I went to Zandi K Salon in Denver West last Saturday. It was late afternoon and busy. Clearly, many of the customers were regulars (mostly women). The staff was courteous and professional. Christian was running about ten minutes late (I was the last appointment of the day) and I was kept informed of this. Christian gave me a terrific haircut and a natural coloring to get rid of much of the grey without looking dyed. Highly recommend.

Not only is she the sweetest most fun chick ever, she always listens and knows exactly what i'm looking for. She is a magician with my hair color and texture and I have been referring all of my friends to her and Zandi K ever since. My cut and color always look great and more importantly they STAY looking great as my hair grows. Absolutely recommend!

I was devastated after getting my long hair cut here, and want to cry every time I pass a mirror. All I can do is wait for the choppy, uneven layers to grow out. If I spend some time working on the style with lots of products and a curling tool, it is okay for a few hours, I can conceal the damage fairly well before the shape reverts back into the bell-shape it is. As if the cut isn't bad enough, the color was several shades darker than the stylist presented --- it was nearly black bob with longer, uneven layers around the face --- absolutely the most disappointed I have ever been with a haircut/color in my entire life. The stylist was very professional, I just wish that she had communicated more, and we were absolutely on the same page with length and color. Ladies with long hair, THINK TWICE BEFORE LETTING ANYONE AT YOUR HAIR WITH A SCISSORS! Going forward, I will never allow any more cutting than a simple trim. I appreciate the stylists who in the past, have refused to cut more than a couple inches, and who counsel the customer about the potential impact of a very dramatic change in hair length. This hairstyle/color adds several years to my look!! :0(

What I wanted was really simple, i always get my hair done the same way everywhere i go and I'm always very happy with it, I had a picture of me with the hair colors i wanted. My hair dresser seemed like she really didnt want to do what I wanted, it felt like we were almost arguing about it, I was trying not to cry the whole time I was in the chair because nothing was what I was asking for. I saved up money for a month to get my hair done and it didnt come out how i wanted at all. My hair was pretty much the same color as it was when I came in, and I was going for a drastic change so my hair got fried for no reason. The bang cut was pretty, my hair was pretty when it was done but it wasnt what I wanted at all and every time I look in the mirror I feel sad. It's hard for me to leave a bad reveiw because I'm nice, but everything about the experience was horrible. The salon its self had hair everywhere, wasnt kept up on sweeping up hair, it was clumped up on the mat when you walk in, super florescent lighting, not a relaxing environment at all. When I walked in I felt bad vibes right away and wanted to leave but I had been super excited for my appointment and wanted it done before the festival I was going to. I picked the salon because it was Aveda, because every aveda salon iv ever been to is amazing. This is the first time iv felt heart broken about my hair.

Christian is lovely. I wanted an icy cool white blonde, and he gave me exactly what I imagined. The picture of my hair after he highlighted it was even reposted by Zandi K. So if you want an icy blonde you should definitely go to Christian because it is like his specialty. He even has icy blonde hair, so he totally understands. Then I later came to him with choppy bad layers and he fixed them up and blended them perfectly, without sacrificing a ton of length. So I was super happy with that as well. He also has a lovely charming personality and I look forward to my appointments with him! 10/8 would recommend!

The salon is always a clean, welcoming environment and the services provided always exceed expectations. They've earned my loyalty and I'd happily refer anybody to them.

I used to be a regular costumer, but not anymore after I colored my hair. I mad a hair consultation before I color my hair with one of the hair stylist. and she promised me that Aveda color will give my hair extra moisturizing and I will get the same color that I choose. so I decided to have an Ash medium brown but I got red hair plus my hair becomes so dry and difficult to be styled. I really regret that I've colored my hair.

RICKI is the bomb at Zandi K Salon. I go often due to those pesky ultra blonds that keep growing back. Consequently, I spend a lot of money and time at Zandi K. I’ve had several hairstylists but what I really like about Ricki is she understands and delivers the total salon experience. She is exceptional with the hair coloring, cut and styling. Where she really sets herself apart is understanding the importance of the tinier details and how those details factor into a stellar customer service experience. She’s very nurturing when washing my hair and gives THE MOST awsome head and hand massages. She’s very perceptive and is conversational when the customer wants to be conversational and respectful when the customer wants to use this experience for quiet R & R.

