To all the Pure Platinum clients: After working for Allen for 10 years I want to let everyone know how Allen and Michael run their business. 1. Allen does not want to pay his employees their last check after they move on from Pure Hair or Platinum Salon in his words "she will have to take me to court" 2. You may want to look up your stylist on DBPR and make sure they are actually licensed while doing your hair as their are several unlicensed stylist working illegally in Platinum Salon. 3. I was told I could not manage or make more than 45% so I decided I had to leave if I ever wanted to make more money and that is the reason he will not pay me. I guess he needs the $900 more than I do. If you want a professional licensed stylist that knows what they are doing come see me at Salon Lofts. Anybody coming from Pure Platinum I will offer 25% off your first visit. #buy yourselfsomethingniceonme

The hair cut was alright but the man cutting my hair was the nicest, funniest person I’ve ever met, some lady kept calling and being rude and he had to stop cutting my hair to answer and he seemed almost happy to tell her off! 10/10 would let him cut my hair again

Not only does he train them but he offers them continuing education. I love the atmosphere and all the stylist that are here. Finding a new colorist/stylist is one of my top least favorite things to do. I love my curls, but finding someone who can make them beautiful is difficult at best. And, my hair is fine so it damages easily. After two failed outcomes at other salons, I scheduled an appointment with Daniel. I wanted a balance in my over-processed highlights with textured, bouncy curls. The finished product looks amazing! Not just "so-so, yeah I can live with it"... I actually love it! Daniel is energetic, creative and has a wonderful vision for what will look good on you. He listens to you and has the talent to create exactly what you're asking for. He now does my hair and four other ladies in my family who do not have curls. We're all thrilled with our hair! If you want to embrace your curls, or whatever hair type you have ladies, Daniel is the best I have seen in years.

BEST HAIR SALON FOR BLEACH BLONDES!!!! I drive 3 1/2 hours to have Blaire do my hair. She is literally a blonde life saver, I have NEVER had my hair feel this healthy (7 years and going) I walked out of the salon with no breakage, no stretchy stringy over processed strains. Being a working mom and a full time student I have been on a budget. This was a salon that I can afford and I haven't been this happy with my hair in years! Alyssa worked on my 5 yr olds hair and treated her with the same respect she treated me and was able to incorporate everything she wanted with what I as a mom needed for her. I went in there clueless as to what I wanted to do and she didn't touch my hair until I was fully excited about what I was going to have done. Her style has completely changed my self esteem and its only been a day since it has been changed. She was the friendliest and most thorough stylist I have ever been to. I will only be going to her from now on and have recommended her to everyone I know. A new haircut can change your day but her's has changed my whole opinion about myself!

It's been the best experience of my life in a beauty salon so far. Five stars do not even compare to my gratitude and joy for finding this place. I moved from Puerto Rico and they made myself feel at home. All the personnel is adorable. Allen, the owner, made the perfect haircut. He knew not only what I wanted after asking him to surprise me but he is also very punctual, professional and also a great teacher (gave me a free class on how to manage my hair). Stephanie also helped and made waxing with light hands so it didn't hurt. The setting of the salon is beautiful and the prices are very affordable. I can say we had a fantastic time n all the staff there worked together to do all of us at once. All the staff there are very friendly, happy and professional. Daniel is fantastic! Attention to detail doesn't even begin to describe Daniel's obsession for that perfect cut. I've received quite a few great hair cuts from various stylists at Pure Salon, but Daniel seems to have the edge i'm looking for. Too each is own i suppose, but being stopped on my way out to touch up my hair was the icing on the cake. Perfection is what he's after, and you'll get it time in and time again! I've been to Stephanie twice now. Her coloring is superb! I'm slowly going blonde and have gotten highlights as well as a Keratin treatment. The Keratin has made my hair noticeably more straight and less frizzy. It cuts down on my prep time by over 30 minutes! The highlights are super natural looking and I have gotten countless compliments. I also cut my hair quite a bit shorter and Stephanie took the time to make it a slow transition and to get the perfect length! Overall it's been a GREAT experience and I have follow up appointments booked!

(Side note: If you are using bleach ask to have "Olaplex" added to your color/treatment. That stuff is the BEST hair product I have ever come across! It will help strengthen your hair & not leave you with any damage (even if you bleach your whole head) - it's like Heaven in a bottle!)

For $130 I would expect to be wowed, made to feel special and welcome, but I left questioning why I was willing to try this “upgrade” in salons. If the services were more reasonably priced, I would say that I left with what I expected: cut and color. Instead, I say “meh.” I’m disappointed. Advice for all hair professionals: do not leave hair dye all over your client’s face to remove at home. Also, don’t smoke at work. If you have to smoke, wash your hands, because they smell! At checkout I was asked if I wanted to leave gratuity. Is $130 not gratuitous? The owner should not put his employees in the position to ask for tips.

