Unfortunately I’ve given Veda two chances and they have disappointed both times. My first cut turned out way too short and Pam spent a total of 10 cutting my hair and did not listen to what I wanted. Jump to 3 months later I went in and saw Melea. She is a very nice person and I had high hopes. I wanted a lob, with minimal length taken off the front. I now have a short bob with tons of short layers, honestly I’m embarrassed on how it turned out. So here’s to hoping it grows out fast!

Tracy is amazing. She has that rare artistic ability to know how to make you look good. She has styled me, my husband and my grandson (who is studying to be a dancer and had his hair dyed silver). She takes time to listen, and to ask if that is how I want it. I enjoy her positive energy, and she gives great massages. I come away feeling happy and glamorous. WORST HAIR EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I have absolutely never had such a bad experience. It looks like a 2 year old cut my hair. The color is NOT what I asked for, nor would it be flattering on any human being with taste. They better offer to fix it AND give me my money back when I call in the morning. They should train their stylists. This is unacceptable for a $175 cut and colour. It's even unacceptable for a $20 cut and colour. Don't go here.

I had purchased some shampoo and conditioner from this location and I was not happy with the results. I read the reciept and it said they will do an exchange/return or store credit if you suffer from an allergic reaction, which was not the case for me. I brought the bottles back nearly full and asked if I could exchange them and they said even though it's not their policy they'd be happy to. An excellent example of going the extra mile to make the customer happy. I ended up buying products that cost twice as much, so it's a win for them too. Thank you ladies, from me and my hair!

I went for a massage two weeks ago mainly to help with the aches and pains that I create for myself at the gym however it also helps with my overall well being from my day-to-day life. I can honestly say that every time I have had a massage by Clarissa it has been exceptional. The right balance between alleviating my muscular pain and perfect bliss. The Spa itself is very clean and tidy and the staff are all so welcoming, friendly and professional. Clarissa spends the right amount of time on ascertaining the degree of soreness and the level or pressure of the massage for the best results so I can only describe the service as outstanding. I have had other massages from other places. At this point I can totally recommend Clarissa I have never had a bad experience recently I had knee surgery and the level or effort and care that she showed making sure I was comfortable from the time I walked in the door can only be described as phenomenal STAFF are at VEDA !!!!

I’ve gone to multiple Veda locations and stylists in Colorado Springs. I just went to Tracy W. for my third time and will not be returning. My appointment was at 3:30 for a highlight and color. I told the stylist how I wanted my hair cut and that I wanted more blonde and that we could put in some of my natural color for dimension for every two or so blonde highlights. Tracy returned with color mixed and said she was going to do my hair differently than last time cause “she doesn’t know what she was thinking and didn’t like how my hair was colored last time” (thanks?

Saw Tracye Hawkins for cut and style - it was easily the best experience I have had with getting my hair done in years! I have curly hair so it is hard to find someone who knows what to do with it. She was so knowledgeable, clearly knew exactly what to do and how to do it, was efficient, it turned out great, and she was absolutely delightful to talk to. I tend to on review when I've had a bad experience or a brilliant experience, this experience was beyond brilliant. I want to shout out to all people with curly hair in COS "go see Tracye"! If I could give more than five stars I would.

I've been to Veda twice now, once to get my bangs cut (came out EXACTLY how I wanted) and again to my hair done for my wedding. Alyssa did SO great on my braided updo my hair looked gorgeous and I got plenty of compliments. Update - in all fairness, a manager called me very promptly after I wrote this review to apologize and offer to rebook me. So at least they get an A+ in responsiveness. Unfortunately they just caught me on a bad day, I was really looking forward to getting my hair done today to turn my day around, so that was a real letdown. Wish they would have been a little more proactive vs. reactive, but it is what it is. I had such a high opinion of this place until today. I showed up for my 5:30 appointment (after racing from work to ensure I wasn’t late), checked in, and sat in the lobby for 10 minutes, only for the receptionist (who was very sweet and apologetic) to come up to me and say “I’m so sorry, your hairdresser went home sick, my manager said she tried to contact you and couldn’t get ahold of you.” While I completely understand that life happens and people get sick, I am so disappointed in the lack of customer service I received. One phone call. No voice mail. That was the sincere effort made to get in touch with me in the middle of a business day. And there was absolutely no offer to make it right. No “we were able to squeeze you in with another gal” or “I’m so sorry, we can see you tomorrow at __ and offer you a discount for the inconvenience and waste of your time”. Suffice it to say, I expected more from this kind of establishment, and I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

I absolutely love the atmosphere at Veda salon I had a wonderful first time experience this last week. Jordan Lane was my hair stylist and she was amazing, gave great advice on what’s best for my hair, she took the time to Listen as well. I asked her Which products she recommended and she didn’t not try to sell me the most expensive thing instead Jordan used her experience and sold me products based on my hair type. She taught me how to style my hair with new tools and for the first time ever I feel confident in fixing my own hair! This experience was worth every penny I spent and I highly recommend going to Veda salon at university village and definitely ask for Jordan Lane !!

Not the stylists or nail techs, but the management and running of the business. Edited to add: I received a phone call from Chelsea today. She listened to my concerns and offered to make it right. Went in for a professional a-line bob trim and shape...my hair is damaged due to blonding process and HAZEL took excellent care of it all! Protein, moisturizing treatment left my hair feeling and looking 10x better, washed, cut and styled my hair so all I had to do was return to work. She explained clearly every process and the 'why' behind it, which i was impressed with. I thoroughly enjoyed my whole experience at Veda. Everyone there was very professional but still personable. Purchased the Brilliant damage control spray...made all the difference when styling at home. Highly recommend taking a little time for yourself now and then at Veda Salon & Spa.

