I worked with Reveal for my elopement in April and from my very first inquiry - Allison answered all my questions, explained the process thoroughly, and made sure I was comfortable with what to expect as I was traveling from the mainland for my big day. Jenny arrived on time and ready to roll. My wedding was in the morning so she was there early. She swiftly did my hair and makeup to perfection. She made me feel and look amazing. The hair and makeup lasted all day long as I enjoyed my ceremony and reception. Both gals were professional and fun. I really appreciate their work. I highly recommend Reveal.

Would absolutely recommend Reveal Hair & Makeup to anyone looking for hair and makeup services for their special occasion! Leading up to the appointment, Allison remained in constant and regular communication with me (even when I failed to do the same) and was extremely understanding of the changes I had to repeatedly make to my appointment time (due to unforeseen complications with ceremony time). Allison was upfront about everything and accommodating to the changes I seemed to keep making with my appointment time. Initially, they were even willing to start around 4:30am so I could have a sunrise ceremony. Although that wasn't needed, the fact that they were willing to do that (with a fee) was pretty amazing to me. Another thing I loved was that they came to me which was so helpful for my pre-wedding jitters. They were super friendly and professional and even chatted with my husband during the appointment. I'm also not used to having my hair and makeup done so don't know much about it. However, they were able to listen to my thoughts and look at some of the pictures I liked to create such a beautiful and nature look. My hair and make-up lasted all day and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Everything was amazing!!

The team from REVEAL Hair and Makeup were absolutely incredible. They came to my Air BNB and were able to get me ready in no time! My wedding week was very different. Exactly one day before I was going to initially going to get married, we changed the date to the day after the original date. The reason was because Hawaii was going to see one of the most rainy days all day. Because my wedding was outdoors, and we knew the next day was going to be perfect, I agreed with my wedding coordinator to change the days. Luckily Allison and her awesome team were so excited and happy to change the day with out batting an eye!! I was so surprised that we were able to pull it off. On wedding day, my hair and makeup looked GORGEOUS!!!!!! I planned my wedding from the mainland so any floral, hair or makeup would be first seen on the actual wedding day! I was so happy with their work! I wish they lived in Ohio because I would use them all over again every time for anything! They are worth recommending to all of your friends! I used airbrush which came out perfect. My make up was a natural neutral colored style and my hair was unreal! Perfect day thanks to this perfect team! Thank you so much REVEAL!!

I scheduled my hair and make up (+ hair for my bridal party) a few months in advance for my wedding. About a week before my wedding I decided it would make sense for me to also get a spray tan so I didn’t look like a ghost in my wedding dress. Reveal was able to fit me in and came to my Airbnb for my spray tan. Jenny did a great job and the mobility service was so convenient. I got the tan done on Tuesday and it looked great for my wedding on Friday. Jenny and her coworker also did my hair and make up early Friday morning. My hair looked great and exactly what I envisioned and my make up was perfect and lasted through the warm morning outdoor wedding. Since I came from out of state it wasn’t possible to do a practice run, but they did a great job of staying in contact and asked for pictures ahead of time. It obviously worked out well as I loved my wedding look. Would highly recommend!

Both girls were extremely professional and fun to work with, it really made getting ready with my bridal party a blast! I don't often wear much makeup so that was something I was a little nervous about, but Amelia did an incredible job and made sure to ask questions/see photos of what I wanted to ensure that I was happy. Allison is also very talented and did my bridesmaids and my hair all beautifully. We were all thrilled with the beautiful braids and natural looking curls. Both ladies were friendly, professional, and took time to ask questions about the look I wanted for the ceremony. Allison did a wonderful job curling my hair, and Remy did an awesome job on my make up. Reveal is a genuinely nice team of wonderful make up artist. Alison and her team helped make our wedding day everything we imagined and more. Alison was very quick to respond to emails, communicate and be sure everything was set up to our needs. Jenny, who was my make up artist completed my hair and make up trial before the wedding and she was so easy and fun to work with! They made every part of the process very easy and comfortable. I really wouldn’t chose any other vendor for a wedding! For my look I wanted a very natural look and a side updo with my hair. I also had 4 bridesmaids, and 2 mothers who’s looks were all completed way before the expected time we needed to be ready on our wedding timeline. The morning of the wedding our 4 bridesmaids and moms came in with pictures of what they wanted to have their hair to look like. Everyone looked so beautiful and we were all very satisfied with the final look. There were a total of 4 makeup artist who came that day, which really made the process easy and we weren’t stressed about not being ready on time. If you’re looking for a great team of women who are easy to work with and help your getting ready process stress free, I highly suggest you give them a call to inquire about your special event. Then if you’re interested, the hair and makeup trail is $150. I planned to have a dinner that night so My hair and make up was nicely done.

