Had a problem my first visit. Sean(whom I adore), at the front desk, called to fix that problem. Which honestly, who does that?? Name one salon you've gone to that actually called you to fix a problem you see with your hair....yeah never happens. You want exceptional customer service and a salon that will fix any mistakes that could ever happen with your hair? I'm sure your answer is yes because I damn sure do!! I will never go to another salon again!! Cheyenne made my experience so amazing!! She gave me a incredible head massage in their gorgeous and relaxing wash room. She didn't just fix the problem, she gave my hair a makeover!! Color corrected and fixed the cut. My hair looks incredible!! And Cheyenne was so sweet!! Gave my daughter a chair to sit next to me. Even though thy aren't allowed to do that. She did it anyway because she seen that my daughter was a little nervous about sitting by herself up front. I, on the other hand felt kind of rude because I had no idea she wasn't allowed back with me. If your not getting your hair done, your kinda in the way. Makes perfect sense. So, Cheyenne thank you so much for that. She also got us drinks and snacks and made us laugh. :) I could definitely tell that she genuinely loves what she does. I really was worried going back that they would basically treat me like I was crazy and my hair was fine, which it wasn't. And they didn't at all. I'm really thankful for that. Stylists are good but last time they asked me to go buy something at Target to pay them in cash because their system was down. When I refused they were going to have me just sit and wait until it was fixed. Last time I called in to make an appointment and the system was down again so I couldn't make an appointment. This salon has a lot of issues. I wouldn't recommend them.

I am new to the area and needed to find a place to get my hair done. This is usually a little stressful for me, and takes a few tries. NOT THIS TIME! I found Laura by chance but will absolutely keep going to her by choice :). She does a beautiful balayage effect and sets realistic expectations for how long it takes to get full results. I was really happy that she patiently worked with me to get the look I wanted. I also love that her blowout made my super long hair feel light and full of volume - some people load my hair up with products and it looks flat, Laura definitely knows how to do long hair. Can't wait to return! UPDATE: I had an awesome blowout with all the awesome extras (scalp massage, shoulder massage) from Janet. Felt really nice to have some pampering after a stressful week :)

Salon 427 is amazing, the workers there are super sweet, and the inside of the building is absolutely beautiful, the wash room is so calm and quite. They also have complementary upgrades, along with your choice of soda, water, or wine, and a small snack for while you wait, I got a haircut and color for a very good price and I'm very pleased with how it looks.

I made an appointment for a haircut a week in advance. I got a reminder for my appointment day and time. On the day of my appointment I received a message from the salon that there was an earlier time available, and if I was able to come in earlier call and let them know. I am a teacher who also works in the summer teaching pre-K, so I was not able to come in earlier than my appointment time (I couldn’t get my message until after 4 anyway). When I got to the salon, they told me that I didn’t have and appointment at 5. I showed them the reminder and the voicemail that clearly stated my appointment day and time. I should have taken this as a sign to go elsewhere, but I waited until they figured it out. After a while they told me that I would be getting my hair cut by someone different—Krystal. They said the cut would be taken care of by the salon because of their mistake. I talked with Krystal about what I wanted done with my hair and agreed that she would cut my hair to just below shoulder length. As she was cutting, at first it was fine but then she kept cutting one side and then the other, saying they weren’t even. At one point I asked her how much she was cutting off. She showed me and I said wow that is an awful lot! Finally when she finished she had me look and asked how I liked it. I could only say oh my it is MUCH shorter than I wanted. The stylist apologized and said that is good to know for next time. LOL It didn’t even look good and the sides never did get even—they just got SHORT! I had to pay for the conditioning treatment and tip. When I was checking out I definitely voiced all of my concerns. They called me later that night apologizing and offered to refund me for the conditioning treatment. I can’t even pull my hair back now without using a bunch of bobby pins because it is too short. Looking back I should have either just left from the start or say I just wanted a trim. Lesson learned!