WOW! Would you like the salon experience of a high end salon without the price tag that goes along with that! Pure Hair (Allen to be exact) saved my life when I walked in that shop. A friend recommended Allen at Pure Hair, and what a blessing that turned out to be... Like we all have done, I thought I would lighten my dark hair with some blond highlights, bad idea simply put. I went to see Allen, asked him to do what he thought would fix the problem. Quite frankly, it is the best cut and color fix I have ever had and that includes shops that charged over $!50 to correct hair color mistakes. The staff is outstanding. Always making sure I am comfortable even if I am waiting a few minutes, which is rare. Great prices as well. First - Stephanie is ABSOLUTELY the best hair stylist I have ever had! she transformed My hair in to true art! I was skeptical on doing anything to my hair because I’ve never done anything to it. Apparently I am a unicorn LOL. Steph coached me through the whole process & explained every step to the tee so I was full comfortable with what she was doing. She was so professional and personable, super easy to talk to and made me feel right at home. My hair feels the healthiest it’s ever been all thanks to Stephanie! Thank sooo much for the transformation, I feel so much better about myself and filled with confidence. Second- Pure Hair is one of the coolest & nicest solans Iv ever been to! From the decor to the happy/friendly vibes you feel when you first walk in , it’s definitely a gem ! Everyone is so sweet and very accommodating. I felt so welcomed and was immediately offered a beverage. There was no wait time ( they honor their appointment times) which I loved! The owners of the Solon were there as well and they are super sweet and attentive! I RECOMMEND PURE HAIR CO. 10000000% TO EVERYONE ! I have been frequenting this salon for a few years and just recently have made the acquaintance of a few of their staff.. Being said, I have begun to over hear some extremely disturbing news regarding their problems keeping on stylists. Their owner trashes the reputation of their stylists if and when they gain more clientele then him by down talking each stylist in turn. I myself have heard this banter constantly. I also figured out my hair was being fried and started to eventually fall out at the roots due to Alan himself over dying my hair and not educating me on the process or how to treat it. As of recently, I found myself in the care of Clive from pure hair and he did an amazing job to help reconstruct some semblance of what my hair used to look like. Most recently, I went to the salon and found out Clive no longer worked there and was given NO information on where he was now working. It was almost as if he was hiding the information from me! I ironically went into Cameo Salon to find a new stylist (as I was not going back to pure hair due to the issues previously stated) and low and behold.. Clive is now working there!! Talk about prayers being answered.. If you value your hair or do not enjoy listening to the ramblings of an irate owner... STAY AWAY!

I just had my hair done by Blaire at Pure Hair Co and could not be happier! She did the Brazilian Blowout and took her time to make sure it was done perfectly. I am biracial and have tight frizzy curls and I was shocked by how well it worked. After the wash, my curls were longer and even when wet had a noticable difference in frizz. Honestly this stuff is hair magic and Blaire is a magician! I would recommend to any curly haired girl!

I went in hopeful to get a bayalage to change my hair up because I am going on vacation and it's my birthday, but the girl that did my hair didn't do what I asked at all and spent more time ripping the knots out of my hair due the teasing technique she used when lightening my hair. The blonde came out a brassy copper color and she should have toned it but she didn't and it's not blended well at all - I have a hard line from brown to blonde. So after paying for that, I'm having to pay to get my hair fixed again before my vacation. The people in the salon are friendly, but overall not pleased with my hair at all.

I said do your magic and WOW he did! Took the poor color job and made it fabulous. Then he gave me an edgy cut that I love. This place has terrible customer service. I made an appointment for 10am. I arrived at 9:45. Nobody even said so much as a hello to me until 10am. At 10:15 I ask someone if I was going to get my haircut. She pointed at a stylist who had JUST started highlights and said it would be 5 minutes. This was my first appointment with this salon and I will never be returning.

Ok ladies, I'm 67 and just had gotten a very disastrous hair cut....but it wasn't at Pure Hair! Allen did nothing less than a miraculous job fixing this awful botched hairdo. I thought for sure he would say a short pixie was the only solution but this lovely talented man not only fixed it but gave me great style I never would have thought could happen with what he had to work with. Everyone in the salon was watching how this would turn out and it turned out really great. After I left I noticed dye all over my front hairline and when I came back in I was handed a bottle of color corrector & washcloth and told to scrub it off myself. After I tipped you 23%! Disgusting. Then I get home and see this all underneath! You should be ashamed to be in the business and call you are a hair professional.

The staff is really nice and got me in very quickly but my stylist was rushing to do my hair. He missed strands of my hair, I keep finding more and I have to end up cutting them. They didn't color my hair the way I wanted, I had a picture of how I wanted it to look. It wasn't worth the amount of money I spent in my opinion. I will be going somewhere else next time.