Jenny was amazing. She paid attention to details. I’m not one to wear makeup everyday and asked not to look so bold or extravagant and she made my look so Natural and beautiful. She even managed to hide my black eye I got, 12 days before the wedding.. that’s right! I had a shiner from moving furniture and a trip/fall.. luckily the swelling was gone and it looked like nothing even happened. I will use Reveal again for events and special occasions. After having issues with another company, I reached out to Allison two weeks before my wedding date in hope that she had availability. I am so thankful that she had free time for hair and makeup for myself and my matron of honor. She was able to fit in a hair and makeup trial a few days before the wedding. After the trial, my makeup stayed in place even after we went hiking in the hot sun for a couple hours. They use high quality makeup and style your hair perfectly without overloading it with a ton of spray or products. On the day of the wedding, Jenny and Allison were so kind, friendly and helpful. My matron of honor immediately loved her hair and makeup, whereas I was not in love with my makeup. Jenny was patient and listened to my thoughts and corrected the makeup. I am so thankful that Reveal came to the rescue in such a short amount of time.

Reveal hair and makeup helped to make my wedding amazing! Allison and her team travelled to our location to do both the hair and makeup for my bridesmaids, my mom, and myself. We all loved the way our looks turned out it and enjoyed having them be a part of our day. My mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law also wanted their hair and make up done in a different location and Allison was able to accommodate them as well. And then a couple days before the wedding two guests from the wedding also wanted their hair and make up done (in different locations) and AGAIN Allison and her team were able to accommodate them. I was leaving for a trip to the mainland and needed a wash and blowout to minimize the amount of time I would have to spend on vacation doing my hair, had it done on a Tuesday afternoon, left on Wednesday afternoon and my hair stayed awesome until I returned on Monday night. I had so many compliments and felt a little guilty that I never washed it the entire trip, but relieved I didn't have to deal with my hair. Allison and CoCo came out to my air bnb in waianae for my wedding and not only were they so sweet and so fun, but they were also very relatable, timely, and thoughtful in helping me stay relaxed as they gave me advice for how to smile through my tears during the day and ignore the drama (which were two of my greatest concerns). As if that weren't enough, these wonderful ladies did my hair and makeup based on a really vague description of what I wanted and made me look incredible. I am a redhead and I had really specific wedding colors that I felt were going to be hard to work with, but they were excited for the challenge and their consistent compliments and encouragement through our morning together were so great! All they had to do was look at me (my hair/complexion) and my dress and they knew exactly what to do. All morning none of my girls could come and look at me without either crying or gushing, it was so special and I felt so beautiful. And for someone who already knows how to do my own hair and makeup really well (and I normally don't let anyone touch my hair or makeup), it was HUGE for me to feel like they really made me look better than I ever have! So, long story short, these women have a REAL talent. My new husband genuinely couldn't look away from me all day! The ladies of Reveal are sweet and gentle and patient, and they know what they are doing. They made my wedding day so special and made me feel like a really gorgeous bride, and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone for their special day!!! Thank you, ladies!!

Allison, Jenni and Alex were AMAZING!! If you are looking for someone for hair and makeup in honolulu, just stop and book Reveal now. I did a trial run for hair and makeup two days prior to my ceremony in my hotel room, and did a spray tan afterwards. My spray tan was perfect, I did the quick version which you can rinse off 2-4 hours later and it looked amazing. Next, my hair was awesome - it kept up regardless of my ceremony being next to the ocean and very windy - my photographer kept saying I cannot believe your hair looks this good still. Lastly, my makeup was flawless and I never touched up my makeup. Everyone else who had hair or make up done were very pleased. Interactions before I got there via email were very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with - and I made A LOT of changes over the months. Beyond the results, the girls were very kind, and fun to spend time with and my favorite part is they were open to adjustments and would ask would like for me to change anything. I find that part to be very important sometimes.

