if I could give them negative Stars I would...So I'm a customer sitting there waiting for a haircut and a shave something I'm about to pay $60 for. there are two bathroom signs that clearly say men's and women I get up to go to the restroom and the barber says with a nasty attitude there is no public restroom. I said I'm a customer he repeats there is no public restroom. Worst customer service ever nastiest attitude ever. And on top of that the parking is ridiculously expensive I paid 9 bucks to not even get a haircut. I will never go there again.

4 months and counting - if I cant make it for my weekly cut then I will wait another week. Parking isn't the greatest but a small inconvenience for getting a great hair cut. The barbers know what they are doing and the shop has a very clean and maintained appearance. It can fill up pretty quick in the late morning and evening so plan ahead if you can. Like with any barber shop just be clear with your direction on the style that you want. Highly recommended

Barbers are great . Guy in the front is rude . Worst place to have to sit and wait for a cut . When I asked to book a appointment I was told I couldn’t . Don’t answer your phone and keep the music down in your head phones . You will be told what to do

Gwenyth Hayes

The guy in the front is very rude and insulted me. There is only on stylist for women’s hair and she’s gone for some indeterminate period of time. Very unprofessional...don’t bother.

I work out to sea and was so excited to get my hair cut. But I got there no real warm welcome. And although while waiting for three hours I was told I can not be on my phone that have been on for the whole time which means i wasnt disturbing anyone after I stood up to charge it. It just took my business else where. It soo sad I came all this way for nothing. It's not like they apologized either.

Good men, good cuts, great price. I'm a fully bearded man, so it was important to get it trimmed by someone who knows how. Thanks King! P.S. Get there at 9 w/o appt. Fills up fast

Came all the from The Virgin Islands, wasn't able to get a cut before I left. This place is irie. Great service, barber hooked me up.

Jaren Tresise

Great barbers, great atmosphere, very happy with my cut, probably better to schedule appointments ahead of time cuz The shop is very popular and busy I waited almost 2 hours.

I've been coming to the wig shop for three years now and I'm always very pls'd to have gone there after I leave. The wait is average I would say and the quality is way above any shop I've been to ever. I love how it's not just another stereotypical "BLACK BARBER SHOP". It wasn't a surprise to me to see celebrities in photos with the barbers. It wasn't a surprise to notice the level of professionalism instilled into the barbers working in all black slacks above or on their waist and polo style shirts. No the huge surprise and adjustments I had to make was NO CURSING ALLOWED, JAZZ MUSIC, POSITIVE CONVO WITH EVERYONE WHO JOINS IN THE CONVERSATION AND VIBES OF NOT WORRYING BOUT ANYTHING NEGATIVE HAPPENING LIKE GETTING RAIDED OR SHOT UP FROM RUCKUS THEY'VE CREATED. The thing that shocked me the most was definitely the different types of ppl that the guys at the wig shop have made comfortable enough not to think about the racial barriers at all because the guys at the wing shop Mr.King, Tony, Kattu and idk his name but long dreadlock dude are all very chill and open to anyone and make u feel comfortable around them while you are there even if it's only while you are there. So I rate THE WIG SHOP 5 stars because I can't give a 10 star rating. Hope everyone continues to enjoy the guys and I'm able to continue getting my haircut there for plenty years to come.

I get my sew in done here by Ms. Slim and I love coming to her! I have a few tracks added for length and fullness. It's more of a barber shop but I love that the women's side is separate from the men for privacy. Anywhere else in Hawaii that I went was trying to charge me $200 & up yikes...for a few tracks???? I would highly recommend this place.

King and crew hold it down. Clean cuts. Good prices. No swearing allowed

The guy in the front desk is rude and appears very creepy. You aren't allowed to talk on the phone while in the shop. The rush while cutting your hair there. The edges aren't sharp and the wait is way too long. While there you have to pay for parking while waiting forever for a cut. The guy on the front desk is anti- social and very combative.

Law Scott

My go to place for a feel good cut!

Ellyseo Metcalf

Kanye got his hair cut here. Enough said

Gabriel McDonald

The best barber shop around, period.

Joel Chapman

Respectable barber shop. Barbers are clean, attentive, and active listeners with a keen sense of attention to detail. Blown away by the service and more establishments should follow suit.

timothy Spencer

Brandon Richardson

Great environment and precision cut. Definitely recommend for all hair styles.

Robert Dennison

Great atmosphere, great barbers.... Make an appointment

Robay Dobbins

This is the place your searching for!! I cant say enough about the service, good music, good vibes along with good conversations!! Oh and did i mention the great haircut :) Go see my man King there and you'll be treated like one! !

Everett Williams

Pretty nice shop. Family friendly in that they aren't showing a bunch of raunchy movies or listening to raunchy music. Would recommend calling for an appointment.

Suzielenora Elley

Alven Yousif

Nice place and the barber name's Rafa he did good service

Connor thatguy

Great people, quick and professional, looks great!

