I Came in 30 minutes before closing time and Cindee still took me in and was able to fix my terrible bob haircut. She took her time fixing my hair to my liking and was very friendly. She explained what she was going to do to my hair and was able to leave me looking amazing! The visit overall was awesome. You feel super welcome there and the whole time your hair is getting cut, it’s not awkward. The give you get from this place is great. I definitely recommend this place! They take their time with your hair and don’t rush like most hair salons do.

If you're looking for someone to take good care of you, end your search right here. I was a risky client. You see, I'm a grateful chemo survivor, and was blessed to keep my hair but the follicles were left very fragile. I was instructed to use only healthy products, no ammonia, minimal amounts of peroxide, organic color...you get the picture. Months of regrowth were begging for some good color so I could return to a very visible sales position. Nicole and Cindee calmed my many fears and assured me that they'd use gentlest of products. I was a nervous wreck but these two women carefully considered products, color and even rinsed my hair with purified water! It turned out great, no damage to my hair and they've been doing a beautiful job ever since. Pretty rare to find this tender loving care with top-notch skills and warm, welcoming personalities to boot! Two thumbs way up!!

I cannot even begin to express how amazing every single individual in this salon is! Each staff member no matter if they are working on you specifically or not is so attentive, polite, helpful and just all around great at what they do. The atmosphere is amazing every staff member had a genuine smile and a real want to help you look and feel your best. Grace was my stylist and I could not have asked for a MORE AMAZING experience. She listened completely to the exact look I wanted. Helped me feel so comfortable even though I was nervous because I've never had my hair professionally done before. Not only did she cut over a foot of hair off and layered it perfectly.. she gave me a beautiful full head balayage with a gorgeous blonde tone that I didn't think was possible for me. She styled and gave me a blowout with a beautiful pin curl look. All in all after spending 5 hardworking hours on my hair I was almost in tears with happiness because of how it turned out. She literally took the optimistic vision of the look I wanted right out of my head and made it real! I cannot hype her (or any of the other wonderful staff) up enough. Kyle at the front desk was awesome too! I wish I knew each of their names so I could give them all a personal shout out, but regardless they are ALL wonderful. I came from over a thousand miles away just for this specific salon and I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!! I would do it again in a heartbeat because the beautiful look for my hair that I thought was never possible Grace made happen in one appointment. I will recommend this salon and Grace to everyone and anyone from now on. This place is a literal diamond

Best haircut I've gotten in Denver! I've lived in Denver for just a little over 3 years now and I've been bouncing from salon to salon. All of the cuts I've received have been average at best (and even one disaster) As a result, I've straight up neglected my hair because it was such a burden to search for a new stylist. Then I happened upon My Hair Trip... I booked a cut and oil treatment with Cindee and I am obsessed with my hair! All of the products she used smelled so good, and my hair and scalp feel amazing. Cindee was fantastic. Not only is she very friendly, but she listened to my wishes and hair concerns. As a result, I ended up with exactly the style I wanted! The salon itself is also wonderful. It's in the heart of the Santa Fe art district and has a such a cool vibe. I love that they put a huge emphasis on sustainability, recycling and organic, local products. I already plan on booking a balayage in about a month. I highly recommend this salon!

I'm very pleased to say I finally found a great salon. Healthy products, beautiful work, wonderful atmosphere, and perhaps most importantly- wonderful stylists! I went into my appointment not really knowing what I wanted but I knew I had go get rid of my old highlights and try something new. I had a vague idea off of some pictures that I showed my stylist Melissa. Together we discussed how much of a change I wanted and what styles I liked. We decided on a blondish bolliage (excuse the spelling) and the end result was my new beautifully colored hair that matched my skin tone just right and a nice simple low maintenance cut. Exactly what I needed. The products; which smelled amazing and are organic, made my hair feel super healthy and gave it a nice bounce. Overall, I am very pleased with my hair and the hospitality of Melissa. This salon is officially my favorite !

Grace took care of me inside and out. A wonderful hairdresser that helped my modern mullet dreams come true! The cut included a hair washing complete with head rub and a hot towel for the face. They also have a great line of products that she was knowlegable about. The products are a bit pricey but they're also organic which is a nice touch. Thanks again and I'll see you in eight weeks!

