My kids went in for haircuts, the stylists were super friendly and weren't afraid to ask me questions throughout their cuts. They fixed anything that I thought needed fixing and were very nice about it, and didn't get defensive. The price was right for about $13 a person. My kids don't like getting their hair cut, but they had nothing but good things to say when it was done.

It admittedly had been a few years since I made it inside a salon, and my hair was in rough shape. In no time at all, she had washed/ conditioned, cut and styled it into something much more manageable. Not too chatty, and very skilled. Got my hair colored here and never again will I. The lady was very obviously rushing through my hair to get it done so she could go on home or whatever she had planned to finish her day with. Very friendly but still had a slight attitude. then she wanted to trim my hair but didn’t even act like she wanted to do the color on it. Proceeded to tell me my hair felt “ healthy” and then told me she needed to blow dry it out so she could actually tell me if it needed trimmed. Didn’t offer anything else to me, not a style not a little bit of product to tame it since she just blow dried it.

Had to go back and have hair redone it was uneven and not cut right. Also I wanted 3 kids cuts done and asked to schedule an appointment so we didn't have to drive 35mins in to not be able to get their hair cuts and the lady over the phone refused to schedule them because at that current time they was NOT busy even though it's 1:40pm now and we weren't able to come in until 4pm which by that time there could of been a possibility of them being busy.

Feel bad for that company because I know they probably have good employees but the stylist I had was horrible, I would give zero stars but looks like you need to give one to write a review. I have had very inconsistent haircuts. Sabrina is usually great, but she recently gave me a haircut with uneven, very short layers and didn't check to make sure the layers were the same length. Bernie cut my bangs above my eyebrows, even when I asked for long bangs and brought an image. I would recommend visiting a nearby salon whose employees listen to you.

The picture should say it all. However it doesn’t. Before she even finished cutting my hair I said I was unhappy. She blew me off and said there were other people waiting and she couldn’t do anything more to help me. Unless I can back the following day. I ended up losing 8 inches of hair over this cut. My hair was incredibly damaged from her dull scissors. I called corporate to get refunded. However the refund didn’t cover getting it fixed elsewhere or losing so much unplanned hair.

about half way into a simple bang trim I got the feeling my stylist was winging it. She refused to cut them how I wanted, looking back it was probably because she didn't know how. Long story short I went to an actual salon the next day and had them fixed. The best part was the nicer salon was cheaper!

Worst place ever. My boyfriend and I went together once and the stylist’s hands smelled so bad like cigarettes I had to hold my breath. Second time my boyfriend went and it was so uneven and not blended so he had to have Lyndsey redo it(only one you can trust there). Can never get in with Lyndsey though so he ended up with a horrible haircut again this last time. We won’t be going back. Overpriced for the lack of skill.

Now I know this is a chain low cost establishment. However, there is never an excuse for poor service and poor attitude. I sent my 17 year old son there for a last minute haircut for a new job he is starting. The stylist Ashley was overtly rude to him. She completely disregarded his request and hacked his hair for five minute. She refused to engage in any conversation with him while he was in the chair. She acted like her presence was an inconvenience. It is literally the worst haircut I have seen on any of my boys. But what makes it worse is the complete lack of customer service. Teenagers are not second class citizens. Many have manners and better yet money so it would be a good idea to treat them with respect. We will never step inside here again.

Horrible. If you want a blunt straight across cut with no dimension whatsoever then this is the place for you. It looked how my mother cut my hair with a pair of kitchen shears when I was five year old. Not to mention the girl who "manages" it (first chair on the right when you walk in) has an absolutely heinous attitude and the worst case of RBF I have ever seen. Oh and the five star review from Ericka is because she works there.

Not the best solon I've been to. They do not wash your hair when you are there for just a haircut. I assumed when you go anywhere to get your haircut that would include a wash and condition but that is not the case here. Not very personable staff. Cheap though.

I had the worst hair cut I have ever had at the 11th and Cornhusker salon but I found the hairdresser who has been cutting my hair at the N. 27th St. Walmart and Paige, corrected the haircut for me and I really appreciate it so much!! Paige is floating to different locations for a while but will be back at her regular location on 11th and Cornhusker in about a month! If you want a really good haircut for a good price, see Paige.

These ladies are good at what they do. Always get me in quick and I'm always blown away how fast they finish and get me out. They save in their computer exactly how you had your hair cut the previous time making it easy to have them repeat the process again next time. And being located inside Walmart, it's great! You always need something from the store so now you can grab it and get your hair cut at the same time.

