I was a client of Gabriel for 6 years. I highlighted, cut, and did hair extensions with him for those 6 years. The picture on the left is how he let me leave his salon with new hair extensions put on. In those 6 years he never cared to help match my highlights to the extensions. Also he never cared to take care of my highlighted hair and allowed it to be over-processed. The picture on the right is my improved and corrected hair. I went to Makeover House. Silvana took care of my hair all in one visit. She matched my highlights to the extensions and did a treatment to my damaged and over-processed hair. Gabriel has a big ego and can never admit when he has made a mistake on your hair. He only cares about his famous clients who work on TV and his favorite pet clients.

UGH!!! I went into this salon about 2 years ago and I haven't wanted to write a review but I think people should know this place was not a great experience for me. Came in to do highlights somehow let myself be convinced to do ombre by one of the employees..... stupid me ...... first off I DID NOT like the fact that the employees work on 2 to 3 people at the same time very frustrating when you have kids and want to get it and out.... I came in around 4pm and left after closing was the only one for that reason..... secondly I paid about $200-$300 and my hair looked horrible !!!! I did not express my opinion at the time since I am very shy so all I did was stay quite and thanked the person... stupid me.... i wore my hair in a bun for a month and decided to let my hair go one day at work my boss asked me when I was going to do my roots ???!!!! I explained to her that what I had was an ombre and she said that looked nothing like ombre and all my other coworkers agreed it was done to high up about and inch from my roots ...... ugh!!! so after spending all that money I ended up placing a $10 hair dye on my head BLACK!! ugh!!! Since this day I will never spend a $1 at a salon again

I first heard of Gabriel Samra on tv ever since then I always wanted to dye my hair with him. I went in for a little glow to my natural hair and he ended up giving me an orange ombre. My hair was completely burnt. I paid $300 and the damage to my hair was not taken into consideration. I went to another stylist who color corrected my hair and I also had to chop off 5 inches off of my hair and dye it a dark brown . I do not recommend this place.

I’m so disappointed. I’m going to start from the beginning... We got in and the receptionist took forever to notice us, fine they were busy so I understand that. When we finally got a stylist, I told him what I wanted he said no that I should go with a balayage. I said ok, you’re the hairstylist you will know what looks good. As he was doing my hair, he kept pulling so hard I actually started to cry. Once he was finished with my hair, he cut it. It is soo badly cut it’s not even funny. In all it took around 6 hours to do! I had other things to do that day but had to miss due to how long it took. At the same time he was doing my hair he kept doing others as well. He neglected me and did things distracted. The balayage lasted about a week. My hair is back to its original color. I spent a lot of money and time on something that didn’t last. I honestly don’t care about how much it was because I don’t mind spending money on myself but I do mind getting ripped off.

For the past six months they have increase my rates ,First time I didn’t complain,Secondl time They didn’t even call me or text me to inform me that the price is supposedly went up again I found out the same day of my service, I asked why because I’ve been having the same hair for almost 4 years This past Friday I had an appointment to do my blower,And I got a text from the Hairstylist, informing me That the price for me went up again when the past two months the increase it already,They didn’t even call me , just text me,This people are unbelievable.Normally I don’t do this Type a thing online because I don’t have time for that but today I had enough,They are very unprofessional And every level and I will never go back or recommend this place over again and I hope they don’t reply back to me saying they are sorry when they’re not sorry.. I was very disappointed in my experience at Gabriel Samra. I went on a Saturday for my 3:00pm appointment. After speaking with the front desk they told me that they would alert my stylist that I arrived. I sat in the waiting area for 45 minutes before anyone even spoke to me. During this time no-one offered me any beverage or apologized for the delay. After 45 minutes of waiting Gabriel told me that my stylist would be over shortly. About an hour after my original appointment time my stylist came over and told me we could start - she was confused and thought I was getting highlights when I made an appointment for balayage. The entire situation was so unorganized. After my coloring was done I waited under the heat for the color. Every time it beeped I had to go to the other side of the salon and alert my stylist that it beeped and each time I went over she was working on another person's hair. I didn't feel like my appointment was a focus at all. For the amount you have to pay at this salon, you should feel like a priority.

I had a terrible experience!! I made an appointment for full highlights three weeks ahead of time because Gabriel Samra was really booked. I was so excited to do my hair with him, I kept reading mixed reviews about this place but decided to go because he's very well known. The place was nice and Gabriel was very nice as well. I showed him the style of highlights I wanted so he begun. I had virgin hair medium brown walking into this salon, and he was very aware of this. He leaves the bleach on my hair for over three hours. He was working on other people but his assistant did check my hair every now and then. I didn't blow dry because my hair was already going through a lot with the bleach. After a 45 minutes drive back home My hair was already dry. when I go to look in the mirror and start brushing my hair it was falling off. It was completely dry and damaged. To top it off my highlights were white and orange. I cried because I spent a lot of money on my hair and it was so ugly and damaged. I called and explained everything and the receptionist said he'd call me back. I never got a call back ! I kept calling and he wasn't available to speak with me. I never write reviews but I had to this time. My hair was so healthy and he destroyed my hair. I cant believe I had bleach on my hair for over three hours!!! I read online that it shouldn't be on your hair for this long. I don't understand how these people would leave this strong product on my hair for so long. I felt that he was to busy doing a girls hair who works for TV then me who had the appointment first. From what I saw if you aren't famous or one of his regulars he doesn't care. When dying your hair with someone you should really know what you're getting yourself into and I hope I help someone avoid getting their hair fried.

I asked for a short bob and even though everyone was nice, Manny did not cut my ends evenly. All he did was cut straight across without any sort of layering at the ends to style it. I had to go back and Harold fixed one of the mistakes on my ends but kept making excuses saying it was minimal and it was because parts of my hair were still wet (it wasn’t wet, it was dry). He seemed to be annoyed by me even though I was extremely polite. I asked if he could layer it a little at the ends to make it look better and he said no because it was too short.
