Really disappointed with the quality of hairdressers recently. I've been coming to this location for 2 years now. But I've noticed lately the people I've been getting are less and less experienced. And the prices have gone up as well. A couple weeks ago I got one of their $28 haircuts. when I remember it used to be $21. And I know they price by rank of staff member, but the haircut I received was not worth $28. She gave me a bowl cut and I asked her to even out my fringe/side-bangs. She just completely chopped them off. I was so unhappy with the results. I left the salon embarrassed. I definitely did not receive a quality haircut or professional hairstylist. I used to love this place because their walk-ins were always simple/available, and the people who took care of me really took care of me. I normally felt confident in whoever would cut my hair, but now I can't even recommend this salon. They seemed like they genuinely knew what they were doing and considered my preferences. But for some reason the hairdressers I've seen the last two times have left me with horrible looks and it's going to take me months to grow my hair back to it's original length. I'm upset and will no longer be coming here for any further hair business.

I have been a customer of the Penney's salon for a long time. I used to go to another location but I started coming to this one because of my stylist changing stores. Ariel has been styling my hair for well over 10 years and she is the best! My hair is naturally curly and no other stylist has ever been able to cut and style my hair and show me how to take care of my hair at home the way she has. She always takes the time to work with me and recommend products that actually work for my hair and she always has ideas when I'm not sure what to do with it. She's always very professional and accommodating and I won't see anyone else!

I booked my appointment online, on the day before Christmas Eve! I got in with no problems and Joe cut my hair. He gave me the exact cut and style I was looking for. I will be returning!

The last place I went to acted like I was crazy for wanting purple and black added to my gray! It turned into a big ordeal. You kinda created a monster tho.... now I walk around like I'm all that. haha!

Wanna waste your money and get a horrible haircut with inexperienced barbers? Well you have come to the right place. Before i came here I had the back of my hair down to almost my shoulder and the right side of my hair to my chin. I came in and asked for a trim but that I 1st had to wait 30 minutes before I got my hair done. I should have ran out while I had the chance. The person who cut my hair, antonia or whatever her name is, did a HORRIBLE job on me. In fact I saw her before cutting a little girls hair and even she cried about how bad her hair looked which even I didn't like. Eventually it was my turn to get my hair done and for the 15 years that I have been alive I have never received a cut this bad. I have what looks like a buzz cut on the back of my head. One side of my hair reaches to the top of my left ear and the other side is almost untouched. My head looks like the top of a diamond. How did this even go from a trim to shaving the back of my head and chopping off the side?? My mom came in and also didn't like the cut and for the whole time the barber was blaming me. My mom would point out every bad spot and the barber would stand there and talk back in a rude attitude saying "your son asked for it not me." There is no way I will ever come back and I highly urge anyone reading this to stay as far away possible from this place or at least ask for a different barber if you get this crazy lady.

Worst ever! I took my 9 year old daughter in for a Pixi cut, which is HUGE for a little girl. She left with an 80’s bowl cut. Poor thing was humiliated and I had to take her somewhere else to get it fixed. Sadly I didn’t get the stylists name but she should be fired. When I told her how bad it was she got really aggressive. And said the girl in the picture had thicker hair, call me crazy but shouldn’t she had addressed that before she cut 12 inches of hair?