Made appointment while waiting offered drink never received. They took me about 25 minutes late. Very pushy said couldn't get cut wanted. She consulted with another stylist and all went down hill from there. She got someone else to shampoo hair. Then she cut hair. Asked her to thin and she wouldn't, wanted to frame face didn't. Put enough product in hair for over a week. Put me under dryer and called it done. From consultation to finish asked to see color swatches for coloring at least 3 times. She never would show them to me. I knew the was issues with cut, she told me to give it a little. Called to go back in to get fixed, very rude gave me a time. Called me back when was on way and changed to over hour later with someone else. Called to ask and was so rude. Didn't go back. They made basically were letting me know did not want to fix issue. Would not recommend to anyone. They try to hide behind all the things they offer to make up for the lack of professionalism. Don't be fooled! Look elsewhere. A lot better places! Thank you for your reply. I have tried to get in touch with you, not able you have always just left. I have not received any calls or text from the salon since leaving the review. I have also asked around for which is the best place to go and even asked at Ulta and they have told me Salon 427 is not the place to go. They are not saying because they have hair salon. They would only recommend one stylist from there salon. With not being able to reach and no calls from the salon I am even more disappointed than I was originally. As was stated you were trying to get in contact with me and have never received anything. NO calls no text.

Miss Michelle is the best! The whole experience at Salon 427 is amazing from the moment you walk through the door. Brian is so pleasant, and Steve really helped me out when my cell phone died and he found a charger that worked! This is my second visit to Salon 427, and I have to travel about 15 miles to get there, but well worth the drive (even if it is on 19). I have already booked my next two reservations! Thank you to all the staff, especially you Michelle, you are greatly appreciated!

I avoid haircuts like some people avoid the dentist. But this was wonderful. When I called to make the appointment they asked me lots of questions to choose whom I should see. Melanie was chosen, with long long brunette hair, cut to have interest without much or any styling. Today we talked about my likes, dislikes, and that I often forget to even brush my hair, and live in the messy bun. Melanie then took me to the wash room, a soothing dark room with a wall length gas fire. After a relaxing wash comes the neck massage. Next was layers, drying and styling, which Melanie patiently explained how to style since I don’t have a clue, I didn’t even know what she meant when she asked “would you like your hair smoothed?” We opted for curls, and she explained curling wands from curling irons, and touchable texturizing sprays. It was such a nice experience I think I will actually do it again in a couple months.

From the receptionists to the stylists, everyone at this salon is exceptional at making you feel welcomed and valued. It took me many disappointing experiences at other salons before i read the reviews for this salon and gave it a try. What a refreshing breath of air. i found an awesome stylist here named Erika. She is friendly, down to earth and really listens to what you say. She went out of her way to fix another stylists mistakes and she is an awesome colorist. She never made me feel rushed and she took the time to make sure i was completely satisfied with my service. I found her to be professional and just a joy to work with. She gave me this awesome purple highlighted hair and i love it. Don't hesitate to come here and ask for Erika UPDATE: it's rare that i would take the time to post a second review but i just had to recognize one of the best stylists i have ever had. Erika is truly a talented colorist. This time i took a chance and had Erika cut my long bushy hair. it takes me a long time to trust someone to cut my hair. Erika did a fantastic job. She is just as good as any NY hairstylist i have gone to. They truly care here and if you are not happy you have a seven day guarantee to make it right. Do yourself a favor and go to this salon for service. And if you want a modern, up to date stylist who is not afraid to cut or use color, then ask for Erika. She's the Bomb!!!!

I am visiting Spring Hill for 2 months, and needed a fresh haircut before going on a cruise. I NEVER get my hair cut by anyone but my own stylist at home in TN. (Who now lives in Raleigh, NC and drives to TN once a month to cut her clients hair. Long story . . .) I'll spare you the story, but I hope I've made my point: I am just a little particular!! Anyway, I took a chance. . . I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER with the terrific hairstyle I got at Salon 427!! Erin was wonderful! She took the time to ask questions, really examining my hair, and, most important, Listening to what was important to me. I have exactly what I wanted: a style that is perfect for me, and easy to maintain. Erin also took the time to show me several ways to style it, using one product that I already had. Shelby was my stylist, this was my first time coming to this salon and it was for an all over color and health-trim cut. She was fabulous, I love how the color turned out, love the cut, and she was so sweet and fantastic! They also give complimentary drinks on Saturdays (not sure about the other days of the week), but I was offered a glass of wine, beer, a mimosa, water infused with fruit, and also snacks, all for free! I only had one mimosa and no snacks, but having the option was so nice!! Also, if it's your first visit you get 2 upgrades, you can choose the paraffin wax for your hands, a hot towel for your head right after a wash, or massage of some kind (either hand, neck, or scalp, I think). I got the paraffin wax and hot towel, both were divine! Returning customers get 1 upgrade. Seriously, this salon is amazing. They also have a private room in the back for those who are with a large party (like bridesmaids, etc.) or if there are other personal reasons you'd like to be out of the main area. It's really nice, they really cater to their guests and I love that about them. I can't wait to go back and see Shelby again in 6 to 8 weeks! :)

