I've been going here for over 2 years. This place is great. First the stylists are professional and very good. I've had haircuts, color, highlights with different people in the salon and found my favorites of course. With that said, every stylist I've had goes the extra mile to make sure I'm happy. The atmosphere is welcoming, genuinely friendly. The interior of the studio itself is a delight with different artwork. But at the end of the day, the compliments go to Eric and Carolina, owners of the salon. Their positive, creative, happy energy fills up the place, it's contagious among their staff.

One of the best haircuts I have ever received ! It was a tall order because I was ambivalent about what look I wanted to go for , Im picky and have thinning spots that needed covering . Joe went above and beyond my expectations ! . I absolutely love this salon. I get my hair cut by Eric Perna and colored by Carolina Perna. My hair comes out looking amazing and exactly as I want it every time. They have a high attention to detail and genuinely enjoy what they do. The staff is very friendly as well. It's a nice environment. It's definitely a pricier salon, but I don't mind paying a little extra because the quality is on point. I'm extremely picky when it comes to hair stylists so if you're someone that's very particular about your hair, this is a great choice.

Only good things to say about RESTA Salon. I am not rich and I saved over $350 to put towards a few hair treatments from Resta which is because the quality of service you get here is worth even more than any dollar amount spent on the services. In addition to that, you feel instantly comfortable in this boho chic, musician and artist friendly, salon where everyone is treated like family. It's like being in an artistic, music infused museum while having your hair designed by artists...I will never go anywhere else! This is by far the best salon I have ever been to, with the most talented artists. Eric and Carolina are amazing; seriously, thank you for creating the most hip salon in Florida! I'd travel near and far for a cut from here!

Let me start by saying I went and had a consult for color at 3 different places over the past few days, because I was really sick of overpaying for color that I just wasn't happy with. I couldn't find a hair colorist around who would really listen to me and correctly give me the color choices, which included going from brown to light blonde, that I asked for. So I went online and looked up 3 highly rated salons and went in to each of them. Ultimately, I decided to go with Carolina and am so glad that I did! She nailed it...I brought pics and she did EXACTLY what I wanted! She just gets it! It seriously looks better then I could've imagined. I LOVE it, and I was a nervous wreck before...let's face it, your hair can make or break your look. I've been getting my hair dyed over 20 years and I've never had a better salon experience, and they are totally reasonably priced! Not to mention that she's super easy to talk to...she's impossible not to like, and so is the salon. She's fun, intelligent, easy to talk to, and knows her way around any head of hair. She can take your dream hair and make it a reality. I've had my hair colored by Carolina, as well, and I can't speak highly enough of her, either. The salon is cool, clean, and comfortable, and the environment is made all the better by the knowledgeable and fun stylists who work there.

UPDATE: It has taken 7 months and $850 to repair the damage caused by Carolina when I went there for some highlights. 7 months of orange, brassy hair... MORTIFIED...As I later found out they bleached my scalp with T11 and this is why no one can get rid of all this orange...cost so far is over $500 and going to take months before I can get rid of this mess...I went in for highlights, ash blonde highlights, for my natural undertones. I was fine with having the Balayage and keeping my roots the color they were. Somehow, all this translated into ORANGE hair...I came out of there with orange hair. Gone was all my natural color. To make a long story short, Carolina felt awful too and eventually I acquiesced and went back in to have it fixed. The foil was done and it came out nice, not even close to what I originally wanted, but a very nice shade. Sadly, it lasted two days, two washes and my hair is back to orange...How can this happen 2 times at a highly rated salon????

I never post reviews, but this must be said. Where do I begin? I cannot convey enough how much I LOVE this place and these people! From the minute you walk in, there is a bohemian feel and the positive energy just surrounds you. That's all well and fine, filling you with comfort and happiness, but can they do hair? Holy cow, yes they can! I have never been happier with how I look! This is the first time I have gone into a place, showed them pictures of what I wanted and actually walked out WITH WHAT I WANTED! I look like a magazine ad! And the way it looks is just the tip of the iceberg; the way it FEELS! Carolina is simply one of the most amazing colorists you will ever encounter. She takes her time with you so you feel comfortable. She describes the process. And she gets you the color you ask for, even if, like me, you bring in some poorly photographed celebrity and say "I want this!" Naylan gave me a beautiful haircut and styled my hair, again, just like a picture I showed her that I think she looked at for 5 seconds. She just "got" it. Now I know what it means to really "get good hair" and I will never go anywhere else. So long as they will have me, I am theirs. Take my advice. Once you go, you will ask yourself the same thing I did afterward: "Why did it take me so long to find them?"

Eric is a magician! I have very flat thin Asian hair, a bob might only takes one hour to cut , but my hair took over two hours, the whole process Eric was extremely patient and passionate with details. I never thought my hair could look so full and with such a cool fun style with short hair, I was so shocked after the cut and really admire Eric's superior skill and artistic manner. He doesn't talk much when he is working as he is so focused and meditative, I can tell he loves his job and really view giving you the perfect hair cut as a form of art. I say he is an magician because after his artistic cut , now my hair just falls into the perfect style all by itself no matter how I shake my head, and I don't need to do any styling at home. Wow, what else can you ask for with a short hair cut! I think Eric is that kind of professional who will always go for perfection and go beyond your expectations.

