I don't go to salons too often but made an appointment here with Janet and was so pleased. I made a huge change - went from very long to very short. She really took the time and effort to learn how my hair behaves - cut it - style it - learn how it lays - and then altered the cut to work best. I was really impressed with her ability to really find a cut that works for me. :)

This place is amazing. I fell in love with Aveda products after a spa day at Tall Grass in Evergreen. I've been looking for an Aveda salon closer to either work or home. After trying two others, I found the Hair Lounge and I will NOT look back! This place is what I would consider a "TRUE" Aveda Salon. You get a scalp massage (I actually got two) and a hand and arm massage with your hair service. I also got an eyelash lift and tint which has basically changed my life. I have blonde eyelashes and the lift and tint makes it look like I'm wearing mascara all the time. I LOVE IT. You can also buy mini spa services while your color processes. I purchased a 10 minute neck and shoulder Chakra balancing massage. OMG. I felt like I was floating while Kaylee massaged my neck and shoulders. It was amazing. And Megan did an incredible job with my hair. It came out looking just like the picture I showed her. I will return! This place is the best. Everyone there is so nice and friendly. I'm going to spread the word! They are kind of tucked away out of sight. Oh, and they served me a glass of wine while Megan did my highlights.

Stacey was so awesome! She really goes out of her way to make her clients happy both on the inside and out. She really saved my hair from an unfortunate visit to another salon that did not turn out well. I look forward to going back to her and would highly recommend the salon

I have been going to the hair lounge for years! Everyone there is awesome. Izzy, Lauren, and Megan have all done my hair and they really listen to what you want and are just great people. The atmosphere is very relaxing and you definately feel pampered when you go here!

New to the area I simply looked for Aveda and found Rita J's. From the first moment they were like friends. After 30 years I was having a first date! They did hair cut hair cut, style and make up. I was mostly concerned that I felt good about myself but they made me look great! Even other women stopped me to ask who did my hair. On that date I was told I was a 'stone cold fox'! I did not reveal who that came to be!

OMG i love my hair!!!! Totally worth the money! They got me in the same day i called and Courtney did an amazing job! Scalp massage and amazing color correction and cut! Im definitely coming back every time i need my hair done! Plus she was super friendly as was the whole crew! I can finally hold my head high knowing i have AMAZING hair now!!! I definitely recommend them to everyone who truly cares about their hair!

IZZY IZZY IZZY is the best hair stylist ive ever had she is so knowledgeable about her work and she is super personable too, besides that she gave me a balayage and cut my hair after it had hardly been touched in two years, she did a great job blending in the blonde with my brown. i definitely recommend her.

Consistently great hair cuts for guys with longer hair. Ask for Izzy. Plus your haircut comes with tea/coffee and a scalp massage. Well worth the bit extra you'll pay vs. a barber.