I had been to this salon previously to have my hair blow dried which is an awesome experience in itself. I scheduled an appointment to have a shadow root done so I didn’t have to keep bleaching my roots to keep up with platinum blonde hair. I was much less than satisfied but reluctant to call and tell them. I finally broke down a few days later and they fit me in right away to see their blonding specialist Laura. She not only fixed my hair but gave me exactly what I wanted from the beginning!! She is so talented and I’m so happy I made the call to come back here. She even came in early to accommodate my busy schedule!! This place is world class in customer service. Pre booked my appointment with Laura 6 weeks from now and I can’t wait to come back!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I got a full head of highlights on 4/13, it looked good when I left at first. Until I washed it, it then turned to brassy looking color and constantly looked oily and unwashed. I came in for a rediscovery and she then turned my hair ORANGE. I came back for a third time to have it fixed they didn’t schedule enough time for the stylist to fix it, so they wanted me to make a fourth appointment! I said forget just give me a refund, they refused and I cancelled any further appointments I had with them.

I called this morning to see if I could get in with one of two stylists for a men's cut. I was told my usual stylist Krystal was fully booked, but that Samantha had 3 slots available. Even though I was running late, Sam got me in, did an AMAZING job. I'm so beyond happy with my new style, it's perfect for the summer weather. (I just want to add, Sam's scalp massage was INCREDIBLE!!! I almost fell asleep!

Kris is an absolutely amazing stylist! She is so nice and personable, one of the best stylists I've ever had. She knows how to style and curl my hair without using heat, which is really hard to do since I have very thick hair. I love coming to salon 427 because they always make me feel like a princess, from the quiet wash room, to the soda and pretty flowers you get when you walk in. Sometimes they push products, but I talked to Ashley and she gave me a whole new understanding of why her company and others push their products. Everyone at this salon is very nice and respectful, if you ever have an issue they will do their best to fix it. Keep it up guys, you're doing great!! So, I had this upsetting experience today with Salon 427: I scheduled an appointment to have my hair cut, they made me wait a while - which would be ok with me, it happens - but then after doing all the talking with Krystal (who was very sweet!), they sent me home saying that they wouldn't have time to cut my hair+blow-dry it! It was really upsetting because I had a day off work and planned myself to get this done... I even scheduled an appointment, drove all the way there, got my hopes high that somebody would help me fix the mess on my head, and they simply told me "sorry, we will have to reschedule you"! Plus, they wanted to charge me extra for a blow-dry and when I said I just wanted a hair cut - thinking we could save some time - they said they couldn't let me go home without a blow-dry! I mean, shouldn't we be able to choose whether we want to pay for a service or not? At last, they decided to allow Krystal to cut the tips of my hair but not do the layers without a blow-dry... I would have to go back there for her to finish it... :/ I thought it was really disrespectful. I think the client shouldn't have to pay for their lack of time-planning. It is a shame because I really liked Krystal, she did a great job explaining all the process and giving me tips to how to care better for my hair. I am sure she would've done a great job! Now I will never know. They said they wanted me to have the full experience and gave me no experience at all. A good experience was all I wanted.

Don't waste your time or money. went for cut & color with a level 4 stylist. Showed pic of desired color. She agreed she could do.the time turned out nothing like it.the stylist was acting like nothing was wrong. so she added more color on top of it. Now it is TOO DARK. still acting like nothing is wrong. it gets worse so she Bleach my hair out. Now my hair is dry and damaged but sill not the color i wanted. very uneven color. Now the hair cut.once side was longer than the other. she fixed it but. i had to mention it to her. over 6 hours & $290 later. i was just over it!!! just wanted to leave. I went home saw that my hair was different colors it was bad. now with hair damage due to over processing. the next day i contacted the salon. the owner called me back said to come back and were fix it. I did not go back. i was too scared of getting my hair more damage. P.S the stylist who did my hair was a level 4. the front desk said she was the best. never had a problem with the old salon before. always love what they did to my hair. but not anymore this was my first time going to the new salon and my last!!!!!!!!!

