Natalie is the best barber in town, and the prices here are fantastic for the treatment you get. If you're a man looking for a proper barber, don't be put off about going to a "salon" - they have certified, trained barbers with a dedicated chair for men to be taken care of in style. Prodigy Salon is NOT just employing "men's stylists," but truly talented barbers (ESPECIALLY NATALIE!) I've been going for over 2 years and I'll be going as long as she is working there!

Called at last minute to surprise my daughter with getting her hair and makeup done for a school dance. They were extremely polite and got us in an hour! Natalie was so amazing and made my daughter feel so special. She did my daughters hair and makeup so beautifully! There is no way that this will not be our permanent salon from here on out!

Went in for a perm and told the hairdresser my hair doesn’t take curl well he still put in larger curls. Followed their instructions of don’t wash hair for 3 days, no ponytails, first time I washed it and put in some styling gel my hair had no curl. Paid $200 to never even get to wear my hair curly not happy with my experience.

I don't want to be mean, I am an honest reviewer, here goes. I have given Kat two chances with my hair. The first time I went in, I was pampered, but, as a new client, you kinda expect that. I told her I was a stylist of 10+ years. Maybe this made her nervous. I also told her I had an undercut that I was trying to grow out, and that I always wore my hair curly. I ALSO told her that I did NOT like the triangle shape that I had going on.. Props to her for cutting my length to meet the undercut. She cut some layering that intensified the triangle, and blew it out straight but did NOT finish it properly and the style lasted all of about half an hour. Next haircut. I asked for more layering and no triangle shape. She cut about an inch more off of the layers and the bottom and I still looked like a triangle head. Again, she blew it out straight, (I only wear it straight for kinky bedroom fun... literally that's IT) and this time she left the bottom very damp, so it ACTUALLY FROZE when I left. WHY. This nice woman needs to take styling classes and also needs to be honest when she is dealing with curly hair. "I don't have much experience with curly hair." Or, "I'm nervous." Or, "Brenda has better experience with curls than me." I am now going to Beauty Bar on Powers and am completely satisfied with my stylist. They take classes every month, pamper you every time, serve you wine and don't pretend they know what they are doing when they don't. Drop the mic.

Seriously, she listened to my anxiety about getting my blonde right based on past bad experiences, and she made sure to take care of me! It was awesome! The color and cut turned out GREAT, and I got a deep conditioning because it was my birthday and that felt so good! The service was phenomenal and the people were all so kind. It seems like anyone there would treat you right! I highly recommend. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing, and it was affordable! So worth it! I had my hair cut and colored by Brandi. She covered my roots with a really dark color and then lightened my highlights. When done my hair was terrible-2 drastically different colors with 2 inch dark roots. ( I wish I could post a photo of it). I called the salon and spoke with Cat. She said there was nothing they could do because the salon policy was you have to come in within 7 days and I called on day 10. (Obviously I did not know the policy). She said she would have Brandi call...... she never did.

This salon is amazing. I often DREAD finding a new place when moving and after reading reviews, I tried Prodigy out. My stylist is Ben and immediately I was impressed with his attention to detail, creativity, and caring. I told him that I wanted to change my hair drastically and get rid of over 12 inches and it turned out amazing. After foiling my hair, my color was way too intense since we had to lighten it first. Ben kept darkening the color until I was completely satisfied. I didn’t even have to say anything; Ben would look at it, and just kept adjusting it until it was where we had originally said I wanted to be. It took a while, but other stylists were awesome and helped him cover both myself and his next client (whom my time ran into because of how much we adjusted my color), without either of us feeling neglected. I came in yesterday for a touch up on my color after 4 weeks and he remembered the exact color we had achieved the first time around and what he needed to add to get the “cherry coke” with violet tones we were going for. He spent plenty of time with me even though it was relatively simple this time around and he always suggests things to improve my hair and skin without feeling like I’m being pushed product or services. I have never liked going to a salon regularly but this place has changed my whole view of how the experience can be. They are a true team and family there and their regulars become family as well. Give it a try, and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. And if you are, say something right then and there and they will make it right.

I recently moved to this area and was in need of a new salon. I couldn't have picked a better place. As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted with the most friendly of faces. I had the pleasure of working with Mari Gonzales. She was awesome, she educated, she was right up front about what she did and didn't like and what she felt would be the best options for me. I appreciated or straight forwardness with me and her professionalism. We did a full color on me and she let me know that if we needed to go a little darker then to let her know and we would do that. A few days after my appointment i wasn't totally satisfied with the color so I called her up and she got me in ASAP - as I was going on a vacation soon. She was very helpful and very willing to fix this issue for me. I love this salon and I will recommend to anyone in this area!

I am 100% positive that Prodigy is the definition of a 5 star salon. There is NOTHING even slightly negative I could say about any aspect of experience that I've had and I truly do not understand how anyone could. I came to Prodigy 2.5 years ago desperate and hating my hair. I was willing to pay anything for help after being let down by every other experience I'd had. Not only did I end up with my dream hair, but for dream prices, and at the hands of a literal magician stylist -- Jessa. Jessa is ONE OF A KIND and I could go on for pages and pages about how appreciative I am for her and why I recommend her. Both my best friend and mother liked my hair so much that they went out of their way to schedule appointments at Prodigy when they came out to visit me. They were with different stylists but have the same experience and story that I do -- THEYRE AMAZING!!! Both of them got their favorite cuts they've ever had while there. If it isn't clear -- I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Prodigy and every member of their staff. 5 stars for sure!!!!!!!

