Not a great experience at all, will never go back. Was excited to have a great hair wash and men’s cut. Never got my hair washed (my favorite part of any hair cut), felt like the ‘stylist’ had no clue what she was doing while cutting my hair. Didn’t go through and texture my hair, follow any sort of pattern that my hair had already had. Very upset. Do not recommend in any way.

I feel devastated and disheartened. I also have pictures chronicling this experience. I went to this salon because of availability. They were able to fit me right in and had good reviews here as well as being In close proximity. Over the past 6 mo I'd been growing out roots, getting baby lights and modest low lights with root smudge on my dark ash blonde hair. I explained to the stylist Daniel that I wanted to be brighter around my face and wanted highlights placed in my t-bone area which is around hairline and my part. I had close to 8 weeks of regrowth and no longer wanted balayage blurred root effect. He said he would have to do whole head and recommended low lights to break it up. Given I'd been getting subtle lowlights I was open so long as they natural and things proceeded. The salon was dirty with hair everywhere which should have been red flag. He did not section off hair properly. He would foil them remove foils as he kept losing track of which should be highlight/low light after application. I questioned why he was doing all my hair and not leaving any of my hair out in between which is the idea of the highlight considering I'd spent the past 6mo growing my natural hair out to blend with my current regimen of babylight/ low light. All my hard work gone when I noticed this half way through. End result was thick dark stripes not blended natural lowlights that were not balanced and placed at random and bright blond some to the root, some as much as a half and inch below. I did not even want to be seen in public. I told him I should not have to pay the $340 for this and he told me I had to as he performed a service. I expressed this was not what I wanted or expected. I asked for a mgr. He said the owners out of town celebrating anniversary. He gives my 15% off, I pay $290 for something I am sick about. He tells me he can fix it no problem the next day free of charge as he wants me satisfied I come back with reservation. I do not know how this gets fixed. He applies a safe color removal but now the stripes are orange. He then tells me no worries he will refoil the areas and tone. I am concerned about refoiling hair that has been lightened as under the dark is light and inevitably will be grabbing other light hair too. He says it will be fine. I get rinsed. Knowing I'm affraid for my hairs integrity he says he giving me a soap bath which I know is a bleach bath. After oleplex more toning and conditioning and shampoo I go back to his station. He cut hair in between for other client whose hair was all over chair i am now sitting on. My hair is wet,stringy and like spaghetti. I put my hands over my face and was sick. I told him my hair is ruined and that I can see it falling out. Normally it brushes through easily since it is fine and strait. It is matted and hard to comb. He says just my end were dry. But it all the way up. He says no no hair is in brush but it is and all over my Cape and pants. He dries my hair and adds serums. My hair was stiff with no mouse or hairspray. I wanted to leave mid blow dry. He said it is nothing 3 hair treatments can't fix. I still have discolored striping and some hair was painted to root while others left as much as a half inch of root creating the look of grown out tape-ins. Now I have damaged hair that is not cohesive with different levels of root. I leave upset. He texts me the next day apologizing for my experience and wants to give me hair treatments for free. I spent a combined total 8 hours of my life and $290 for a full head of bleached hair w orangey highlights and some weird roots which was never the goal. I feel robbed. I also had to throw out the black pants I wore day 2 because as he was painting on foils it splattered all over me. I went to ulta and purchased over $60 worth hair mask and product to help. I did them today and used a special tone corrective shampoo to restore softness and maneagability. I am out $350 and a pair of pants, lost 8 hours of time, lost 6mo of hair growth and the only thing I can say is he did a good job on the hair trim.