Upon arrival, you are greeted by friendly staff and offered a beverage. It arrives to you on a tray along with a vase and flower. The atmosphere is most soothing. A large industrial/contemporary style interior. The shampoo room is to die for. Dimly lit by a gas fireplace and quite peaceful. The 5 minute scalp massage is amazing. Moving to our experience. My Niece and I visited for the first time to seek a DIY color correction. It was quite a job and seemed to be done to perfection. She was going "funky" looking for pink with brown woven in. A few days later, the color did not seem as vibrant as was intended. We contacted the salon and it was agreed that we would go for another appointment to fix the color. You see, Salon 427 has a 7 day customer satisfaction guarantee. The issue we had did fall into the terms and conditions and so the color was fixed for free. My Niece has an amazing style and color now and she is over the moon. Both the owner and staff were amazing. KRYSTAL took wonderful care of my Niece. She is quite amazing, personable, and with the knowledge and expertise necessary to make this a great experience.

My hair was a wreck and Laura was very patient listening to me talk about my hair drama. She made some awesome suggestions that I am considering but I did have the cut she recommended. don't waste your time or money. went for consultation with a level 3 stylist. Showed pic of desired color. She agreed she could do. turned out nothing like it. went back to salon which they concurred looked nothing like I wanted so they scheduled a redo with another level 3 stylist and ugh the same old yellow blonde when I wanted platinum. Neither stylist could get my color right and I still had to pay over $200 bucks and spend over 5 hours at this salon and now with hair damage due to over processing

They are also really gentle too, if your hair gets tangled like mine, don't worry they'll take their time! Really awesome people and they all do a good job, they do a great job with hair cuts, dying and all sorts of stuff!

I was looking on Yelp for a walk-in friendly place that offers blow outs on a Sunday... not easy to find. After a little bit of confusion about the old location on Yelp, I called the salon and was able to get an appointment for the same afternoon! Dustin was an absolute delight! He enthusiastically did my hair as if we were old friends having fun, yet offered tips and tricks along the way. I have naturally very thick, very frizzy and curly hair that is not easy to tame. He got it sleeker and shinier than it’s been in a long time and made it seem effortless- which made the service more enjoyable for me. Many stylists don’t want to do simply a blowout but I felt like Dustin genuinely loves what he’s doing and was there to make me feel great. Well... he did! The whole experience left me feeling light as a feather. It was the perfect Sunday afternoon treat and I will definitely be back! I can’t say enough great things about the salon and level of service. Finally a place in Spring Hill that makes you feel like you’re in a posh big city salon! Cheers!

It was my first time at Salon 427 and it was unlike any of my previous salon experiences! The shop is stylish and hits you when you walk in but that was only the beginning. Heather was my stylist, she really listened to how I wanted my hair. I have a short haircut and most stylists in my past are afraid to cut too short. Heather listened and cut it exactly how I wanted. She gave me a tour that I didn't think I needed but gave me a deeper understanding of how the salon was run and a little insight to the salon's mission. To top it all off Steven the owner came out and spoke to me. I was very impressed by the community connection he felt and that was translated by my experience. Way to go Salon 427, Ive already referred my daughter who I'm sure will love you as I do!

For the money, I expected more. I didn’t care about the little extras like the drink, I just wanted my hair like the pictures I showed them. I wanted dark brown hair with different shades of purple, and a certain hair cut. My hair looks black and there was hardly any purple in my hair, and most of it has come out, even with the sp3cial shampoo. I’ve never gone somewhere and spent a lot on my hair, so I feel like I didnt get my money’s worth. I won’t be going back. That’s a lot of money I could have spent on something else. Not happy at all! They have these videos on the wall showing how they can do all these different colors in your hair, but they couldn’t get a few different shades of purple in mine? I don’t get it.

