Management and stylists are really committed to clients having the best possible experience and outcome. I absolutely LOVE working with Emily Avery. She is the sweetest, very easy going, and nails my color/cut every single time. She is always happy to chat or let me read my book and just enjoy some much needed relaxation. Highly recommend her.

I came to this salon while on a business trip from NY, my trip got pushed out a week so I decided to stop and get my hair colored and cut while I was out here to stay on schedule. I came to this salon and received the worst choppiness hair cut I've ever seen let alone had myself and my root color was off by a whole shade. I had to wear a hat to Christmas dinner and I was embarrassed to show my hair to my family. Avoid this place at all costs

I'm visiting the Boulder location from out of state and I called the line to ask about parking. The service rep didn't know about parking in that specific location either, but went out of her way to pull up google maps and find options for me. This is the kind of excellent customer service that sets Studio Be apart from other salons. They set the bar high in terms of customer service, quality of stylists, and quality of products. I have never consistently visited a salon or stylist for various reasons. I hate those fancy salons that make you feel like you need to come in already looking like a model, and stylists that spend more time gossiping to each other than listening to you. After going to Studio Be, I can't imagine going anywhere else! Everyone is incredibly friendly and attentive, and my stylist, Danielle, is so talented and wonderful! My last stylist at another salon botched the layers in my hair, and Danielle called it out without me needing to mention it and she suggested a style to help cover it until my hair has grown out enough to fix it. It was one of the best hair salon experiences I have had in a long time. Linnea is a very experienced stylist. She gave me extremely important advises regarding my future hair treatment and suggested a good haircare products that I love. The haircut itself was really nice. I don't like when I ask a stylist to cut half and inch but she cuts 5 instead. Linnea was not like that - she took my request into account and brought her own suggestions before she did anything to my hair. After we agreed on the haircut together(!), she cut it and styled it. If you can book with her, do it. She is very sweet. You will have a really good experience.

Linnea was amazing and (if I lived in Boulder) she would be my go to girl for all of my haircuts. The receptionist (I feel bad I don’t know her name) was also super helpful and I love her energy! LOVE Studio Be! The salon is so clean and bright and always makes me feel super fancy. The receptionists are always so sweet and kind. I’m extremely picky about my hair cuts and Linnea has blown me away each time! She always does a perfect “clean up” of my dead ends and gives the best scalp massage! Also, she remembers everything we talk about from months prior— I struggle to even remember peoples names, but she always asks about my husband by name and my business in Gunbarrel. Amazing- this is the first time in my life that a stylist has given me EXACTLY what I asked for. Katherine far exceeded my expectations. When she spun me around to check out my hair at the end, I was so happy I almost teared up! Would give her 10 stars if I could!! UPDATE 6/22 Had to come back here and edit my review. I had an appt with Katherine today but she cancelled due to illness (hope you feel better girl!). It's an inconvenience but hey, stuff happens. The edit is because of my experience with rescheduling. The woman I spoke with was short with me and sounded like I was inconveniencing HER somehow, and said Katherine wouldn't have another opening until AUGUST 26th. Long story short Katherine and I worked it out between ourselves and scheduled another appointment for next week, but I wish each location handled their own scheduling. The corporate 'central office' approach feels cold and impersonal, and leaves room for the customer to have an experience like I had today.

I drive an hour to visit my stylist (Danielle W.) at this location. She is worth it! I always get a stylish haircut and the best color for the price. The staff is friendly and welcoming and I feel the pricing is comparable and fair to what I would pay elsewhere. It’s worth it to me to come to Studio Be Boulder for the “extra something” that I feel I get there in terms of customer service. The one draw back of the location itself is that parking can be tricky. Otherwise, love it and highly recommend it!!!

Linnea patiently explained everything to me and helped me come up with a great plan to ease into it. Even now, everytime I go in she has ways to switch up the dye to make it pop a bit more and I'm always thrilled with my color! Highly recommend :)

Danielle w. Did my hair at the boulder location. I usually go to the Fort Collins down town. First off, the girls working in the front ignored me then seeing that I sat down and was waiting asked if I needed help. I felt rushed and my hair didn’t turn out like I wanted. The cut was basic so I could’ve gone anywhere else for it. COST: I payed around 25$ to reserve and then $160 after. So 185$ to be rushed ignored and not get what I want sounds like a joke. Side note, her fingernails where dirty maybe from dye, but it looked like she had dirt underneath idk what it was.

I been going to Katherine M for over a year and she is amazing! I've never been so consistently happy with my hair after every single visit. I know that every time I see Katherine I'm going to leave feeling absolutely beautiful! She makes sure that I have a color and cut that actually works for me and my lifestyle. I'm an athlete and wear my hair in ponytails or braids for races and training. Katherine keeps that in mind and when I ask for a cut or color style that won't look or work great with the real way I wear my hair she's not afraid to steer me in the direction of something more practical. Katherine always finds a way to make my hair beautiful within the limits of what my real lifestyle is. The salon as a whole is wonderful! I absolutely love the process of checking in and getting a menu card to fill out with services and prices, etc. The customer service is head and shoulders above many of the pricier salons in Boulder. No snobbery here, just kind, welcoming people who are thrilled to have you in the salon and prices that are seriously reasonable. I LOVE Studio Be.