Went here a little over two weeks and was extremely pleased with everything! Mallory was my stylist, and she did an amazing job. She asked me many questions and listened to what I wanted for a haircut and style. She took the time to help me with ideas, showed me pictures, and really took her time. She made artwork out of my chopped up, sad look and I left with an exciting new haircut! She also walked me through every step of styling it to make my life easier, and I am able to actually style it at home, easily and quickly. I also bought some great aveda products that she explained each benefit of, and I love them, including their smell. It is a little on the pricey side, but as I have learned the hard way, you have to pay good money these days for quality products, customer service, and a great haircut. I will definitely be using this salon as my regular place to go, and always ask for Mallory.

I tried Zandi K out of pure convenience of location and I have found the most perfect hairstylist. I was welcomed with high praise by one of the owners and I opted to try one of their 'apprentice' hairstylists and was blown away! I have returned many times, I do not plan on going anywhere else unless it is to follow Jeremiah if he ever tries to leave! I have had many, many great experiences here. It is friendly, clean, fun, chic, comfortable. Jeremiah has never lead me astray - even when we tried a hair cut I wasn't sure of, it turned out better than I even expected! Only once did I have a less than desirable experience, when getting my eyebrows waxed, some baby powder was accidentally spilled on my black shirt. No big deal!! It is not enough to deter me from providing Zandi K an excellent review.

I highly recommend Christian as he is the best! I had to find a new stylist after my regular one suddenly relocated last summer. I hadn’t been to Zandi K in over 10 years and before it was an Aveda salon. I decided to try them again mainly because of their convenient location in Denver West and extended hours. I am really glad I did. Christian is now cutting my hair and for both of my kids too! Christian excels at color and cuts that maintain their style in between appointments. 5 Stars for Christian!

Worst experience I've ever had in a salon. Reading that this place has really good reviews, I thought I would give it a go. I wanted my grown out roots touched up so my hair was all one color blonde, the lady put bleach in my hair and then went on her lunch break for 20-30 mins while there was bleach in my hair, like ???! I'm already naturally blonde so my hair turned WHITE by the time she returned. While she was sectioning off my hair to bleach the roots she pulled my hair every single time to the point where my eyes were starting to water. On to washing out the bleach, she burned my head with hot water about 30 different times and I told her every single time the water was super hot but it still happened every time after telling her. At this point I've just accepted my fate. She put toner in my hair twice to try to turn it back to blonde but only left it in for about two minutes and then on to burning my head again with hot water. So my hair is still pure white after her trying to tone it. She told me to come in for a $100 color correction for her screwing my hair up like HAHA I don't ever want to come near this place ever again! While my hair was wet and still not thoroughly brushed through she took the scissors to my hair. I told her I only wanted the ends trimmed, and she took off about 3+ inches. Since my hair was wet and tangled, it came out incredibly lopsided and uneven, and to make it look not so bad she also started layering my ends, and I told her about 3-4 times before she took the scissors I wanted my hair just the one length it is. My hair is so unevenly cut it looks like my little sister cut my hair. I ended up spending $195 just to immediately go to Sally's Beauty Supply after the salon. After leaving Zandi K I looked in the mirror in my car and noticed she didn't wash all the conditioner out so I had crusty conditioner and hair dye around my hair line and face. They make you sign a policy agreement before you start that there is no refunds, I've never seen that at a salon before, thought it was odd. Now I can understand why.

I had a less than satisfactory haircut yesterday morning and so I went in and he fixed it for me. I love it! He also colored my hair after an impulsive decision on my part. Zandi-K is an amazing salon with an incredible staff! You're pleasantly greeted from the front desk as soon as you walk in the door, or call to set up an appointment. In addition, you may request text appointment reminders, which is very helpful. I looked up "the Top 10 Salons in Denver and surrounding areas" on the internet, and Zandi-K was one of the top salons mentioned. I took a chance and was introduced to Brenna, Master Stylist at the Denver West location, who has been my lifesaver for my hair care. I have been very impressed with her creativity, her great suggestions for styles and products, and she actually listens to her clients' needs and wishes. Brenna has been styling my hair for a while now. She has a very positive and happy personality, is incredibly knowledgeable in her field, and is professional and accommodating.