I've always had bad experiences with relaxers in my hair, but today Diana made my hair look absolutely FLAWLESS with a relaxer and a trim. I love Salon 427. Front staff and stylist are great. I had gone in on a Monday wanting something different which including a color change. I had a picture of what I was looking for. I picked out the color. When completed, I was a bit shocked because it had more purple and bolder than I was looking for, but assumed this was just the shock of the change of color. I looked at it for two days and decided it was not for me, but was worried it would be hard to get out of my hair. I called and they set me up with Laura who is a blonde specialist. I can't tell you what a fabulous job she did getting out the purple and putting in the new penny color I was looking for. I was worried it would damage my hair, but it appears to be great with no damage. I would definitely recommend the salon and Laura!

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of getting colored and a blow dry by Laura. As soon as I met with her it was as if I’d known her my entire life. She did exactly what I wanted to my hair. I left radiating with a full, dark, shiny, healthy head of hair (I wish I could add a photo. I belong on Tv with this hair.) my husband was thrilled. I have a lot of hair and she worked fast and efficient. I will definitely be back to Salon 427 and recommend Laura to everyone!!! FYI the wash room is a slice of heaven and Janet washed away all my worries.

Very overpriced and unprofessional staff. I went in for an estimate on extensions which I've worn for eight years. The group of stylists seemed more like buzzards trying to get to a wounded animal. The estimate came in double what I was use to paying and they spoke I'll of the other ships and products in the surrounding area which all had reputable names.

I have never been to a Salon that I felt so welcome. The place is very nice and inviting. This was the 2nd time Brittany has ever cut my hair, and she cut it exactly how I wanted it. She listened to me when I told her I wanted LOTS of layers and to keep my length and to only cut the dead ends off. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and I think she did a great job. If you are looking for someone who knows how to give the layers you want and listen to the style you are looking for she is definitely the one you want to see. I am sure the other stylist are great as well, just haven't experience that to vouch for. :) I attached the picture of my hair I may post the back later to show all the layers.

Friendly service and great prices but my hair did not turn out like anything I asked for. The girl that did my hair was forgetful and flaky, forgetting to even cut my hair and coloring my hair completely different than what was discussed in detail. UPDATE:: Thank you, Steve, for reaching out to me and doing everything in your power to mend the situation. I did not think customer service of this level existed anymore. I like to write really comprehensive reviews so this is going to be kinda long, but I hope it helps someone! So I just loved to Spring Hill and because I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to someone doing my hair (previous terrible haircuts can be traumatic!) So it was really struggling. All one length, really long, and a bad ombre from previous color and new.hair growth. The first thing I noticed is how awesome the receptionist was. She has a very sweet demeanor and instantly makes you feel more at ease. She took me on a tour of the facility and I could tell by talking to her how much she genuinely likes her job and the people at it which is really refreshing! She even grabbed me a complimentary glass of wine, how could anyone say no to that! So after the tour I met my stylish Sarah who was SO sweet and understood how anxious I was about the whole thing. We sat together for a while just talking and picking out hair colors and talking about styles. She took her time with everything and I really felt she cared about my opinion of everything. Actually, I know she did because when I looked uncomfortable about the way the color turned out she immediately went and got her supervisor who was amazing and suggested is just needed a little bit more of a punch. By this time the store had closed so she told me to come in the next day and that she would do it herself, no charge. She also spent time with Sarah showing her some cool techniques to use with a haircut like mine. I was nervous about coming in the next day and felt like I was being too high maintenance but everyone was very reassuring that all they want it for me to feel confident and happy with the style. The day next when I walked it I was even greeted with a hug from the receptionist and we just got to sit there and chat like friends inbetween her checking in people which was really nice. And because it was Saturday they brought out a mimosa! Omg! So overall, the most important thing to me is that as soon as they recognized I wasnt completely happy they went above and beyond to change that. I'm still shocked and not used to anyone doing that. I'm so happy to have found a great Salon here in Spring Hill and won't let it be another 2 years before the next cut.

It’s so hard to get a stylist that knows how to style a pixie and Sarah was a total pro and super sweet, too. I love it! Plus, the salon has special amenities that are sure to leave you feeling pampered and valued. I have been to different salons from chain to high end and this place does not disappoint.
