Rachel is the best! I have very thin, fine hair, and Rachel recommended that I get extensions so I could finally have the long, thick hair I had always dreamed of. She walked me through the process (cutting, coloring, etc) and has been so helpful every step of the way, and I am absolutely in love with my hair! She always explains everything in detail beforehand, including pricing, and recommends the best products and styling tips as well. I love the vibe at Artistry, and everyone on the staff is so welcoming and professional. I would definitely recommend this salon (especially Rachel) to everyone!

This was my first experience at Artistry and I enjoyed it! I appreciate all the attention to details to make you feel pampered with a touch of luxury. I particularly liked the option sheet at the beginning, the hand massage, and especially the choices of organic and healthier products. I didn’t know about the other things when I booked, but the organic product was very influential in my decision to try Artistry. Also, I enjoyed talking with Ashley and I think she did a great job. Today was just an all over base color to hide grays. I’m thinking I may come back in a couple of months for something more fun and if so, I’d like to book with Ashley again.

It was my first time to Artistry salon after one of my close friends, who is extremely particular with her hair, recommended it. I believe my stylists name was Kristen, and she far exceeded my expectations. When I came in for my appointment, Kristen automatically came off very pleasant and presented herself very well. Right off the bat, she started asking me questions about what I had envisioned for my hair. She made some great suggestions on how to produce the outcome I wanted without using too harsh of chemicals and damage to my hair. The next step really impressed me, this is the first salon I have ever been to that had me approve my services and cost for those services upfront. So I wasn't sitting in my chair thinking is this going to cost me a $100 dollars or $500. She also let me pick and choose upgrades in treatments and their cost, which I was really impressed with. You can really tell the salon as well as Kristen really cared about me, my hair, and my budget. The result was EXACTLY what I wanted, Kristen was incredible, and I will definitely be coming back.

Do not go here if you want to go blonde. Do yourself a favor, and spend the extra money at Studio RK. Over there, they always get your hair right. Don't be manipulated by the "zen" atmosphere at Artistry. They don't know anything about hair color...unfortunately. And if you get you hair dyed, don't plan on making any dinner reservations after, because you might be walking out of that salon with hair dye stained on your forehead. However, I will have to give them credit for an outstanding staff. My favorite person is the young girl at the front desk with glasses and nike shoes. She is very caring, and it shows. It actually pains me to write this review, but I believe that the people should know the truth about their hair practice. Providing me with a refund doesn't mean that my experience should be swept under the rug. They need some more experience in the blonde balayage aspect, but if a nice scalp massage makes up for their mistakes, then this is the place for you.

During my first appointment for a haircut, they didn't even finish my haircut after over an hour cutting it! They told me to come back because they had another customer waiting! I was so shocked! I left with short AND long hair! I have no idea why anybody would accept that! I love the salon, but I had to go back to get my haircut finished and the lady drying my hair burned my scalp even after I asked her to lower the temperature because I don't want to dehydrate my hair. I PAID $65 FOR THIS TREATMENT AND WALKED OUT!

It was clean and well decorated. The staff were all very nice and accommodating. My hair was cut by Kristin and she provided helpful suggestions as to the style that I should cut my hair. I have long curly hair and was interested in a V cut with long layers, but she recommended that I did not do a V cut as it can often look choppy with curly hair. In the end she was able to return some life to my curls! Warning! They are not able to accept card tips so make sure you bring cash! They do provide an ATM machine in the corner but remember there is a $2.99 fee to use this, so ya just bring cash ;)

There was a miscommunication and she blow dried my hair and gave it to me as a complementary instead of charging me for it even though I offered to pay for the blow dry. The atmosphere is very nice as you enter however they NEED some experienced stylist.. We were in town from Buffalo I went in for hair cut and pedicure. Explaining that I wanted someone who could cut curly hair and with much reassuring I was told there was someone .. well after telling the stylist what I wanted I had to go 2 days in a row because there wasn't time for a hair cut and pedicure in the same day. I was informed that I didn't want my hair shorter on the top even though I did!! The stylist also took a big brush and styled my curly hair.

Rachel did such an amazing job on my ombre color correction! She knew exactly how to get the look I wanted, and was honest about not having the specific rose gold color I wanted in stock. She offered to book me a separate appointment to tone my hair after they ordered the product that would achieve my specific look instead of trying to whip up something make shift that was not quite what I wanted. The ombre balayage she did in preparation for my color is perfect! Rachel is a real pro, highly recommend her!
