If I could give zero star I would, am living in downtown area, and trying to find salon that I can visit regularly. At first the lady answered the phone was always polite and sweet, that given good impression. I had 2 services done at this place, one is Shellac manicures and 2 days later, more than 2 nails broke, first time happened in my life such bad quality; another is haircut, the hairdresser probably tried to impress his skills, during the entire process I did not feel comfortable at all, as he was pulling my hair very hard. Any way, at the end check out, I was told the bill is $130 dollars, just for manicure and 10 minutes haircut and quick blow dry. As my hair is very straight already. Since I went the gym in the morning, washed hair at home before head there. They don’t need to wash it, so there’s no shampoo wash cost. The lady still said the same price and treat me like tourist. Anyway, still I have given extra $10 dollars tips, didn’t except my nails will broke after 2 days. It’s a joke this salon.

I rarely find good salons. It took me two tries. The first one was horrible. I had no idea why they hire some stylists which are rude and give horrible styles without consulting their customers. I then asked a friend about this salon only to be told to try Betto. FYI, I have no idea who my initial first stylist was but Betto is AMAZING! Always ask for him because he's frank and very good at what he does. I am very fussy and I thought it was very refreshing to find an amazing stylist in Miami.

I was looking for a salon for a quick repair for my hair and stumbled upon this tiny salon. I was very excited to go, I popped in to see if they had anything available. As soon as I walked in everyone stared at me, not even a hello or welcome. I walked to the cashier to see if they had anything available and they did, "Come back in 2 hours". I was so excited I went 20 minutes early to see if maybe they can wash my hair in the meanwhile as my stylist was ready for me, but I was wrong. i waited those 20 minutes to sit down in the chair and not even get a wash. The stylist barbarically ran his fingers through my coarse un-brushed hair several times. He then cut the back of my hair as if it was a straight line and finished in (exactly) 9 minutes. I then asked him to please cut my bangs, since he completely ignored the front of my hair. He cut them and said he was done. NO WASH, NO SPRAY(MIST), JUST CUT AND GO. I probably could have gotten better treatment at a male barber shop! Then when I go to pay, I always, regardless of situation, leave 15% tip. So I noticed he did not even bother to give me his business card UNTIL he noticed I gave 18% tip! He then handed me his business card when he saw the tip, and said "Please tell all your friends about this place". Well TRUST ME, I AM. I was treated unfair, and was practically rushed out. It was the absolute worst experience I have ever had visiting a salon. I encourage anyone that is considering this disgraceful salon to THINK TWICE! I will NEVER visit this salon EVER AGAIN and believe that anyone I know, friends, family, coworkers, business partners and financial advisors will STAY AWAY from this place! Studio-D is a horror spot for any lady looking to be treated fairly. Aside from the negative review, I even overheard my "stylists" (as they like to call themselves) speaking spanish, racially degrading another American woman in the shop. I WILL NEVER RETURN, even if offered free services.

terrible experience at studio-d sonya did my nails and her work was just unprofessional and sloppy. she put on my acrylic tips crooked and the line detail i asked her to paint on my nails bled into the rest of the design and was also crooked. my nails look like a mess. when i told the front desk i was not satisfied with the work she had 4 different employees look at my nails and insisted they looked great. then they started speaking in portuguese saying that my nails were fine and i was lying. i paid 70 dollars with the impression i was going to receive high end results. ive never had such a bizarre and unprofessional experience at a salon.