Where else can you get your hair done being surrounded by art, fantastic music and fun people while sipping some excellent coffee? The bohemian atmosphere only adds to the experience. Connected to the salon is The Beat Cup, their sister cafe. Their coffee and food are excellent. Don't expect the typical cookie-cutter offerings. Everything there is original and freshly made. Their dishes vary from vegetarian delights to unusual deserts. Having my hair done and getting a bite to eat next door is the ultimate pampering experience.

Where do I even start!? My fiance' and I moved to Delray just a short while ago and we have been absolutely loving it. Today, I love Delray even more. I did some research on hair salons in the area and I came across Salon Resta. The description of it being a laid back atmosphere, and reading all the happy customers reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I requested a 9:00 appointment this morning at around 7:45AM (SUPER late and obnoxious of me) and Carolina called shortly after. Despite my late notice and the salon already having appointments, she somehow moved things to get me in with Laura. I didn't realize at the time how amazing of an experience it would all be! From the beginning of the phone call with her and the moment I stepped in the salon, Carolina greeted me and was so unbelievably sweet! (I worked in customer service for years and people who did things like I did with the late booking, were not that loved...understandbly so). Carolina kept resassuring me that they were happy to get me in and soon, I met with Laura and I now have the best highlights and haircut I've ever had. I can't stop looking at the color and cut! Six months ago, I had my first haircut from Eric. I really liked what he had done and found him to be a very welcoming, intelligent and warm guy. Two weeks ago, I returned to him after having grown out my hair much longer than my old profile pic. My hair was like my profile photo but worse, I was long overdue. I was learning toward keeping the length and so Eric cut my hair curl by curl. My hair looked great when he was done but, as people with wavy/curly hair will know, it takes a few days to see how it really turned out. After a week, I gave his studio a call and requested a revisit because I found my hair to be too long, sagging and a little unbalanced in the back. Without any hesitation, they happily booked me for the very next day. I am very appreciative of Eric's friendly and professional demeanor as well as the extra time and effort he dedicated last Friday to make sure I was happy with my cut. I loved the quaint, yet chic atmosphere and all the unique art on the walls. Carolina did my color gloss and got my hair to the exact tone I wanted. He cut my hair after the toner, fixed some blunt ends around the front of my hair perfectly, and all around gave me the exact cut I wanted. I've been going to Resta for years! Luiza is absolutely amazing! She listens to you during the consult and offers expert suggestions to make sure you look your very best. I have really thick hair and a lot of stylists end up running short on time and only half drying my hair and asking if that's ok. I begrudgingly say yes because I don't want to put them behind. After trying about 30 different salons in South Florida, I can honestly say Resta is the besta. I've been going here for years. Carolina is the best colorist I've ever had, she really listens to your preferences and uses the best techniques to get the dimensions you want. Eric's haircuts are addicting, (if you go here.. you get it). The stylists here are artists (literally, there's Eric's art everywhere) and they take you through the process before even touching your hair. If you're looking to put your pinky up in a pretentious snobby atmosphere, this place isn't for you. This place is my down to earth haven to get pampered and relax in a creative/eclectic atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to feel beautiful while listening to some chill tunes.

Excellent experience at Salon Resta! I'm returning for my second go-around and will likely be a loyal customer going forward! Caroline saved my bad color job and transformed my look! The stylist heard me on my need for a "low maintenance" hair cut and she patiently worked with me to show me how style my hair "on the go". I really appreciated the 1:1 attention. The atmosphere is very cool- artsy and laid back. My kind of people! Salon Resta is a great place to get your hair done, but also a great place to chill out.

Luiza knows exactly how to color and cut my fine, blonde hair so it doesn't get damaged. It may sound like a simple task but fine hair is very easily damaged -especially with the blonde coloring! She makes you feel like your visiting an old friend with the bonus of leaving with beautiful hair!

She is creative, highly skilled in her craft and wants to bring your hair vision to life. She also has an upbeat, genuinely down to earth personality. I took a gamble on this place because it is convenient to where I live, but I knew nothing about it other than what I saw on Facebook. I was so frustrated with a high-priced chain salon who could not get my color right, I thought it was worth a shot. I started out with Louisa, who was quite candid and said I would be better suited with the owner, Carolina, doing my particular (and peculiar) color. I appreciated her honesty. Carolina has gotten my super chunky highlights -- in all the right colors in all the right places to perfection -- like I always wanted. As for my cut: I thought I was happy with my previous cut, but Louisa tweaked it to be far more flattering for my face. Also, I never realized that having such a great cut is, A, so much easier to style, and B, I can go much longer between cuts so I am ultimately saving money. Price-wise, they are not cheap but they are less than my previous salon. If I give up a few martinis or Starbucks a month, I can afford it. "You get what you pay for!" Lastly, everyone is down to earth in this salon and they take their time with you, especially at the shampoo station, which is my favorite part!
