Your salon sends me a coupon along with an email to make an appointment request with 3 possible dates, calls me with a totally different date I didn't select and can't get me in on ANY of the three dates and times I asked for? No wonder I stopped going there.

I want to start by saying I never written a bad review, I usually just share my positive experiences. From the minute I called to make my appointment, I wasn't sure this was the salon for me. The receptionist was irritated that I didn't know exactly what service I was coming in for. I explained that it was the first time I was coloring my hair to specifically color greys, I could hear her frustration when she told me she needed to know what service I want so she could book my appointment. I just told her to book me for a cut and whatever color process tooks the longest. I am not going to mention the stylist because she really was a sweet girl still learning and this review isn't about her, its about the customer service the salon offers. I tried for three days to style my hair in different ways, but the cut isn't right and always looks choppy and un-styled. I left two messages for the owners, once for Lori and once for Anastacia. I have never had a haircut that I was so unhappy with that I actually called to request it be fixed. Neither owner called me back, the salon was very busy so maybe they don't need another new client, but I wouldn't recommend the salon and think they have horrible customer service. When I pay over $200 for a haircut and color, I want to leave satisfied not hating my hair. I am content with my color, not in love with it but I don't hate it.

Jamie Brazzil is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend her, and prior to going to her I had been going to the same lady for 10+ years so I was a little nervous. There was nothing to be worried about though as she took awesome care of me and my hair!! I get so many compliments on my hair too!! I would recommend her to any/everyone.

No. Did NOT get my money's worth and it was a lot of money for my hairdresser to act incredibly annoyed that I wanted my hair done. Then said that if I wanted more highlights, I would have needed to schedule more time than I did. I called with EXCESSIVE details about what I wanted and THEY SCHEDULED THAT TIME SLOT. NOT ME. If you cant do what a customer asks for in the amount of time you need, then you schedule them for more time. No customer can be psychic with what you can do. That's your responsibility and why we tell you exactly what we want done, when we call. I tell everyone to avoid that place. It's better to just flush 300 dollars down your toilet. This place is a joke.

Amanda is an amazing hair stylist! Loved my hair she listened to what I wanted and gave me a very beautiful haircut. She deserves 5 stars. Here’s where it gets messy... I went in for a brow wax as well same day kill 2 birds with one stone type thing. Just had my first baby feeling down about myself and needed some pampering. Ok so, I get there Carla (brow waxer) came to get me hardly spoke two words to me sat me down at a hairwasher station to wax me. Not only did i have to start the conversation or a conversation in general. Carla botched my left eyebrow, and didn’t even clean up under my brows I still have hair that should be there. I’m now missing a piece of my left eyebrow. So that’s cool if I wasn’t already feeling ugly here’s another thing. I didn’t realize how botched my eyebrow was until 30-40 min after I left. I called the salon to see what they could do for me, because it was not okay. Salon receptionist was persistent I came in that day to show them the damage, well I couldn’t I had other plans that day we made an agreement to meet the following business day. Great I arrive to show the manager (Cassie) my botched eyebrow she acted like it wasn’t as bad as it really was. Cassie took a look and offered to clean up the areas that weren’t cleaned up, i denied (clearly sacred to ever get my brows waxed there again). Cassie then proceeded to tell me next time I should make sure to tell the waxer to not take to much from the middle of my brows. Y’all can clearly see where my brow starts, there is no mistake of taking to much from the middle. Cassie was nice and did give me a store credit. I appreciate the store credit but felt that as a salon they should have had way more concern with a messed up eyebrow. Maybe a free product or full refund honestly it’s only what’s right. Not trying to be a free loader but man it sucks having to look in the mirror and see a messed up brow. Especially for someone who doesn’t wear makeup often I look hilarious... Needless to say please avoid getting an eyebrow wax from them.

If I could give this salon 100 stars I would. I absolutely love Rize. Anastasia, my stylist is the best. I feel like a million bucks every time I leave. Anastasia always confirms what style I want to try before she starts cutting. I have never been disappointed. The staff is super friendly and the salon very clean. I always feel welcome when I walk through the door.

They did an amazing job the few times I went but this time I was very disappointed. Not only was my hair color messed up but my haircut too. I took a reference picture (Khloe K picture) and showed the stylist and I was hoping she would cut my hair exactly like the picture since she had before well I get home and half of my hair is chopped off and my layers are uneven and I’m left looking like Lord Farquaad from Shrek. Smh, save your money people.

This salon double books clients. I felt like I was being rushed through sitting on a bench with my foil wrapped hair while the stylist finished with her other client. None of the personal experience that I have received at other Aveda salons or what I would expect. I gave two stars rather than one because the color and cut were okay. Nothing special, but nothing wrong.

Very clean and VERY PROFESSIONAL! Everything is done by the book and everyone is trained through Aveda. Like I said, VERY PROFESSIONAL! Don't go in asking for bright, fire engine red hair; such as I have; because while they know how, they're just not that kind of salon. Overall, they KNOW their stuff; hair, skin, make up, it's WHAT they do!

Anyone who has had a bad haircut (which haven't we all) onows that it can be a bit traumatic. Well, Amanda is my hero! She took a cut I hated and did an amazing job turning it into one that I'm really happy with. She listened to me and totally exceeded my hopes for salvaging my hair. Thia might also seem weird, but I loved the way the ladies all talk to each other. It felt very friendly and welcoming. As long as Amanda will have me back I think I found a new lady I really trust! :)

Honestly didn't get a chance to actually try the salon. Guessing there are good stylists working at Rize? I scheduled my apt using their website. Turns out you have to prepay? Ok, I guess? But since it wouldn't let me use the $20 off first time visit coupon, I stopped. However the system said my apt was scheduled. I did call the salon to confirm and yup, my apt was scheduled. Left work early that day and when I arrived, they didn’t have me scheduled. I was told that unless you prepay, the system will kick your apt out after an hour. I was also told the $20 off your first visit is really for your 2nd visit or to be used on products in the salon. hhmm? My gripe is; your online scheduling system tells you your apt is scheduled and it really isn't and the $20 off first visit coupon is really for your 2nd visit. Sorry to say their $20 off incentive to bring in new customers, just lost them a new customer. You would have thought the person with whom I spoke with while confirming my apt would have explained the process? Guess not. Good luck to the next customer.

