The salon is beautiful and the staff was very friendly and nice. However, I don’t recommend this salon for mixed curly hair girls( I have 3b-3c curl type) I’ve only been here once and the stylist I was assigned to, did not do a good job. My hair wasn’t washed properly, I could still smell it while she was blow drying. Then she proceeded to try to comb my hair out (while wet with no conditioner) with a fine tooth comb. The whole process took longer than it normally does for me (so I was charged $10 extra) and I could tell she didn’t have a real understanding or experience with my hair type. When it was finished my hair was immediately frizzing and it wasn’t smooth and silky. The stylist was very nice and tried to do my hair to the best of her ability but I was not satisfied with the results and will not be going back.

I was in need of a last minute full foil and trim. I called Mosaic, and Mike (one of the owners) had an opening for me. This was my first time here and to say I had an amazing experience doesn’t even do it justice. The moment you walk in they offer many different beverage options to you, then they have you fill out a short form that asks how you feel about your hair and what your concerns are. I’ve never had a salon do that before. Once you’re in the chair they adress your concerns and explain what you can do to fix them. My hair turned out looking healthier than it was before the highlight (unheard of for me), the color is exactly what I wanted, and it was styled perfectly. I will absolutely be back and I highly recommend trying this salon out.

NEVER AGAIN. WORSE SALON EXPERIENCE EVER. I chose Mosaic Hair Studios by searching online and looking at reviews. After working in Mali, Africa as a Paramedic for 3 months I couldn’t wait to return home and pamper myself. I have been always a brunette with different shades and highlights but was ready for a change, a total hair makeover. After doing research online I thought Mosaic Hair Salon would be the perfect place. My change was to go for a lighter shade of Rose Gold. After research and watching videos on how this color is achieved I thought Id take the leap, even though the average time for the color change by my research was in the region of 7 hours, the result would be worth it. Right? Wrong. I emailed the front desk manager Nicky pictures of my hair color at her request, so they can compare my current color to the color I suggested which was Rose Gold. I was told in an email that the price would be between $200 and $260 but I might have to come in twice to achieve the color I was after. They could squeeze me in for three hours today (Thurs 29th March). Three hours? After all my research the alarms bells should have started ringing at this stage, however as I am on leave from working in a war torn country for the U.N. in Africa, the risk of having to pop back to the salon for a bit more girlie pampering time and to achieve the color I really wanted, the prospect of round two wasn’t too much of an issue. So, three hours later I am in tears in the parking lot after being humiliated and asked to leave, as the color is pretty much back to where it was, with the salon asking for $200 on top of the $50 deposit I had already paid. I suggested I pay half now and the other half when I come back in to have the color put straight to the rose gold I wanted. Perfectly reasonable we thought as basically I was walking out pretty much as I had walked in. NO, no, no, no! To my amazement they wanted the whole lot paying for, as the owner leapt in to defend his hairdresser and told us in no uncertain terms that when you go to this salon you are not paying for the result of color or style that you wanted, you are paying for their time. So basically, unlucky lady, pay up for our incompetence and failure to achieve what you the customer wanted, and if you want us to try again, you must pay again, I’ll have to wait a month though because they need to bleach my hair again. Great! I can spend my whole leave with hair that I HATE and pay them to try again just before I head back to a war zone, NO guarantees though. Unbelievable! So, they want 500 odd dollars with no guarantee that they will get it right the second time around!

INCREDIBLE!!! I have had some mediocre massages before that made me left feeling like I had just paid someone to apply lotion on my back. I was so disappointed and frustrated by these experiences that I swore I would never have a massage again. But my experience with Corey, and actually the whole staff at the Mosaic Hair Studio, has completely changed my opinion about professional massages. From the moment I called to schedule my appointment until the time I left the studio I was blown away by the professionalism, kindness and attention I received from everyone at the Mosaic Hair Studio. Corey, in particular, was very respectful and clearly knew what he was doing. I workout a lot and suffer from migraines, so I carry a lot of tension on my upper back, shoulders and neck, and Corey took care of those issues like only an expert would. The only problem I predict you having is feeling so relaxed that it will make it hard for you to leave. Again, INCREDIBLE!!!

