST REVIEWS ON SERVICES BUT THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD IN 20 years. BEING NEW TO BOISE IT'S ALWAYS A RISK WITH FINDING A STYLIST THAT HAS PASSION, LOVE FOR WHAT THEY DO TAKING THE TIME NECESSARY WITH EACH CLIENT TO CONSULT AND PROVIDE A GREAT EXPERIENCE. I have never been so disappointed in my color and embarrassed with the result to walk around in public. I looked like calico cat. I have light brown hair wanting to eventually get to a light light blonde knowing it would take multiple sessions. I was wanting an ombre from my brown to blonde. What I got was a disaster. I cannot believe I wasted $100 on my hair there...I had to wait for a few weeks before I could go get it fixed which ended up costing me another $175. I know if the stylist would have taken her time talked with me doing an actual consultation and took her time listening to what I wanted which was an ombre not highlights which were horrific. After she finished while I was processing she just left with not a single word and came back 45 minutes later. Sitting through the processing I was regretting going to that salon. As time has passed and having to go to and have it corrected to even start the process again with what I'm trying to accomplish with having to cut my hair as well from the damage she left. HAVING 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE YOU WOULD THINK THE STYLIST WOULD CARE ENOUGH AFTER SEEING MY HAIR IN THE END SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN DECENT ENOUGH TO RIGHT HER WRONG BY ADMITTING SHE HAD MESSED UP AND NOT PRETENDING SHE DIDN'T SEE WHAT SHE DID TO MY HAIR. I WISH I COULD POST PICTURES CAUSE ONE PICTURE THAT WAS TAKEN BY THE STYLIST THAT FIXED IT TO SHOW ME WHAT WAS DONE ANDWOULD EXPLAIN MY REVIEW AND FURTHER MORE PROVIDE EVIDENCE OF SERVICES. I PERSONALLY WILL NOT EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED. I AM POSITIVE THERE IS STYLISTS THAT ARE GREAT THERE BUT I SURE DIDN'T GET ONE.

I’ve been to this saloon several times, They have the best staff ever, especially Brooke Troyer, she is the best. She listened carefully and she understood that not all rules apply to all types of hair particularly if you have a curly and dry hair like mine. Had a terrible experience at Undone Salon. Color turned out blue and when toner was used to reverse the coloring my hair looked exactly the same as when I walked in. Essentially paid $145 for a hair cut. Never going to Undone Salon again and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Very disappointed. Went in for a trim and it looked like he was not cutting any hair off during the process, and sure enough when I looked down at the end there was no hair on the ground and my hair looks and feels the exact same. Hair wash was with cold water. The "style" that is suppose to come with the haircut was only my hair being blow dried, no straightened or curler was uses. Don't plan on showing yourself in public after getting a haircut here.

I recently went to Undone to get balayage. I showed my stylist a picture of how I wanted it to look before we got started. At the end of it she styled my hair for family pictures I had that same day (which looked awesome) but after pictures were done and my hair was down it looked nothing like what I wanted. The blonde went up way way higher than I wanted and it was more blonde through the ends than I wanted. We ran out of time that day so i went back in a week later to get it fixed. The stylist then put brown on my roots to get some of the higher blonde parts out and I ended up with stripes in my hair. It was horrible. So I went back again in another week and the stripes aren’t as noticeable to others now but they are still there and VERY noticeable to me. I went to this this salon because it was highly rated and I paid a lot of money to get my hair done and it looks worse than when I went to begin with. I was 2 months post partum and didn’t know that would effect getting your hair colored and I understand that now HOWEVER if it had been done right the first time this would have never happened. The staff is nice, the facility is nice, my stylist was very nice which is why I’m not going to publicly name her but I will probably never go back. What a waste of time and money.