While Veda always has a nice and professional atmosphere, it seems that every time I go in and give my stylist a simple task they take matters into their own hands and hack away at my hair, doing whatever style that remotely reflects whatever I actually ask for, which is usually a simple trim or cut. When I ask to have my hair cut above my shoulders, I don't mean that I want an ungodly choppy A-line Bob from a stylist who I was told was a level 4 and then I can read on her business cards that she is a level 3..... Not worth the time or money to have someone just do whatever they please with my hair

My sister paid to ha e my hair done for my wedding day, they didn’t shampoo my hair or use any products except for hair spray which frizzed my hair, after I left the salon I went a cross the street to fix my hair wasted 3 hours of my wedding day.. worst experience ever

My wife received an incredible haircut from Kristen, if I was reviewing based only on her experience for the haircut it would easily be 5 stars. She then went in for color with Alyssa and came home in tears with straw like hair. She asked for a few baby lights on the top and around her hairline to blend everything going on and the stylist figured that meant to bleach every strand of hair. She told the stylist she liked the color and just wanted some highlights the same color as her ends (she had old balayage) but she didn't want to be lighter. The stylist gave her a root shade and it looked like there was a straight line all around her head where the base color ended and this weird bright yellow color met, which was a lot lighter than the beginning color (which again my wife didn't ask to go lighter) . It did not blend and she took away all dimension in my wife's hair. How the stylist thought a few babylights meant to lighten all of her hair baffles me. Also my wife had copper hair (again she really liked) and the stylist kept saying how reds/orange tones in hair are ugly. She was very unprofessional and when my wife was describing that she wanted babylights (which are very fine subtle highlights) the stylist kept insisting to do balayage and the stylist even asked her if she wanted the actual look of baby lights which my wife said yes and yet she still did something completely different. The stylist talked to my wife like she was an idiot and kept complaining the whole time about how she was working and sweating and it was too hot for all this work. It was very unprofessional and made my wife very uncomfortable. At the end of the day my wife asked for babylights the stylist said she could achieve the look with balayage (which should be soft dimensional highlights)and instead got every single piece of her hair lightened dramatically. Not even close to what she was looking for. Granted there was a band in the middle of her hair that she told them she just wanted it to blend a little better by the highlights hoping it would soften it. The stylist took it upon herself to mean that the entire band and everything below needed to be lightened. This stylist did not listen and was very unprofessional and rude. The front desk staff was very sweet and tried to accommodate my wife to get it fixed but at that point my wife just wanted out of the salon. Emily (at the front) was incredibly personable and helped to ease my wife's emotions about what happened. Veda salon has some great stylists, like Kristen, and friendly staff up front, but if this review was solely based on Alyssas service and skills it would be a 1 star.

I love to go to Veda. I hadn't been in several years due to the fact my stylist had left so I moved on and tried several different salons over the years (big mistake) This day I was planning on beginning the process of a color correction by doing a full highlight. The previous time I had gone in after several failed experiences at other salons. The other places had done so mjch damage i do regret not returni nf sooner. I was hoping my new stylist could get my hair back on track. She did a partial highlight/lift with a cut. And then suggested the next time to do a full highlight to slowly get my hair where I want to.That day I left very satisfied and looking forward the continuation. She explained it would take a couple visits. Whereas, other places would claim they could do it in one setting and ruin it. So many times I would leave miserable and have to return several times to try too rectify it. Which never happened. Anyway, when I arrived this past week she actually suggested not to do any color or highlights. The color still looked great and my roots hadn't grown out considerably as they tended to do or even the color would fade out or become brassy. . The blending underneath still looked together. No fading or brassi esd. She only suggested a toning and gloss process to brighten it up and just even out the tone. I'm heading to Florida soon and she said it would just keep it healthy and then in a few more weeks I should come in and have the full process done. She was right. It looks beautiful. I feel that she could have not suggested this and done the full highlight where she would have made more money not just including a bigger tip. But she showed integrity by offering me a quicker,much cheaper, and healthier alternative. She also spent a little bit longer on the scalp and head massage. She is also very knowledgeable about which product to use and change up when needed. I know they get perks for selling product but she didn't push anything, suggested, different combos and showed me what she would use. I am so glad I now have a stylist that not only listens but offers suggestion s helpful to me. Not just her.

2 years ago I moved from L.A. - a place some would consider the mecca for premier salons. I desperately needed a new style and color to fit my new life in Colorado. After a few negative experiences throughout the area I landed at Veda. Instantly, I knew they had their "stuff" together. I was welcomed with professionalism and compassion. The first interaction was with the front desk girls- they're not even stylists (although they were suuper knowledgeable) and they truly had an interest in my motives. I was presented with delicious Comforting Tea and tasty fruit water, for FREE. I would have paid for the cup it was so good (I now purchase my tea, through my salon -crazy!). It appears the vast majority of their stylists are very educated and experienced which is hard to come-by at the "rent-a-chair" salons thrown across the city. I've had great experiences with a few of their stylists. I haven't scheduled with a specific stylist since I started coming here. My schedule is random and it has been so comforting knowing I can take the earliest opening and be satisfied with the results. I felt the need to express my gratitude. I've been coming here for 2 years but never left a review. Well, now I have. Thank you for always having an interest, in my interests - it truly is rare.

I say "I saw the look I wanted... not sure how... but she gets me to that level." I walk out feeling my best self. I hate when stylists can't blow dry my hair the way I prefer but she nails it every time. HER PRODUCTS ARE ON POINT FOLKS! The ladies at the front are gorgeous and giving. They make sure you're taken care of. Please take the advice of a woman that's lived in Europe almost her entire adult life... this spa is the real thing. Not only is she very skilled, she's also the kindest person - a quality that is so important but often overlooked.