The experience was awesome. Super friendly and beautiful atmosphere. However the stylist I had cut my hair completely with a middle part. The cut wasn’t bad for a middle part, but I part my hair on the side and when I walked in it was parted that way also. She didn’t ask me where I parted it which is the first time that’s ever happened but I trusted it. She also gave me a numerous amount of short layers. They look, different. I wanted length off and it to be thinned but it’s pretty bluntly cut and there she made a lot of new very short layers. This hurts a little cuz I spent a long time growing the layers out. The cut is good don’t getting me wrong, but when I part my hair to the side I normally part it on there is a layer that is very noticeably visible and it’s only about 5 inches long. This causes me to have to wear a middle part which just makes me uncomfortable because it feels unnatural. I liked the salon very much but I’m not sure if I’ll be back. She didn’t stick to my A - Line cut and made it a straight across. It’s very different for me and it’ll be better when it grows out, but yeah. Edit: i left a review yesterday and I just showered and styled it myself and the cuts awful. I’m so sad. We took off like 3 inches and it’s so blunt cut and the layers are horribly blended. I don’t like how she cut it and I want to cry. Don’t go see brandy. She’s inexperienced and it shows.

I have been coming to this salon for almost a year now, the past couple times that I have gotten my hair done has been with Natalie. The first time I saw her, I was torn between keeping my red hair or just going back to dark brown, she gave me the best of both worlds, she went a little darker towards the top and kept the red down towards the bottom, but it blended so perfectly. I really love how she educates you as well, she's very smart and knows what she's doing, I always love coming to see her. She always does such a great job, I'm always blown away with what she does. I highly recommend her. The salon is very nice, clean and professional. Their prices can't be beat for such amazing work that they do. :D

I certainly recommend joining the Prodigy monthly membership! Unlimited hair/facial services including cuts, color, deep conditioning, updos, blowouts, make up application, and facials. There's varying levels of stylists but each one of them is incredible! I adore them all! They emphasize teamwork and taking care of their clients! I love that they all make an effort to establish a relationship with you even if you're not specifically their client. I've always been extremely satisfied with the quality of my service there!

We have a second home in Colorado and visit for extended periods of time. On our visit in August/September I decided to look for a salon that I could visit when we were in Colorado. First thing that I noticed on the Prodigy site was that they were a 'Paul Mitchell Salon' so I called requesting a stylist that was good with color and short hair specifically razor cut. Brandy was strongly recommended. On my first visit I was very happy with the cut and the color that I saw in front. I was not offered a mirror nor did I think about asking for one. When I went to style my hair the next morning I realized that I had THREE different colors on my hair. The front was blond, the sides up from my ears were kind of a green and the back was brunette. I had asked and paid for a color to cover the gray and then highlights all over! I decided to let it pass as we were leaving town within days and it was my understanding that BRANDY was fairly new to the profession. In October/November we were back in Colorado. I had intentionally not had my hair colored nor cut by the Salon that I normally use in order to make an appointment for another color and cut. When I saw BRANDY the second time I had pictures and colors to show her. She very quickly dismissed my pictures stating that she 'got it' and began coloring my hair. During the shampoo BRANDY suggested an extra conditioner for an additional $20.00 to which I agreed. BRANDY then began to cut my hair, which was the length of a short wedge. After some time BRANDY began just using the comb and scissors, doing a scissors over comb cut. When I was turned around to face the mirror my hair was 1/4 of an inch on the back and sides and 7" on the top. I was numb, I tipped her $40.00 paid my $140.00 bill and bought product! I had some shopping to do, but considered going home and hiding! At that point I had not even gone to thinking about the $200.00 plus I was out or why was it that I had purchased product but my hair was GONE!!! Oh, AND MY HAIR WAS STILL THREE COLORS!!! In the next day or two I called PRODIGY to speak with BRANDY but another associate called me and offered me an appointment in 3-4 days with BRANDY. I gladly accepted the offer in order to restyle my hair but also in order for BRANDY to LEARN. So for the second time in 1/2 a week I made the forty five minute drive to PRODIGY arriving fifteen minutes early, to be told that BRANDY was running behind from her client before me so her associate ( I have forgotten her name but she was great!) would take fifteen to correct my hair. Well of couse this absolutely deserved a tip, $20.00....my hair blended better but MY HAIR WAS STILL THREE COLORS!!!! PRODIGY was closed the next couple of days so I called first thing Tuesday morning and left a message thanking them for their efforts but my hair was awful and requesting a refund. I received a call from JESSA, a co-owner the same day asking for the chance to personally ATTEMPT to correct my hair. So..for the third time in SIX days I made the drive in order to let them fix my first visit. JESSA finally made my HAIR ONE COLOR which was great and she did blend my hair quite a bit. I did not feel any tip was needed because I had already decided to NOT BILL THEM mileage and time. We hugged, I left still minus a LOT of HAIR.

Prodigy Salon is a wonderful place. The environment is peaceful and the staff is great. This was my first time going and it definitely won't be my last. I've had terrible experiences in the past because I have such long and thick curly hair but my stylist, Kat, was friendly and did the best cut and blow dry I've ever had. This was the first time I actually left a salon feeling happy and pretty. I'm so happy I went to Prodigy Salon!