Well this turned out to be the most mean hating salon ever. I scheduleed an appointment for a consultation for different conditioning treatments like the Brazilian. I agreed to pay for a blowdry. As a transgender person I felt uncomfortable with a man washing my hair at the beginning. I was then treating really bad afterwards while I needed some questions answered to the female clerk. Another very intimidating man came over and was like rushing me out the door to just pay. He said my hair wasn't good enough for treatment. I need to pick from coloring or straighting? Really ? I should really get a refund for refusing service! This should be a warning for other propective transgender people or client. If u ask to many questions it is bother to them abd then they will refuse service but still expect u to pay. Wow in orlando fFlorida.

Im solely giving this place a 1 star(would be 0 if possible) because of the front desk phone experience. They might be great at their specialty, but I wouldn't know because they hung up on me. I called the first time and a lady picked up and asked me "how can I help you today" and I responded asking if anybody at the salon specialized in ethnic hair. Instead of getting a no which would have been fine because I realize not everybody can do ethnic hair...she chose to hang up on me. I called back four times and even used the automated text message to ask for a call back and nobody called me back. I called from a different number and she picked up so... yeah. I am sorry to have to judge the place as a whole solely off that one person, but thats what I know of the place and im just giving my honest personal review.

I’m from NYS, and My daughter was hospitalized in Orlando Hospital for over 6 weeks. After sleeping in her room all those days, I was badly in need of conditioning, trim, & just some good old pampering. Mosaic came up in a google search with great reviews. Since it was a short walking distance from the hospital, I called. The salon got me right in and when I walked through the door I was made to feel at home. I was assigned to hair stylist Julie. She analyzed my hair and picked an Olaplex conditioning treatment for my hair. It turned out to be an awesome choice. My thin damaged hair was so shiny and full after this treatment. She did not go beyond a trim since I love my hair long. Julie was friendly and an excellent stylist. I highly recommend Mosaic salon and spa. I was so impressed with Mosaic, I knew I could count on them for more services coming up at the end of this week; facial etc.

Megann is the BEST -- she took my hair, which one been chopping at myself for YEARS and had finally grown it out enough to get cut by a professional, and did a fantastic job. It fits my style, sassy but simple to maintain, and beautifully frames my face with just the right amount of layers to turn my thin hair into a full head of hair. I personally had a bad experience with the women doing my blowout a few months ago. She was not interested in helping me. She seemed annoyed with my long and thick hair. She didn’t talk to me and left waives in my hair after I asked her to straighten my hair. At the end, she went to the front desk while I’m paying for her bad work and told me that next time I need to let them know the type of hair I have before booking another appointment. That was my first and last time at this salon!

I went to the spa using my $25 coupon after getting a great blowout and Olaplex treatment from Julie. I saw Corey for my massage. He was very attentive to my concerns for product ingredients due to my allergies to certain ingredients. He gave a wonderful massage and took the time to do extra massage to help my carpal tunnel issues. He also did some traction on my arms and legs. I felt so relaxed and revived. I definitely want to try the CBD oil massage next time! I give 5 stars to Julie in the salon and Corey in the spa!

I called to book an appointment and was advised "they don't have the tools or training" to do an etnic person's hair. I love when businesses are honest but what threw me off is when the receptionists stated "we don't have the tools". Being a person of color does not require unknown "tools" to do my hair. The same tools every other race use can be used in our hair. it's no different from a Caucasian or Spanish women with thick curly hair!

My hair was not only being burned but it was looking puffy so I apologized and left with half my hair wet. I went to a nearby blow drying bar where the stylist gave me a polished blow dry.