Been here twice and both times the older guy at the front desk was very rude. Being military and in uniform, I kept it professional and didn’t stoop down to his level. This place does not value their customers. I will not be going back.

James Butler

Well, I have been coming to this shop for years and never thought to post a review (because it's just not my thing) but after yesterday I just had to share the experience that had me feelin' some type of way (a good way) about my spot!!!! Mr. King has been cutting my hair just the way I like for the last 8 years, and though at times I dislike having to wait when I have an appointment (hint hint) I wouldn't take my business anywhere else. The combination of the atmosphere, the customer service, the professionalism, the many celebrities on their wall tell a story that I love hearing about, it just pulls it all together to make it worthwhile. WELL yesterday was the icing on the cake! Now, I'm sitting there waiting to get cut when this gentleman comes in and starts talking to Mr. King while he is cutting a client, (this guy looks familiar but I can't quite put my finger on it yet..) His conversation is loud enough for all of us waiting to hear and he makes it known that he is a stylist (or hairdresser excuse my ignorance) when he asks Mr. King to help him "brush up his cutting skills" (sharpen his knife) and asking him for help....THEN IT HIT ME!!! This is the guy I read an article about, he had a salon that was opening a Juice or tea or something bar in his salon...so I looked them up..."Salon Blanc". Now it really makes you feel good when someone who actually OWNS two salons is asking the guy who cuts your hair to "help him" in his technique. That says something about Flava & Da Wig Shop I hope you know there are us clients out here that appreciate your authenticity!!! Keep up the good work!!!!

This place is a fantastic barber shop and very professionally ran. I have never received a bad haircut from this establishment. So by no means is this is review of the barbers. However, the owner of this establishment spoke with me and about getting my daughters hair done with one of the beauticians. He told me that I had to bring my wife. I explained to him that her current work schedule doesn't allow her to come in during their hours of operations. He said he understood and to get a list of the products that have been used in her hair for a consultation with one of the beauticians. Easy enough I get the information and come in the next day for the appointment. He then begins to tell me the mother needs to be present for the appointment. We had a long conversation that went nowhere and he then began to offer to pay for my parking and roll his eyes in an exteremely disrespectful manner. So understand while this place is in fact an excellent barber shop, they do not attempt to meet customer needs given the circumstances. I would recommend the two barbers any day. However, based on the treatment my daughter and I received this evening and how my time as a customer was treated. I will be looking for a new establishment for my hair services.

If your white you better have an appointment or they will pass you over for one of their boyz. I waited almost 2 hours this time. Last time was 2 and a half. I will never, ever go back there

koi fish

they are just terrible at booking appointments ....you can book a counciltation but it will take weeks to get called back for your appointment just ridiculous

Joseph Roy

The worst place to wait for a cut, you can't talk on the phone. But the babers can! . Basically if u don't make a appointment "extra $15 that's not worth" there is no need to go here. Because they will make u wait hours before taking walk ins . The cuts take forever and a day once u do get into the chair. Then they gotta sweep after every cut. Like get the ppl out then sweep up. The guy at the front dest looks creepy. People dont let the lil Celebrities pictures fool yall that they got on the wall..

Krystal Nixon

Very arrogant establishment. Very rude and disrespectful. I just moved here 4 weeks ago and was referred to one of the barbers. I was on the phone with my referrel and a couple of friends and the so called share partners answered the phone with a rude and sarcastic tone. Cut me off and then put me on hold for over 5 minutes. I had my friend call back and he wasn't treated that way. I called back again and a man answered being just as disrespectful and arrogant as she was. Justified her behavior after I had witnesses to the conversation and told me arrogantly that they have many people that come to the shop. That was said as if people don't matter, their money does.Like I'm irrelevant since I'm a new customer. Told me the phones are recorded. Good then I'm owed an apology for your lack of tact. There are a lot more human beings who cut hair in Hawaii who are actually very respectful. This is not one of them.

T Avog

Rafa & the older gentleman are very professional & good barbers. Best to book an appointment, otherwise walk-ins take a while before getting a cut.

Armon Owens

There arent a lot of places to get good haircuts in Hawaii. This is on the top of the short list. They are the best on island for a cut.

Thea Walker

So I've been getting my hair done here for about 3 years now, and finally found time to sit down and review all my new Honolulu faves (haha) Let me start by saying YES! This is a legitimately black-owned business!!! And I am amazed at the diversity I see coming through here! It's refreshing! I appreciate my sessions everytime. It's like a mini detox/pamper appointment. Hair, Nails, Eyebrows, Weave ✅ and I'm good to go!! Not only is the work exactly what I like (I admit I'm pretty picky, but when you're spending your hard earned money, who shouldn't be?!) but I also extremely appreciate the privacy I get during all of that. I really don't like the stereotypical gossiping, gum poppin, men invading your privacy type of environment that you'd usually find when venturing to get your braids done

Corinthian Scott

PLESE DONT GO. I’ve seen hairstyles they’ve done on 2 of my friends and it was horrible. Also, the customer service is truly horrible and they have no business being an establishment with how much disrespect they have
