Unfortunately you can't give negative stars on google because that's what this place deserves. By far the worst experience I have ever had in a beauty salon. Ingrid (the instructor) is rude and completely unprofessional. Do not, under any circumstances go to this "salon". You will have a terrible experience. Not only will they disregard what you ask for and do their own thing. They will charge you a ton of money for terrible products. They will not educate you on the maintenance your service requires, and then when your color is COMPLETELY gone after 2 washes, (I don't even use regular shampoo, I use cleansing conditioner) they will tell you it's another $40 dollars for them to fix it. Worst customer service ever. They don't even use enough product in your hair, as I had a bunch of random, patchy blonde chunks. Don't let the low prices fool you, they will butcher your hair and won't even fix it. After I said that I wouldn't let them touch my hair again did she say that she'd fix it for free, she's so smug. I have never said this to anybody but that woman should be fired. That salon is unprofessional, run down, dirty, you will sit there forever and have a million people work on your hair. If you have the slightest amount of love and respect for your hair you will not go to this terrible chop shop. I walked in with beautiful hair and I left looking ridiculous, and pretty pissed. Ingrid was so rude, newsflash Ingrid, in the world of customer service the customer is always right. You should have at least given me some of my money back, then maybe I would have rated it 2 stars. This is why this place has terrible reviews. People please disregard the scarce good reviews and listen to the bad ones. I believed the good ones, and look where it got me, writing another bad review. They are teaching the students to do whatever they want to people's hair, and be rude to them when you have a problem with your hair. Awful, disgusting, and unprofessional.Your hair does not need this place.

Made an appointment for my elderly mother for a perm. I explained that my perm rods are in storage because I moved recently. Get to the appointment 45 mins from home and they tell me they only do relaxers because no one does perms anymore so they don't teach the girls to do them. Find a real cosmetology school if you want to pass the state boards.

I had my manicure done by Diana and I wanted as natural as possible and she listened and aware that my cuticle are sensitive and she was gentle. She try to be accommodating in her broken English. Definitely will return again!

These are the only people who never dissapoint. I commute far and will stop by any convenient salon on the way or even a haircuttery or something; is usually a mistake or a slight meh. I always come out of Affinity looking soo good whether for a regular cut or they've fix some disaster another salon did. I think everyone should come here.

I came in requesting to change my style( first time ever really going short so I was a little nervous) and they were so kind and patient with me. More importantly when I saw the style I was more than pleased, I was actually happy and not worried about such a drastic change. I will definitely come back to this salon. Thanks to all!! I came to Orlando for my brother's wedding. My daughter was the flower girl. I called and made an appointment for her, my son and myself to get a haircut and style. When I got there they were ready and even worked in my other son for a haircut and style. They were very professional and did a great job! My only complaint is that they are a bit pricey, but I blame myself for that for not asking about prices before they did the work. If I knew they were gonna charge $30 for a boys haircut, I may have looked elsewehere for them. But overall a great experience. I would recommend them.

If i could rate with no stars i would. I think that this salon is unprofessional and lacking in skills. The students were nice, but overall this experience was a disaster. I came in with a wedding party to get our hair done, we anticipated to be out by 2pm, there were 6 of us and they told us that we would definitely be out in time, considering we wanted to get pictures done before the wedding. We didnt leave until 4, and we got charged extra because it took so long. What i dont understand is that we didnt want to be there that long, so why would we be charged extra for their mistake?? Not to mention the girl doing my hair had to stop half way through to get someone finish it because she wasnt sure what she was doing. I understand this is a school and that students are learning, but i also dont think we should be charged the same amount as a professional salon. I have never had my makeup done at a salon before but i found it to be extremely uncleanly to use the same brushes on everyones face, and also found that they put way to much makeup on each one of us, and then charged us extra because of the extra makeup (that none of us wanted). The bride was charged more money for her hair because it was complex (her hair was curled and left down, didnt realize that was complex). One more thing: they ran out of eyelash extensions (which fell off within the first hour, after being told they could last hours) and i had to drive across the street to buy more so that they could charge us extra for them to apply them. I was never compensated for having to supply them with eyelashes! Overall pretty sad experience, i did call to talk to a manager about how terrible the experience was and after asking to talk to the GM, i was told they would call me later (never received a call). Therefore i think this salon is unprofessional, and lacking in skills.

I was very disappointed with my experience. I wasn't seen until a half hour after past my scheduled appointment time. There weren't enough chairs in the waiting room. I had called prior to get a price quote for a haircut and was told $10-15 for a trim depending on length of the hair. I was charged twice this amount (I had a quick 20-minute trim, my hair is medium length). No instructor checked my hair after the student was finished.

I just got hair cut two days ago and my experience was the best. I had been growing out my hair since I was young and never gave it more than a trim. I decided to get it cut because as a mixed 16yr old- I need to learn to take care of my own hair. The school took me in as a walk in and had their stylist Ryo did my hair. Other places flinched at my curly hair but Affinity knew what to do. The stylist was super nice and comforted me as he chopped 15 inches off my head. I came out looking great and learning alot.

I really had my doubts if Kenisha could do my hair or not as she asked for instructions from her teacher. But after I got the Keratin treatment and she flat Ironed my hair my hair due lasted three weeks! I went there three weeks ago i have washed my hair several times since the treatment and my hair still looks good. I will be back! Thanks Mike for reffering me here.

Me and my daughter went today for first time . They treat us like loyalty and not only that she was soo happy with her hair for me that is priceless, also I went just to do re touch and I ended getting full highlights with Sumita , she took her time and make sure that my hair was perfect, then Yohanka blow dry my hair and I left happy and satisfy. I was impressed with the team work . I made another appointment to bring this time my mom. Totally recommend give them the chance.

It is a great family like environment. Everyone wants you to succeed. If you want to be prepared and succeed as a nail technician, Affinity Hair Academy would be a great choice.