I stumbled across Mosaic whole I was looking for a place to get a keratin treatment. This is easily one of the best salons I've been to! Not only did Mike, the owner, give me a fantastic trim and keratin treatment, their prices are more than reasonable and they go out of their way to make your visit feel like a special treat. Front desk staff are helpful and welcoming and they also offer massage and facial treatments at their business next door.

Wow Mosaic! Job well done. I got an appt for the morning on the very next day, the online appt scheduler was incredibly easy to use and the price for a cut and a blowout was very reasonable. All the staff seemed happy. I had been looking for a new place because my old one had raised their rates but yet had decreased the percentage they were paying to their stylists. I will be keeping an eye on mosaic's turnover as an indication of dissatisfaction, but I think the core staff stay there...which is a good sign. So far all signs point to this being my new go to place.

I came for the reviews and did not leave disappointed. The salon itself is very welcoming and cozy. You can tell all the stylists care about building relationships with their clients. I've always had very long hair and have been to plenty of salons that have made me feel rushed and almost like an inconvenience because my hair takes a lot of work so it always makes me nervous going to a new salon. But I definitely didn't feel that here. My stylist Shelly even stayed late to make sure I was happy with my hair. She put in over three hours of work and I couldn't be happier. She said she was a perfectionist and she was right! She even said that she always has to make sure her work is perfect because if it's not it will keep her up at night, which I thought was very sweet. I've never really left a salon completely satisfied with my hair but this time I definitely did. I'm happy with the new direction I took with my hair and don't think I could have picked a better salon to do it.

I can't say enough great things about Mosaic. Everyone is so friendly here. They treat you very well and even have wine waiting if you like. The never try to push products on you. For the level of attention and service you would expect it to be very high priced but it is pretty reasonable. I have never had a bad experience here. I see Amelia for my hair and color. She is so talented and knowledgeable about color. I loved every color and cut she has done. What I love most about her is that is honest and will tell you if she doesn't think it will come out the way you want. She really cares about your hair and the outcome.

Taylor was awesome and did an amazing job with my balayage+highlights. It's been years since I've been to a salon but she made me very comfortable and at ease. I will definitely refer friends and family over to Mosaic! PS - Thank you, Taylor! See you in a couple of months :)

I was slightly skeptical about starting eyelash extension services at first, for my own personal reasons. Though Taylor immediately made me feel right at home and walked me through the entire process and answered all of my crazy questions! I have now visited 3 times and both Taylor and Michaela have been amazing and great to work with. The salon is adorable from the outside and just as cute on the inside. Very clean and accommodating.

I have been here three times already within the past two months, it was a gift for my birthday and I immediately fell in love with the place, the atmosphere and Daisy and Taylor. Daisy has already done my hair and my daughters, and soon my whole family, she is awesome! Taylor is my go to spa girl. The greatest thing about booking with Taylor, is the not traditional but yet calm music she has on! These two girls really make you feel like your going to a friend's home to get a makeover and have some wine. :)

A not so happy experience. I am shopping for a new stylist and made an appointment for a consultation, wash and style. I arrived to a very pleasant atmosphere. Moments later an assistant takes me to a wash bowl. Afterward I met Kim, she is under the assumption I am there for a blowout so i explained my intentions. I was not impressed with the stylist but the real issue lies with the appointment process. Not only was my appointment messed up because I was booked for the wrong service, but in a follow up survey I explained my disappointment over the incorrect booking. My comments regarding being booked for the wrong services were obviously not read as Shortly thereafter I get a phone call asking if they could make it right by booking me with another stylist that could perhaps create an updo for me. Does no one there understand what a consultation is? If you decide to give them a try, don't expect them to think beyond the typical salon appt. And be VERY specific about your expectations.

Massage therapy is amazing there. Cory and Danielle are both phenomenal and I'm a pretty picky person, so I was so thrilled when I found a place that offers 30 mins for a quick visit or 120 min massage for a truly relaxing time. I've had my hair done once with Megan and she was sweet and listened to my concerns, I was very happy with my cut and I'll going back soon to see her.