I have gotten my ten minute, $15.00, haircut from Cost Cutters for years. Most of the time I go on Tuesday to get the extra discount of $9.95 myself and so I can leave the stylist a $5.00 tip. We both win!! On Tuesday, March 5, @ 4:40pm I arrived for a haircut but I was told by the stylist that she didn’t have time to cut my hair as they were closing at 5:00pm now. She has cut my hair many times and she knew how long it takes. Five to ten minutes top, I remind you. I politely said ok and returned to my car. I noticed she had someone sitting in the chair, with their back toward me, she was standing by. So my thoughts were ok she was cutting someone else’s hair. And that is what she wanted me to see. When I returned to my car I noticed another stylist came out of the back room and began sweeping up her station and so did the lady that I talked to. She wasn’t cutting hair at all. It was at 4:40pm she comes and locks the doors. At 4:41pm another car pulls up and goes to the door and returns to the car and leaves. While I am sitting there observing this episode whoever she conveniently had in the seat was twirling around in it. It didn’t look like a child as I would have expected, but maybe a teenager or young adult. Again, “Not Cutting Hair” as the stylist had made it appear. I noticed on the website that the store advertised a “6:00pm closing” on Tuesdays. What’s up with that and also your sign in the window says, “Help Wanted!” You have help but apparently they don’t want to work! I will not be going back for a hair cut of any price, at a Cost Cutter Store, if this is how your stores are run. I can’t believe all stores are run this way! Sorry, I don’t usually vent my frustrations. I live in a small town community that wonders why we have no businesses that survive! This is one of those Situations that it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out the answer to.

I really want to share my experience because I hope it can prevent someone from my mistake- Maybe this place is good at giving generic hair cuts - but please do not go in there typing to get something different or intricately layered. I wanted a lob haircut. The hair is meant to be stacked in the back and come to the front in a smooth angle. They chopped my hair up with nothing even about it. Each side is longer from the other. My left side is almost a full inch shorter than the right. She attempted the layer the back but but the layering was nothing like the effect a lob is supposed to give. My hair is a uneven mess. When she was shampooing my hair she didn't rinse it all out in the back I could feel bubbles all in my scalp - but I'm timid and didn't want to worry about bubbles but this was the first sign If something doesn't seem right speak up. She was also pulling my hair when she was doing the "laying" and was half paying attention to everyone else in the salon. I am not a picky person but when half my hair is shorter than the other, the back is uneven and not stacked(what I asked for, my hair was pulled, the shampoo was not washed out all the way.... it's very disheartening.. especially when you worked hard to grown your hair :( It was just very unprofessional and you can 100 percent see the difference from this and a more professional salon. Anyways - I don't recommend this place if you want a sleek cut. If you just need ends cut off maybe? Even than I don't know if I would suggest it considering she gave me one side shorter than the other. I didn't return because the hair cut was THAT bad and that uneven it only would have resulted in more needing to get cut off and that is not what I wanted.

I have been coming to your store to get my hair cut for as long as I can remember along with my parents too. Well the past 4 or 5 times I have came in you guys have always managed to mess up something that I wanted done rather it be a color, a hair cut, my eyebrows, etc. Well after this last time coming in I am thoroughly fed up and will NOT be coming there for services anymore. My eyebrows were uneven and like always, the lady doing my hair didn't listen to a THING I said and just did whatever she wanted with my hair leaving my layers VERY choppy, which I specifically asked not to do and my bangs absolutely butchered!! Some parts of my hair were uneven and I had to trim it up/fix it myself once it was dried. I'm really angry about this, hair doesn't grow back overnight so now I have to live with my hair being like this for a couple months.

The manager cut my hair & did a horrible job. She tried telling me that I don't have thick hair, I have product build up-yet I only use shampoo & conditioner, no other products. I wore my hair up all summer & once it grew out enough, I went to a true stylist last week. She told me I had the thickest hair she'd ever cut. She told me over & over how bad the cut was. It was one length in the front & awkwardly longer in the back. There were long uncut sections throughout. It was a mess! I learned my lesson... always invest in a quality hair cut.

After being assured that this store does balayage, I made an appointment. Discussed with my stylist that all I wanted was my existing balayage to be brought up, as my hair had grown out by about 4". (My mistake for not bringing a photo...I assumed that bc my hair already looked like I wanted it to, she wouldn't need one!) Seeing that she was only going to use bleach and blend up into my natural roots, I asked her to blend into my ends and not to directly bleach them (I didn't want fried ends as they were already bleached!) I have no idea where she went wrong... She literally bleached an entire strip along all my midstrands... didn't use any balayage V-shaped techniques... just blobbed bleach all throughout my midstrand. So then I ended up with dark ash blond roots, a strip of brassy gold bleach, then a strip of the blended portion of my old balayage that then blended into highlights. So dark ash blonde, then bright gold, then ash blond, then frosty blonde...Not pretty. Asked her to fix it and she tried to tell me that this is what I asked for and how she thought it was weird that I wanted that. 1) Definitely not what I asked for and 2) If she thought it was weird... why didn't she have a conversation with me to clarify?! Anyways, between her and the two managers, no one could decide on how to fix my hair to look like the picture I brought up. And to get it even close to the photo, they wanted to charge me more money... because according to them, this was my fault for asking for what the stylist did. Needless to say, I had to pay a professional to color correct my hair. I will never be going back.