I had such an amazing experience at My Hair Trip Salon last week. They run right on time and have extremely friendly front of house staff who immediately asked me if I would like a beverage. I was immediately at ease when I met salon owner Nicole and my color specialist Stephanie. They were both knowledgeable and passionate about not only the salon itself but the brand the salon creates. It was refreshing to walk into a salon and not be hit by the smell of chemicals but instead the aroma of lovely organic shampoos, conditioners and other treatments. While sitting under the dryer for a deep conditioning treatment, I was able to look around at the eclectic furniture, funky art and jewelry, and totally organic products that make My Hair Trip Salon such an enjoyable and entertaining spot. Because I have a thick head of hair, I immediately apologized to my colorist about the time it would take to complete. She immediately alleviated my nerves and completed a full highlight in a swift and thorough fashion. I was never bored during the appointment, between my friendly stylist, owner Nicole, and the artwork I could even have stayed longer and not seen all of the captivating artwork. By the end of the appointment, not only was I sold on my stylist (though I will certainly be back to see Stephanie for another cut and color) but I was fully engrossed in what the salon sets out to create, a green and organic, color and style experience. My hair felt healthier after the color treatment and looked and smelled amazing as well. I would highly recommend My Hair Trip Salon to any of my friends. Not only is it a downright enjoyable way to pamper yourself, it is the most responsible way to do it!

Whenever I'm in for hair services I always feel like I could just sit and hang out for hours. Nicole cuts my hair masterfully, always with a great blend of what I'm looking for and her own suggestions. I get compliments from people in the grocery store, at professional conferences, on planes, you name it. Amazing space! I loved the vibrant colors and the heart that you feel walking in. I got an essential oil treatment on my hair, and my hair felt so soft and smooth and was super shiny. It also smelled amazing, which made me not want to wash it as long as I could wait! I even liked my hair COLOR better after the treatment, and the blowout made me feel like I was in a hair commercial. I kept flipping it around! My coloring stylist was Cindee, whom I could not speak more highly of. She is so knowledgeable about Organic Colour Systems (and all things hair and organic!) and matched my hair color better than any previous stylists. She was so sweet, easy to talk to, and made the whole experience so enjoyable. The vibe at the salon was also great; the staff set a wonderful tone from the moment you walk through the door and I loved all the local artwork and jewelry on display. I looked up a five star solan and hair trip organic came up . I have been going to a Solan for years unhappy with the dye and chemicals they use on my hair which burned my scalp and left it hurting for a week afraid of going anywhere else . I have never had better results the dye used for my hair left a cool gentle feeling on my scalp and couldn’t be happier with color by grace and was afraid of getting a bad hair cut on my thin hair but Jason was amazing he listen and heard what I was asking for and was sooooo pleased with the results loved the whole experience never felt rushed in anyway I felt pampered. My experience at ‘My Trip Organic Hair Salon’, was a last-minute rescue before the holidays. To be honest, I am a problematic customer. I have severe chemical sensitives due to a long-term chronic illness which makes the use of highlights a bit challenging, to say the least. In an attempt to regain my original hair color and keep from having a reaction, I attempt an organic solution at home. After 5 failed attempts, my hair looked more like Killer Frost, Storm, or Don, off ‘People of Earth’, instead of those lovely strawberry golden highlights that once graced my coiffure. I was at a loss as to what to do until we found ‘My Trip Organic Hair Salon’. Everyone was so accommodating and worked at length to assure I wouldn’t have a reaction to the processes used. There was an added degree of difficulty due to my being in a wheelchair, but the entire store assisted in setting things up so I was comfortable throughout the appointment. Mellissa was just a doll and used her advanced expertise to take my hair back down to the base color and then add the proper lights so I rolled out of the store feeling pleased with my hair and once again looking forward to capturing the holidays in photos. I am happy to report, even though my allergies are severe, I did not have a reaction and my hair color is delightful. Add to all that, a fabulous style. Melissa listened intently, even though my explanation came out more like bad code than true directions, but she was able to glean from my muddled description just want I wanted and the cut ended up being exactly as I had hoped. I made sure to schedule my next appointment before we left and am looking forward to my next visit!