I experienced this so many times that they closed before 7pm. They did it again like today. I walked like far from where I live to go here just to get new haircut but I only get another disappointment. You can see from my picture, they’re supposed to close at 7pm but my iWatch was still at 6.07pm. They shouldn’t close earlier because most people only have time to get haircut after office hours. That is ridiculous. I mean . If it was by some really professionally stylist and store was very high clad then . I’ll be okay . These guys are great - very knowledgeable and helpful. I had tons of questions and they were able to keep up. In addition, they helped me out selecting a post care regime after I asked for some help - which was invaluable considering I was leaving the country for a few months. I went to have a haircut today and even if the staff was polite and friendly their job was not what I asked. When I arrived I asked for the prices and they said it would be $38 for the haircut plus an extra charge if I wanted a blow dry, I said I didn't want the blow dry and I would only take the haircut. They wet my hair since they said it was necessary for the haircut, for which I didn't have any problem, but then when they asked what haircut I wanted they said they wouldn't be able to do the complete haircut unless they blow dry it because they couldn't texturize it if it was wet. For which I would have to pay the extra $40 for the blow dry. This is the first time I got a haircut at the US and I'm not familiar with the prices but I didn't expect that I would have to pay almost $80 for a haircut. I guess it was my fault for don't speak up at the moment and let the hairdresser did an incomplete haircut. At the end they did a discount from 38 to 32 for being a Disney employee but still I don't think it's ok to do incomplete jobs just because they look for charge more.

I read great reviews and was very excited to go here to get my hair trimmed. I have a pixie cut, and was just looking to get it cleaned up a bit. While the staff was extremely friendly, I must say that the result of my cut was just awful. The back was cut WAY shorter than I asked and the parts that weren’t basically shaved off were left very choppy and uneven. It looked like my hair was cut with a machete by a half blind guy. I also had baby hairs left on my neck that were longer than my actual hair and gave it a very unfinished look. I will not be going back. Perhaps they have more experience with longer hair, where mistakes are easily hidden, but I was appalled with how mine turned out.

I went in to have my hair colored so that it would be all the same color. The top of my hair was very light blonde, and the underneath was a light brown/dirty blonde. I specified that I did not want to go any darker, and that I wanted to be completely blonde. The woman told me she would use a toner to make it lighter, but my hair ended up being a dark brown color which I was completely shocked and heartbroken over. I then had to pay nearly $130 for a toner, no cut or style at all, which is absolutely outrageous to me. The salon itself was not cleaned up the way it should be, the floors were all filled with hair clippings and the sink in which my hair was washed was also filled with hair. My last frustration was that the woman finishing my hair stopped helping me and proceeded giving someone else a haircut. I had made this appointment ahead of time and have not been asking to wait for someone else to be given a cut when I had made an appointment. I am very disappointed and will not be going back.

I had my hair cut done in walmart two days ago and had an awful experience. The worst that I’ve ever had. But Daniel, the miracle worker that he is, received me without having an appointment. I was in need of a root touch up and I found this salon online near my hotel. I walked in at 9:30am on this Saturday morning (without an appointment) and was greeted by Daniel who was my stylist. He expertly matched my hair color and left me with the best cut and style I’ve had in a very long time. I live an hour and a half away from Orlando, but I’d be willing to come back for his services again! The entire staff was great and their coffee is the best!!

I went to this place because it had good reviews... don’t trust them! I had the worst experience in my life. I came asking for a very distinct red color that I already have in my hair, it just needed to be refreshed. I showed multiple pictures, picked the desired color in their sample book and even provided a formula that the stylist barely even looked at. I ended up with a diarrhea yellow-brown... when I asked to fix it they tried telling me this was exactly what I picked! Only when they held a lock of my hair next to their sample they admitted it wasn’t anywhere near. They re-did it. Now I have a lighter diarrhea color... I literally started crying over my ruined hair. They tried to convince me I’m crazy and this was the color I wanted. Finally the manager said “I know this is not the color you wanted, but it looks good and we won’t charge you... for the blow dry(!)” What kind of sick joke is that?! They didn’t even think to offer to at least not charge me for ruining my hair, but no - I got a free blow dry! I was so devastated in the moment that I didn’t even fight - I couldn’t. And they made sure to take full advantage of that. Please, if you care about your hair at all or your nerves - never ever ever go to this place for anything!