I just got married last weekend! I had the pleasure of being a client of Allison (hair) and Jenny (makeup) twice. Once for the pre bridal hair and makeup trial (in the convenience of my own home), and the second time at the hotel in Waikiki where I was getting ready. They worked on me simultaneously and I was finished in about an hour. Both times they were a little early, were professional and efficient. At the same time, they were very friendly and easy to talk to. I had some photos of what I would like my hair and makeup to look like and they were easily able to replicate it. Besides it being beautiful right after the fact, the hair and makeup stayed beautiful the whole night. As I looked in the mirror after the wedding I thought it was a shame that I was going to jump in the shower and wash away the goodness. Had a great experience with Reveal. I hired them for my wedding day hair and makeup and Jenny arrived at my hotel room early and we even finished early which was great. I was going for natural makeup, which turned out beautiful, and my hair with loose wave/curls which also lasted the whole afternoon and evening. Jenny did a great job, she worked with me on little details that I wanted her to try or fix or change as we went along with my hair and makeup. But it was only I getting my hair and makeup done, no one else in my wedding so there was no rush for her to finish up. She was very focused and zoned in the whole time, she definitely knew what she was doing so I had no worries about it. Just to clarify, I only wear makeup for special occasions and that usually consists of just mascara. Sometimes I will add a hint of eyeshadow, eyeliner, maybe blush, but nothing ever all over my face or neck, I like my face to breath. So I was nervous for what all Reveal would use and how much, but Jenny went ahead and did a very light layer first for me to see and know how it felt and it looked great! Totally recommend for people that don't usually use makeup and don't want to worry about it for their wedding day.

My experience working with Reveal for my wedding day was absolutely wonderful. Allison was very responsive via email during the entire planning process. I am by no means a hair or makeup expert, but Allison and Jenny helped me figure out what I wanted for the big day at my trial and I have never felt more beautiful. The day of the wedding, I had 4 bridesmaids, my mother, and my mother-in-law getting their hair and makeup done, in addition to myself. Allison, Jenny, and Brittany were each fantastic and had all of us ready ahead of schedule, which made the process much less stressful. They have amazing personalities and kept the morning fun throughout. Shortly before the wedding date, I decided to add on spray tanning services as well. I was super nervous about getting a spray tan 2 days before my wedding without having tried it out first, but I have NO regrets. It was perfect and I got so many compliments throughout the evening. I highly recommend using Reveal for any hair, make-up, or tanning needs. It was an amazing experience and I’m so glad they were part of our big day.

Amelia was my makeup artist for a military ball that I attended and she was absolutely amazing! She was very friendly and was understanding of how I wanted my makeup done. Although I requested for a full makeup session, Amelia gave me more of a natural look (from which I requested at the beginning of the session) and the end results were flawless! Best experience and even better people! I am so glad I contacted Reveal Hair and Makeup in Honolulu. They blow-dried and styled my hair with the exact curls I was looking for. This company was amazing to work with. Alison was super responsive and flexible when it came to setting up my hair and make up appointment for my wedding day. She replied to emails promptly and professionally. The prices were quite reasonable especially considering that they come to you. It was so nice to have a stylist come to the hotel and not to have to worry about getting out to a salon the morning of the wedding. On the day of the wedding the stylist, Jenny, was phenomenal. Not only did she make me look and feel beautiful, but she was warm, friendly, and just a joy to be around. She was extremely helpful and even offered advice to my bridesmaids who were doing their own hair and make up. She offered advice for how to keep everything looking good the rest of the day. I was nervous since I have never had my make up done professionally before, but it look wonderful. I would highly recommend REVEAL Hair & Make up to anyone. :)

REVEAL did my wedding party's hair and every single person turned out beautiful! Our wedding was windy but the curls and style still held up. They also did my makeup - I never wear makeup and was worried I wouldn't look like myself. My makeup was wonderful! I still looked like myself just a little more refined. I couldn't have been happier. She also did a tattoo coverup that turned out perfect. No one could tell I had a coverup done. I even jumped in the pool after the wedding and it held up in the water! The girls were so nice and personable. You can't go wrong with REVEAL.

We planned our wedding remotely and did not have time to meet for rehearsal, but Allison and her team did absolutely fantastic job of nailing the perfect make up and the hair style, if anything, much better than the pinterest pics I referred. Before the wedding day, I was worried as generally, make up for brides tend to be very heavy and cakey, but mine was perfectly balanced, not too heavy for my fiance who's not a big fan of heavy make up, but enough to cover whatever i wanted to hide for all-evening photo shoots, and perfectly special for our special day :D My hair was done beautifully as well, I wanted to have losely done up braided style, despite my not too long hair, but it was not a problem for her at all. I really loved how she did my hair, I literally "WOWED" when she finished my hair :) On our wedding day, it was blessed with quite a bit of rain, but my hair stayed perfect all night without looking hardened with hair spray! My nieces and my sister had their hair up too, and they looked adorable and beautiful, they nailed what would look the most pretty and also what we would be comfortable with, they were really great to chat with while getting ready too, and made the getting ready part very relaxed and fun :)

My bridesmaid, mother and I had our hair and make-up done by Reveal. Allison and her team are kind, approachable and genuinely listen in regards to your hair and make-up vision. As someone who doesn't wear a lot of make-up, I didn't plan on wearing the fake eyelashes but when I saw them, I changed my mind because they looked so natural! The make-up also stayed on all day and night through tears, wind and rain. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Reveal to anyone.
