Lindsay Didier trimmed my hair and waxed my brows, and she did such an amazing job! Im really nervous when it comes to haircuts because Im afraid too much will be cut off, but Lindsay only cut the minimum off so Im able to have long health hair!

She is such a great instructor so knowledgeable, patient and kindhearted! Any and every question I had, she had the answer to. And to those she didn’t know, she’d try her best to find an answer to. She is definitely a role model to me. And I continue to use her advice on my daily life.

I had the most relaxing and thoural spa facial from Vanessa Graham last week! She was incredibly knowledgeable about my skin and the products being used. I still have a glow in my skin. I would highly recommend Austin Kade and Vanessa !

I went with a friend to get pedicures... we were told we would get 2 pedicures for $40 including gel nail polish. When we got there we were told they miss booked us and didn't have time to do gel, and that they also miss quoted the price and would have had to charge us $70 for the two pedi's had we actually been able to get what we scheduled. We asked if they would honor the price we were quoted, they said no... but didn't tell us until the end of our service. The pedicure was mediocre at best. Though the student who worked with me tried her best, there were some things out of her control that really put a huge damper on the experience. For example my friend and I didn't get to sit next to each other even though we booked together. Also because they had been busy they didn't have anymore hot water, and my foot soak was cold. The hot towels were too hot when the student went to get them and the poor student got burned, because of the burn the towels were actually cold by the time it got to me. While I realized experience was probably just a series of unfortunate events... the least the school could have done was honor the price they quoted us and offer to complete the pedicure with gel on another day. My main issue was the school's total lack of customer service. I ended up paying $20 for FAR less than had been advertised. I will not be returning to Austin Kade.

I’m a past student at AKA and I absolutely loved that I had the opportunity to cross paths with one of the best instructors here! Latavia and Susan are the absolute best!!! They are both really knowledgeable and so caring towards their students!! They were my absolute two favorite instructors out of the whole school! I literally come back to get services just to see them too. So for any of you future esthetic students I highly recommend going to either one of them for questions! They are so helpful and you learn so much from them! They definitely deserve to be more recognized because what they do for us students there is simply AMAZING!! Thank you again for making my school experience great!!

I graduated Austin Kade about a year and a half ago, with my esthetics license. Latavia was an amazing instructor!! She always made sure that the entire class was understanding the information. She never taught just straight out of the book, but would also include her personal experiences and knowledge from when she was working in the industry. I always really appreciated Latavia’s extensive knowledge of products and ingredients! With guests she was never pushy or overbearing, and always let me take charge and explain everything! I love her so much! She helped me have an amazing time at Austin Kade! ❤️

I absolutely love going to Austin Kade Academy to get my hair, nails and hot stone massage. Each experience I have had with each student that has worked with me has been good. They have their instructor that will stop in frequently to make sure student stays on task, allows them to grow from their experience and the atomosphere is relaxing. I believe the hot stone therapy massage is my favorite especially at the end of my work day. I want to thank these 2 ladies for their service; Geovanna and Meladi for my last visit. I graduated the esthetics program 5 months ago and wanted to give Latavia a recognition. She was my favorite instructor and I learned so much from her. She is so knowledgeable and passionate about what she does. She truly cares for her students and wants everyone to suceed and thats what makes her stand out from the rest. What a day at Austin Kade Academy! I brought my 10 year old daughter and a friend of hers with to have a spa day. The treatments and services we received from the students there were amazing to say the least. My daughter and her friend kept raving about how fun the cosmo ladies were. Alyssa Forsberg and Jhoseline Sanchez (Cosmotology students) kept the girls busy while I received my services on the esthetics floor. Alyssa and Jhoseline gave the girls manicures and pedicures with super fun holiday painted nails and washed and styled their hair so beautifully. I received a spray tan, brow wax and a full set of eyelash extensions from Vanessa Graham. Throughout all the services Vanessa was very knowledgeable and did an amazing job! I love my lashes!!! I would refer all my friends and family to Vanessa for all their skin care needs at Austin Kade. Thank you ladies for making our girls day so fabulous and fun!!

I had Kiaya do my hair last year and I have been back to see her every month for my hair needs. I was very hesitant to try a "school" but I walk out feeling like I went to a thousand dollar Hollywood salon every time. She covers my greys, we have also done highlights, lightening, lowlights, ombre, hair cut, and style. I love getting something different every time and she is amazing at helping me decide what's next to try. I highly recommend going and asking for Kiaya!

We went to the Woodruff Ave. Austin Kade Academy, where we met a truly talented young man who did wonderful styles for us. A true untapped resource for Idaho Falls, he could be a stylist for the stars! There wasn't anything he couldn't fix he was incredible. I believe his name was Bernie? Or Burney? I'm uncertain of the spelling but he was a very stylish handsome young man and he was phenomenal! He was one of the instructors there, I was astounded he wasn't working at a professional salon. Truly a talented hair stylist, totally recommend him!

Excellent service and very friendly staff and students. If you want a fantastic hair cut, color, extensions, whatever, ask to schedule an appointment with one of the instructors named Nelly. She could take anyone's hair and make it into a masterpiece. Seriously worth every penny!

Absolutely terrible. Instructors didn't seem to have a clue at what they were doing or how to color. Went in with almost blond hair. Wanted to go blonder, and left with brown hair and was told, "it'll fade." Hell no....

I feel they cover the curriculum well and can always seem to explain things that are hard to understand. Growing up my family always used box hair dye from Walmart, so the switch to professional has been a struggle to understand.