This review is for Sammi Sam. I've been going to Sammi Sam for about a year now. I needed to find a hair stylist who knew how to work with my thick, straight Asian hair - and she does such a better job than my old stylist in California. Whenever I get a cut, my hair feels so soft and healthy! How does she do it? I decided to get my hair dyed before my wedding, just enough to be flattering in my wedding photos. I sent her a few pictures of the dark brown balayage I wanted, and she said it would be possible to do in one session. The color turned out amazing. It looked really subtle and just blended in seamlessly with my natural color. It was exactly what I wanted - dark enough so that it wouldn't look too obviously dyed, but drastic enough to give me some dimension in my wedding photos. It looks like the light is just catching all the strands of hair. It's perfect! It's been a couple of months now, and the roots are growing out seamlessly. Sammi's technique is so good that you can't really tell where the dye starts. I love a low-maintenance hairstyle. My husband also goes to see Sammi. He has a ridiculously thick head of hair and it can be hard to style - he used to hate getting haircuts because they just weren't flattering on him. But Sammi knows how to cut his hair into a flattering shape, and showed him how to style it in 5 minutes in the morning. He loves it and has gotten a ton of compliments on his most recent cut. I can't recommend her enough, especially if you have thick, straight Asian hair which requires a little bit of a different technique.

My stylist was great but pricing is completely misleading. I booked online for a color and cut with Daisha and it said $75..when I checked out at the salon the total was $124.00. I called and asked for clarification and was told that she is a leased stylist and she charges more...ok, that's fine ..But why doesn't the site show that? My answer was...it just doesn't. I would go back to this stylist but never this salon. I would pay $124 dollars but when you lie and dont have back up, your business sucks.

Unfortunately I took my daughter for a simple bang trim. Asked for it to be nice and rounded so the sides were longer. The girl clearly didnt know how to cut bangs and I just wish she would have been honest instead of having me pay for a trim that looks ridiculous and that we now need to let grow out. Chelsea took the time to listen to me, was honest about what she could and couldn’t make happen today (had a disaster cut at a different place four weeks ago and my hair was a mess) and what my next steps were. I'm picky with my haircuts and I won't go back if I'm not 100% sold, Roxy did a great job and charged $20 for a men's cut which was a great deal for the quality. It's worth it to come here and get the great cut/service. She's busy so call in advance and get on her schedule. She also has done my wife's hair and she's been very happy with Roxy's haircuts.

My stylist at Undone was Alex Sanchez, I found her stuff on Facebook and really liked her color work. I came in having had my hair done at another salon about a month and a half or so and being so sad with the way it looked. It was dull, flat, and just a mess. Upon meeting Alex she was very warm and inviting, she took the time to go over the color correction process and let me know what she was doing. I felt at ease and let her work her magic! I'm in LOVE with my hair, it's vibrant, fun, and what I wanted to get to. She even took my styling preferences into account when finishing up. I took my 12 yr old niece in on 7-9-19. She was getting her first real haircut ever with Annie! Annie took her time to explain the entire process. She had to straighten her hair first. About 40 minutes later it was time to cut her hair, and Annie had Sophia stand up. A few minutes later as Annie is cutting her hair, Sophie says she dont feel good and passes out on top of Annie! Annie literally had her in her arms for the next few minutes till she responded. Employees from this salon ran in, and contributed to helping us. One in particular took her pulse and brought her a soda, candy, and a protein bar. Yogi was her name. Sophie was fine after the little episode, not sure what happened, but believe it was locked knee. However do to the 1000%%% service at this salon, we will not be going anywhere, but there!!!! Thank you to everyone there that day! Btw Sophie loves her hair!!

Lashala was awesome! My first time in and she was super friendly, helpful and patient. I wasn't used to highlights and a cut taking over 2 hours but it was worth it :) I would definitely go back again (just with 4 hours planned out of my day instead of 2) plus, all the staff was friendly and offered drinks and food. A great salon to go to and ask for Lashala!

I love the Undone Salon. Krisa is amazing she always knows what I’m asking even when I don’t know what I’m asking for. Her service is exceptional, always has a booking options and is very fun to talk with. Definitely 5 stars worth making an appointment if your looking for a great stylist

I love it there!!! My stylist is Karisa and she knows what she is doing. They are great service and make you feel like you matter never rushed while doing hair always taking there time to make sure it is what you want. I have super super thick hair and a lot I of it so to cut it is a mess but I think the price is very fair and I have nothing to say bad about any of them. My hair looked great after and I am glad to say I am a regular!