My girlfriend has come here several times and was extremely pleased. She recommended this place for me which I was skeptical about since I'm a man and typically get a cut at a local barber shop. I'll try anything once and made an appointment. People are super friendly and bilingual (Spanish too). Place is clean and modern and prices are very reasonable. I can't say enough good things about my visit. I have very curly hair (anyone who is planning on going, you can google "hair type Curly 3B" if you aren't familiar with hair types). I have always wanted straight hair, so I have tried relaxers, which never worked and destroyed my hair. Manually straightening my natural hair took 2+ hours, which left me dreading washing my hair. I heard about "Japanese Straightening/Yuko Straightening" online, which was supposed to permanently straighten your hair. I found this salon online and booked an appointment - it was a fantastic experience! Daniel was incredible. The staff is bilingual as well. The treatment was not painful, and was actually a lot healthier and nourishing for my hair than a relaxer. The atmosphere of the salon felt very "high end" and I was well taken care of.. and sure enough, I can wash my hair now and have it dry straight without having to straighten it myself. Daniel taught me a lot about caring for my hair and helped me find an inexpensive aftercare plan. I highly recommend this salon!

The lady that did my wife's trim, color and highlights (Alex) is a magician with superb knowledge and skills. She analyzes the condition of your hair and provides suggestions based on this and your own unique skin tone/color it was 100% on target for my wife.The price for service is more that matched by the result however if you are looking for a salon that may be cheaper but runs people through like an assembly line this is not the place to go. You will be handled with care, not rushed and will surely want to return. We live in St Augustine Florida and from this point on will make a day trip here for all of our hair or other salon type needs. My wife and I cannot imagine going anywhere else and we have tried a bunch. I honestly cannot remember the last time my wife's hair has looked like this. Try a real professional not worried about pushing volume based numbers for quotas you will be more than pleased you did so.

I came to this salon for a Color correction. I had about three colors in my head and was devastated with the way Iooked. My hair is light brown originally and now it was three diferent shades of burned blonde. Daniel came to rescue and the results were amazing. Not only my hair was no further damaged, but it looks healthy again. I almost cried tears of joy! The whole staff was super nice and they even gave me a free bottle of their brand shampoo. I recommend this place wholeheartedly.

Got my hair highlighted the day before thanksgiving and after corrections my hair was still a disaster. I was so upset and didn’t want to be seen because of how harsh, Orange and splotchy it was. I made an apt with Armandeus salon thanksgiving morning for today and got a reply almost immediately. Daniel completely fixed and color corrected my entire head of hair and added highlights like I originally wanted done. I am so happy I found this salon and can’t believe I was going anywhere else before. Daniel took the time to ensure he fixed my diaster of a hair with minimal damage. Daniel added more blonde for me after he finished just to make sure I was satisfied. Everyone in the salon was so kind. Like many others, I came to this place because of all the positive reviews online, but reality is not like what was described. The hair dresser was rude, pointing at me while he as speaking with another customer that just walked in. He rushed the whole cut, and made it as if he wanted to get rid of me so he can move on to the next cut. He accidentally cut himself, and said "happens all the time here". Clearly he is unable to cut a hair safely for a customer or for himself. Armandeus has NO understanding of customer service and customer experience. Honestly, my hair cut is not even difficult to cut, but he managed to mess it up. Trust me, if you want someone to do your hair right, go somewhere else.

I'm shocked to see even 1 positive comment. I had just popped in to find out if they offered tinting for brows and lashes, and prices for a blow out. I was told that they do provide brow and lash tinting. They said YES they do both brow and lash tinting and the price of a blow out was $30. I made an appointment, the first visit was disappointing because they really DO NOT offer lash tinting and the blow out was more than the price that I had been told. I did schedule another appointment for a blow out and the price was not what I was quote, not what I had been charged before, but even more, and, my mistake, Daniel had told me that he was a colorist. I had seen the prices fluctuate, so I had called prior to the color appt to get a solid price and told them that I had already been charged 3 different amounts for blow outs. The "price sheet" that they speak of in other responses, weren't followed. The day of my color appointment, less than an hour prior to my appointment, when I called, I was told about $100. Blisters

The two experiences that I have had at Armandeus Hair Salon have been absolutely wonderful. I came in for a highlight and cut with Daniel, and we decided to get some darker colors as well as highlights in my hair, since I had been over-processed in the past. He did an amazing job and my color came out beautiful. I came back two weeks later on his recommendation of their product 'hair plastic surgery.' This product will straighten your hair, remove frizz and overall create a smooth appearance. It has been worth every penny as I do not even have to dry my usually untamable frizz-mess.