Was originally disappointed that this salon does not offer refunds if you pay online, they only offer store credit. I decided to keep my appointment, and was very glad I did, because Nicole was fabulous! She was funny, kind, gave a nice cut, and took the time to curl my hair. Would recommend her☺️

I saw Amber for a deep conditioning and scalp treatment. She was fantastic, and truly pampered me. I am in a wheelchair and she made sure I could stay in my chair and give me the full service still. I highly recommend both the salon and Amber!

Went in for an all over color and they talked me into getting a balayage. Terrible color turn out. I didn't like it so they offered to give me babylights they wanted to charge me to tone the blonde babylights so my hair was blonde straight from bleaching it. It's not included??? Always didn't do my hair the way I liked it and when I wanted it fixed they charged me even more and more regular price. Charged me 25 dollars for 1 inch trim. Rumors Salon is better. They messed up and offered to fix it and give me discounts.

I'm new to the area and I was looking for a hair salon. I went to a place called Fantastic Sams and I recieved the worst service ever. Completely messed my hair up. So I went online and found Rize hair salon. I went there to have my hair fixed. My stylist name was Randi. She listened to what I wanted and was able to fix it without taking too much more hair off. She even made it better than what I hoped for. you pay for the stylist rank. So the price ranges anywhere from $25-$45 for a haircut depending on the experience of your stylist. I paid $35 for mine. I was not disappointed. I will be going back for my next haircut or color and I will be seeing Randi. She was great. Its a small salon, maybe only 8 stylists. But very professional salon. Loved it!

I’m a hairstylist and brand new to the area. I also happen to be a high maintenance blonde, and moving can be the scariest thing when it comes to hair. I spoke to Anastacia to ask if she could recommend someone who was a perfect fit for my hair and told her my concerns. Some salons will just tell you what you want to hear (...”Everyone is great at that, etc....”), but I could tell that Anastacia understood exactly what I was looking for and was honest. She referred me to Lori, who delivered an absolutely perfect, heavy, blonde foil, with perfect foil placement. The foils were all the way to my scalp, with no bleeds or breakage. She trimmed exactly the right amount off of my hair without cutting any holes in my perimeter. Sounds like a miracle you say? It kind of is, that I found this salon on my first try after moving 2000 miles. Try it, you won’t be disappointed!

Her snotty reply made mw not want to go there. I suggest you hire employees with better customer service. They could have gained a new customer today. To bad 1 person had to ruin it.

Love Rise Salon so much I drive from Denver every 6. To 8 weeks for a cut and color! The prices are so much better than in the city! I always walk out with healthy gorgeous hair! Aveda uses no harsh chemicals!!

The atmosphere at Rize was great, but the basic short men's cut I received was a little rough around the edges. My part was not preserved correctly and hair was hitting me in the eyelid and eyebrow the day after the cut. The haircut looks more like a military or construction type person than a business style (personal tastes here, but I get angry looking in the mirror every morning, lol).

Nice atmosphere all the girls working were friendly, but I wanted a cool icy blonde balyage & ended up with yellow brassy hair. I paid nearly $200 and got yellowy blonde brassy hair, I paid for toner it just didn't work I guess. I Called back a day later & was told I'd have to pay more money for them to correct it. The blonde is an even color throughout but the tone is awful. Disappointed to have spent so much money, and tell them I'm dissatisfied only for them to say I'll have to give them more money? I did voice my concerns at the salon after washing the first toner out & was told the lighting in the salon was to blame, however after getting home it's just not the right shade in any lighting, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and to go home and see if it looked better than it did there, but it honestly looks worse. Every mirror I walk past I flinch at the site of my yellow brass mess of hair on my head, but I guess I'll have to do an at home fix since they want to charge me more money to fix their mistake & it'd be cheaper to do it at home. I'm really disappointed, I thought I'd finally found a nice salon but turns out they just want as much money from you as possible. Save your money and go somewhere else. Maybe I just had a bad experience but, yellow brassy hair is terrible looking when I wanted cool icy blonde.

The Perm didn't take at all and she insisted I still pay for it. I took my 8 yr old there for a perm and a cut. The perm didn't take at all. When told the stylist that I thought the perm didn't take, she snapped at me, "Heck yeah, it took." She promptly walked over to another stylist, spoke to her, then the other stylist came over and said, I'll finish up with her trim. I didn't see the original stylist again the rest of the time we were there. The manager insisted I pay for the perm. She said it's not her policy to issue refunds. Refund?! Not only did we spend 3 hours at the salon that afternoon, we left utterly disappointed. Why should I pay $70 for a perm we didn't get. I offered and paid $15 for a 5 second trim and left. We won't be back.

Desiree is awesome. I saw her quite a while ago when I was in my awkward stage of my pixie cut growing out (somewhere between a bob and a pixie), and she did well with that cut. She did another cut that I liked as well. I then went a few months and tried to just let my hair grow, got a really crappy cheap $10 trim at cost cutters, let that grow more, and finally called rize again. Once again, Desiree was great. She really took her time listening to what I wanted (yes, I was picky) and talking with me about the cut. She did a great job with the cut, and I am kicking myself for not seeing her sooner. She is a very good stylist, and wonderful person :)
