This salon is so amazing! I was very nervous about the salon, due to bad past experiences with other salons, but this salon blew all of my fear, doubt and skepticism out of the water! The people are better than friendly. It didn’t feel like I had gone to just a salon, but like I had gone to visit family. They maintained a very professional atmosphere, and it was awesome to see it was a salon that catered to people from all walks of life. The intimate feel of the space, makes you feel loved and cared for. They knew exactly what I wanted and catered to my needs and delivered better than what I had expected. I loved how it was clean, but stylish, chic and spacious. Parking is not a problem and they are wheelchair accessible. I loved, loved, loved, loved, loved loved my experience ! Best salon experience thus far! I will be going back again, and recommending more people!

They stylist their are awesome. Ebony and the rest of the team make you feel very welcomed . It's get to find a salon that pretty much has everything you need. For me being of ethnicity it very hard to find a stylist to do my hair being in Hawaii. Meamoure does all hair types and that's great. There make up artist Aleisha is great. I don't wear make up that often and when she did my make for me it was flawless. Aleisha ask me what I wanted and she did it. Ebony is a great owner and stylist. If you want your hair cut she is great with her sheers. I would highly recommend to go to Meamoure. My lady's that have natural hair they do that too.

Ebony is a great listener and if she is not sure of a style or what you want, she asks you, which I really like. She never assumes. Everyone in the salon is professional and friendly. My experience at salon MeAmoure was nothing but positive. Soon as I walk in there, I could feel the good energy. The owners are great, and my stylist I must say hands down is the best stylist I have had. Marie did my hair, and she is nothing but honest and also great at what she does. Although I did not get to color my hair that day. I'm on the road to doing it right way, I learned so much I didnt know about my hair and products ive been using that damaged in the long run. BUt I wanna say I left the salon feeling HAPPY & BEAUTIFUL thanks to Marie, and loved it I also got compliments walking around that day. Anyway I will be back there making this my regular spot, for sure. And I cant wait to see what my hair will look like, I trust in them.

Jeremy was awesome, so courteous and delightful with my 2yr old son. I was there waiting on a friend who was getting her hair done. Meanwhile one of the female beauticians repeatedly came over due to my son being on their acrylic bench in the waiting area. He was not misbehaving, I was right there at him. But she felt the need to chastise him and remove their pillows from the bench also. She made us feel very unwelcome and I’m GLAD that I did not spend money here for services as I had originally intended. VERY RUDE, I would NOT recommend this place.

Exceptional service from an exception woman and business!!!! The facility and design of Salon Meamoure is so sheek and clean and I like that everything is available in one spot. Ebony is a really sweet and lovely person and genuinely cares about each of her clients. Her entire staff is professional and knowledgeable about different types of hair and hair styles. I went to a lovely lady named Janeth who did a fantastic job on my hair cut. I like having layers in my hair to bring out the waves in my hair more and Janeth knows just how to do it! She blended the layers in and did exactly as I asked in our constitution. I’m definitely going back to her!

The staff is very professional and amazing. I had my second visit on yesterday and and it was phenomenal. I loved being greeted when I walked in with a smile and the staff is very friendly. I love the professionalism from the staff when they talk to you. It’s a very positive and peaceful atmosphere. My hair looked amazing and I had so many compliments both times. This will be my stylist the entire time I am on this island. I love the staff and the atmosphere and I promise you will not be disappointed. The place is beautiful and clean.

This Beautiful Disaster

I have been searching for a good hair salon since I got here to Hawaii and I finally found THE BEST!!! My friend recommended me to this salon and I have to say I loved it!! I normally don’t leave reviews but more people need to know how amazing they are!! Today Sydni did my hair she did shampoo and deep conditioning, she also cut my hair. She was amazing! She did exactly what I ask for didn’t end up chopping my hair like it has happen to me in the past. She is super nice and very professional. I highly recommend this hair salon everyone is very polite and you feel very welcome. I’m definitely going back!!!

It was my first time there, haven’t treated myself to a haircut in over a year, and I’m over 8 months pregnant, so I was very much looking forward to my appointment. Pros: the stylists know what they’re doing, they’re great with my curly hair, very thorough with consulting about the haircut, friendly, good price, and nice environment. Con: I was told when getting booked for my appointment to be there on time, yet I was the one waiting 40 minutes for my appointment to start. I was not pleased in the beginning from all the waiting and being left not knowing what the situation was, I was very close to leaving to go to a different hair salon where they could service me on time. Coming from customer service background, I was suprised that the staff did not at least let me know way ahead of time on what was going on, why they were running behind schedule (I would’ve appreciated at least a heads up and better communication), I’m pregnant so even more so I’m busier now more than ever with a lot to do, and no compensation was offered. I appreciate the apology for them being late at the end of my appointment, but I was disappointed on them making me wait for as long as they did, they have great reviews so I had more high hopes and expected to be serviced in a more timely fashion, and I’ve never experienced going to a hair salon or nail salon that made me wait longer than 15 minutes so I’m just not use to that. Hopefully this is a rare thing that happens, because I would love to come back, but hesitant because of my first impression there.

So great with natural hair. I got a silk press and trim and when my hair reverted my curls weren’t damaged! Only thing that sucks is you have to book appointments so far out! But it’s completely understandable because they are amazing at what they do!

Such a warm, welcoming & friendly environment! The salon is clean, parking is easy to find and if your hungry or want a boba drink... there's a lot of places to grab a bite to eat near the salon. Everyone here in the salon are so talented and work together as a team... the owner and her family are so amazing and while I was there... Ebony is amazing. I have never went to a salon for a wash, deep conditioning, silk press and cut and it was less than 5 hours. Ebony did all that in less than 2 hours and still gave me pointers for healthier hair. It was so great, my friend that was with me that also has natural hair scheduled her an appointment and I scheduled my next one that day. Amazing and reasonable priced. UPDATE: Still amazing customer service. I've been a total of 3x more and scheduled my next 2 visits already. The most revent visit I got my hair dyed, washed, and silk pressed and it looks amazing. My hair is already growing from the first visit. My hair is so much healthier now. Still a 5 star rating from me.

Hey salon is nice, however her prices for services are really overpriced. It isn't an top end salon, no complimentary services or anything offered. Just a salon in Hawaii, that seem to take advantage of the lack of black stylist here on island. Her pricing does not match with the services offered.

I started going to Salon MeAmore about 3 months ago and my hair has never been better. My hair is natural and I usually have a blowout down. Syndi is hair dresser and is always pleasant while doing a fabulous job along with the rest of the staff. My hair is longer than it’s ever been and she is the only stylist who has been able to keep my natural hair straight in this Hawaii humidity. If you listen to her you will get great results. They also take walkins and usually have a makeup artist on hand if you want to get your face ‘beat’. Highly recommend them also for sew ins and hair coloring. The sew ins are some of the best I’ve seen- very natural!
