Love this boutique salon! Comfy feel, but classy outcomes. I've been working with stylist/co-owner Jennifer Reinecke for several years now. She's super communicative and creative. She knows the look and feel I want, and she makes it happen. She's really a cut above any other stylist I've ever had. I've referred several of my professional contacts to her and they're all devoted clients now, too. Talk about a blessing! Jennifer is a win-win-win.

Moved here from out of state and already had tape in extensions. Came in for a consult and was told it was no issue. We specifically discussed that I wanted them reapplied in the same session. Came for my schedule appointment and had to wait over 10 minutes. I finally get in the chair and 15 mins in she tells me she doesn't have enough time to do the whole service, so she's just going to remove them. She tells me I can come back in two days to have it completed... when it's her day off. I told her that wasn't what we discussed and she got defensive and told me I can't hold her accountable since these aren't her hair extensions. I wish she just would have said she couldn't do it in the consult. I would have come at any time for however long she needed. I just expected the entire service to be completed.

Stormy is the most incredibly talented stylist I've ever worked with! Both my husband and I have very thick and wavy hair and time and time again have been unimpressed with other stylist's inability to work with our hair. Stormy consistently exceeds our expectations, always listens to what we want, delivers fresh styles and genuinely cares about us and our family. As a testament to our loyalty, we recently brought our son in for his first hair cut. Considering he's a wiggly toddler, Stormy again did an exceptional job (fast, precise and without many tears). Stormy has been our stylist the past 5 years and we don't plan on breaking this wonderful relationship anytime soon!

I'm surprised at the pricing of Jennifer's hair cuts and other cost. Seventy dollars for a hair cut + tip, I would expect a five star rating... not so. One hudered dollars for a perm (Oh My Gosh) not a 5 star rating. Cost of hair product, over $12 more then on Amazon for same exact product, pretty much over the top on cost with a rating of one star. Do they think we don't check on prices other then the salon prices? Yes, it's a convenience but let's not take advantage of your customer. On top of that they are not eager to make their time work for the customer and told that getting a hair cut at the same time with an other service that I would have to come an other time. As I read other customers reviews on this matter.....it makes me wonder if they end up with more tips and costing the customer more. Sensitivity to the customers schedule is imperative, they are also busy. I did not complain at the time but I am now!! By the way, protocol, you do not need to tip the owner....especially with high prices like this. I don't live in Hollywood or Cherry Creek.

I scheduled a full highlight and when explaining what I wanted the stylist looked very confused and had to go ask another for advice. Not very comforting! Although when asked about experience she said she’s been doing hair for 25-30 years. She did the highlight then took another color client while I was processing. She sat me back in a corner and didn’t check on me once. She had someone else rinse me and I just sat with wet hair while she rinsed and finished the girl that started after me. Why was I there for 3.5 hours for a highlight?!

You get what you pay for. Yes this will be more expensive than a Great Clips, but the stylists are very skilled and the salon has a comfortable, personal feel. Additionally, you can form a relationship with your stylist and they will give you better service as a result; they will get to know your hair and your style.

Got my first bad haircut here and will not go back. The woman who cut me was super sweet, and I've always had friendly service here. I asked for a very simple basic men's fade and the woman rushed through, asked if it was good, I said no, and went through again really quickly. Felt like my hair was getting pulled out. Then two weeks later I find this huge patch of hair behind my ears that is an inch longer than the rest. Most professionals would go through and make sure at the end. If you're asking $30 for a very basic haircut, it should not take 25 minutes. Miss me with that.

We net here because a friend had recommended it and I like her cut. Although the receptionist was nice the stylist Lucinda was very personable and butchered my 13yr old daughters hair. Her hair is a pixie cut. The front she cut a 1/4 in long like my daughter did when she was 2. There is no way to fix it but wait and for a 13yr old it is torture. She has been crying off and on since. We have purchase hats, bandanas, gel and got it cut a gain to try and blend the butcher job. She didn't show her the back and now we know what. We will never go back here. Thank goodness for New Energy Salon

Highly recommend this salon! I was visiting from out of town and wanted to do a color correction to a dark red color. I saw Melissa and she was wonderful! She was super knowledgeable and personable, nailed my color and cut, and made the whole 5 hour process enjoyable. She even gave me specific information about the products and color to take home and give to my next stylist, to ensure the same results going forward. Highly recommend Melissa and Union Salon!

Worst haircut I've ever had. Reception assured me the stylist they were giving me was someone who could handle what I was asking for, after I repeatedly asked. 20 minutes after the appointment all the product falls out leaving me to find random chunks of longer hair in the buzzed area that weren't even cut. For 60 dollars I could have paid someone with eyes to cut my hair. Don't waste your time or money.

Went in for a bang trim.... It was my first time ever visiting this salon and they still offered it for free! Plus I am very picky with my hair especially my bangs.. And Valyry cut it EXACTLY how I asked her to. Very pleased! Also the atmosphere is great with great products.. I got an awesome headband that was only $12! Will definitely be back for a full service soon :)

I write this knowing I may be squeezing myself out of my fave day/time appts...but this place is AMAZING! When I left NYC 15+ years ago I struggled to find a decent hair stylist in Denver. I tried Cherry Creek, downtown, and eventually Belmar. If Christa ever moves out of state I will put my house on the market and go where she goes. She's talented, personable, reasonably priced, not to mention super cute and funny.

Really friendly staff!! Small talk was a minimal and comfortable amount, and I liked my cut a ton. The only improvement I'd recommend is for more comfort on those sinks where they wash your hair. Low key thought that my life was gonna end from the neck pain lollol (I kept silent about it though haha)

Scheduled an appt with Christa 3 weeks ago to have my hair colored in preparation for my wedding which is in almost exactly one month. Upon arriving at the salon, I waited about a half an hour past my scheduled appt time while she finished another clients hair. I understand that these things happen sometimes and that wasn't a big deal...until she called me over to take a seat in her chair and promptly informed me she didn't have time to color my hair today so I would either have to come back all together or have only half (if that) of what I wanted to have done today. This was after she insulted me by saying that the 'box color' in my hair would take too long to correct. For the record, I've never had box color in my hair, I've always gone to professional salons. When I booked the appt, I clearly explained to the receptionists what it was that I wanted to have done and I expected that scheduling an appt would set aside some time for me. I'm not interested in having someone rush through coloring my hair because she overbooked her clients today, so I left. Getting married in less than 30 days and I wasted a whole month waiting for this appt and took the day off from work to go to it, for nothing. Taking my business elsewhere, wouldn't recommend this salon to anyone having their hair done for an occasion.

My hairdresser was super nice and every went well- on time, nice shampoo, good location. I wasn't thrilled with the cut and when I reached out, they didn't respond...so that was disappointing, but it looks good now that it's grown out a bit. My husband absolutely LOVED his hair cut. It was his best cut ever.
