A Glatt

This was my first experience and I will never go back. I asked for low lights and highlights for blonde hair. I now have a greenish brown all over color, she also sectioned the crown of my head hair apart and did blonde highlights (as I wanted) but on the front side sections she did three large highlights! That's it! I AKSED FOR NATURAL, not chunks. So, since she highlighted the crown so much and the sides so little it looks like a peek-a-boo effect, with dark on bottom and light on top. It looks cheap and tacky. My stylist was Shelby and I would not recommend her, nor will I be going back to pay $110. for a TERRIBLE job.

It's always a great experience going to Graeber & Company for my hair color. The spa itself is held to very professional and friendly standards, nice atmosphere and I love their tea - lets be honest. Derek Fisher is an incredibly skilled artist who treats his clients with genuine care. I love how easy it is for me to share what look I'm hoping to achieve and ask his professional advice to ensure it's achievable. I am totally enamored with the custom hair color Derek has created for me, it's absolutely stunning and my hair remains in healthy condition. I always get compliments. I recommend Derek to anyone who wants to feel truly cared for as a person, it's very telling how passionate he is about his work! Along with Derek, is the sweetest assistant, Colette Hood. This woman will make you feel special on a whole other level with her kindness and positive attitude. She's kind of like the cherry on top at this place, the perfect touch! I look forward to seeing her behind a chair soon!

A great experience with Amy Bozer. She gave me a great blonde with much depth...and my hair was damaged when I came to her. Much more natural look than what I had. A very professional environment. I have a ton of hair, so the fact that she had an assistant to help her really moved it along. An all-day job was accomplished in just a few hours. And at a quality hard to find outside of the bigger cities. Her experience shows. And she is a lovely person as well. Will be back to keep up this great color.

I’ve been coming to Graeber & Company ever since my very FAVORITE, very TRUSTED and very VALUED hairstylist moved here, several years ago... ManDee is SO amazing that I’ve followed her all over Boise for almost 20 years now, but Graeber is one of the nicest salons she’s been stationed at. The staff is friendly and professional, the reminder texts are helpful and just frequent enough to keep me on track and the yummy tea is a nice bonus! This Aveda salon is hip, well appointed, and yet cozy enough to be comfortable and I will enjoy coming here for as long as ManDee calls it “home” :)

I've been seeing my stylist Heather every 6 weeks since the fall of 2012. The smiling gals at the front desk and the overall welcoming atmosphere brings me back every time as opposed to taking clippers to my own head! I've never waited more than three minutes for my haircut, although I certainly wouldn't mind since they are always offering coffee and tea. As for my hair (what used to be a wild mop of curls), Heather takes my recommendations and requests and proceeds to outdo herself every time. I've never looked into my mirror after a hair-cut and experienced dissatisfaction! For the service, smiles, and style, the price couldn't be more reasonable. Highly recommended to anyone.

I was able to get in the same day, the reception desk was extremely courteous (offering coffee and tea while I waited), and Laura was fantastic. I came in with a disaster of a haircut that I wasn't sure was salvageable, and she saved it! I walked out with an adorable haircut and had my confidence restored. I'd recommend her to anyone!

Kaitlyn was amazing! I just moved to Boise for college and I researched the best places to go for a haircut. I found Graeber and booked a haircut, but wanted to talk to a specialist about dying my hair. Kaitlyn moved around her schedule, and found every way to accommodate me. She dyed my hair and cut it all while staying on top of everything else, and consistently checked up on how I was doing. I am very pleased with everything, and Olivia was great at shampooing and styling my hair. Great conversation and great results, I would highly recommend:)

My boyfriend works as a delivery driver and due to being a 'tipped employee' his wages are $4.25/hr + tips. He relies on tips to compensate for the reduction in his wage. Those who work in Idaho as a server, bartender, delivery driver, or any position considered a 'tipped position' are paid a lower wage and depend on their tips to survive. That being said, he delivered $100 order to this company and received no tip! Ordering a delivery and not tipping the driver is the same as receiving a service and not paying for it. Even though %15 is considered the standard amount for a tip, even a $5 tip would have been appreciated. I wish more people took into consideration the employees reliance on receiving adequate tips for their services.

She always has excellent advice/ideas for style and color options for my blonde hair, and she completely blew me away with my last balayage. I love getting my hair done and expect a relaxing and fun experience, and that’s exactly what I get each and every time. Also, the salon is always clean and has a relaxing vibe. I’ve given a lot of thought about reviewing this company. I spoke to Sydney the General Manager privately and she has just made me feel completely worse and insulted, so I felt like I had to do this... I’m not usually one to complain but I left the salon with my hair completely messed up. The hair cut is so bad. I’ve asked for a refund and they’re refusing it. I only wanted an inch cut from my hair since I’ve been growing my hair out for the past ten years and Shelby cut more than that. She claims she only cut 1/2” but I have pictures to prove that she definitely did not cut 1/2”... The cut was supposed to be rounded out in the back and as you can see it’s shorter on one side than on the other. I had called in because I didn’t want to message over Instagram back and forth and the General manager just kept messaging me back practically forcing me to come back in to make me “feel better”. When I told her I wanted a refund since I paid $200 for messing my hair up... she answered with a $60 dollar refund. The service got worse from there and she stopped replying. My hair is now 4 inches shorter and blue and there’s no fixing that...

I tried to schedule their All-Day-Spa package and she said it wasn't possible to do on either of the days I wanted. She was very rude and that was the worst customer service I have ever had! I am a hairdresser myself, I know what it is like to work in a salon. You should not offer or show an all-day-spa package if it is just a guideline (and if it is...show that is is just a guideline) and you can't even do it unless it works for your employees. Salons are all about customer service. I requested it a month and a half in advance, they never called or contacted me...I had to call them. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!

Recently visited GRAEBER Salon and Spa, had an extremely enjoyable experience with Massage Therapist Emily! From the moment I walked in I was welcomed to a calm serene space offered Tea and began my consultation. I have had many massages and Emily is by far on the top tier of experts! Nope, not anymore. I spent lots of money at That salon and I was tricked into believing my stylist chose another career path. So, I have had to deal with very tricky hair problems (post chemo weirdness) for like the last nine months without the one person that can help me. During my visit, she gave me a very polite, generic answer when I asked her why she was no longer there. I’m not really sure why a customer was punished by being lied to when their stylist left. Thankfuly I did research when I got an instagram and I found her. I’m giving a full two stars because an employee’s honesty when I went in with another friend who got her hair done...They didn’t tell me what her Instagram account name was, but they suggested she might be on there and that I look. Thank you to that employee.

Just got my hair cut with a new style by Sydney and I Love It! She took the time to talk to me and learn about my hair and what I wanted. Everyone there is very professional and courteous. They took the time to give me a tour of their facility and made me feel welcome and offered me a complimentary drink of tea or water. Second time with a new stylist there, first time for color. An ASSISTANT did my color, tucked way back in a makeshift station behind the wash basins, and it was left on too long and it damaged my hair. Another person washed (also lame). Then said stylist barely trimmed the back of my hair (which is all I asked for) but I was charged full price for a haircut and color, $125, and no styling. My hair looked awful, I was embarrassed to go run my errands. Last time I will ever go to Graeber. It used to be a great salon, not anymore. The only reason I have marked one star is you can't post with no stars marked. This went down as my second to worst hair appointment in my lifetime, and I've had many.

Stylist was very kind! However, I specifically noted that I did not want caramel colors in my balayage, she put them in. I just wasn't very satisfied with the colors and the balayage she did, its an ombre. Not what I wanted. I asked for colors unlike the ones I received and my ends are yellowish. Not good. Maybe I wasn't clear enough. As for my bangs, I honestly have given myself better bangs at home. She also forgot to cut in some layers like I asked. Which was pretty much the most important part of why I went to the salon. But my hair looked great, just totally not what I expected or asked for.

My niece, who was my current hairstylist, was just leaving the hairstylist business. So I was in search of a new stylist. Turns out after more conversation that Kaitlyn and my niece were in hairstylist school together. Small world and how fun! I made an appointment with Graeber & Company after my trip for Kaitlyn to color and trim my hair. It was my first visit to Graeber. The front desk gal greeted me and gave me a Menu and a small gift of Aveda shampoo and conditioner. She gave me a tour of the entire salon, which was lovely. Kaitlyn met me shortly after the tour and took me to her station. Kaitlyn is quite vivacious and a joy to talk to. Her coloring and styling experience is great! I walked out of the salon completely happy and satisfied with my new color and style. I have had compliments on my hair since I was at the salon. I definitely recommend Kaitlyn at Graebar!

Yikes! Talk about rude and unprofessional. Disappointed by the experience and will never come back. At least not to Shelby. I've been here before and have had better conversations about what I'm looking to do. I've even had a great experience getting an ombré here previously. This Gal just complains about being double booked but yet I'm not in charge of appointments. She has completely ignored me and her professionalism is out the door. Now my hair pays for it as I sit with unattended product in my hair. She made it clear that my hair was just too dark to even work in step to achieve a lighter color. Either she did not have time for me or was afraid to touch dark hair. Either way she made me feel terrible about me own hair. Would like to update my post. GO TO EUPHORIA SALON. They were so kind and amazing. Not only did they get the results I wanted but counseled me on further steps to get lighter hair. They were patient enough to run a few test strips to get it just right. That eventually lead to finding the right product, amount, and time was needed. My hair went from a black(1) to blonde (7/8). Emily Witsil is the most gifted massage therapist EVER, I have never had such a healing experience before in my life. I suffer from chronic pain and seek massage to help relieve pain for a day or two, but Emily's method of massage has left me in absolutely no pain whatsoever.
