I've been going to Brittany the last three years and let me just say, if you are thinking of trying out a new stylist, don't even think twice. She is amazing with color, cuts, curly hair and all. She did my hair and makeup on my wedding day and is so personable. I've referred at least three of my friends to her, and now they are all converts and are seeing her too. As long as I live in Denver I will not hesitate to continue going to her for my hair.

What can I say about Hair People? When I walk in the door, I am greeted by name by the staff. I am greeted by the warm ambiance and there is always good music playing. There are water, tea and coffee as well as snacks available. I love being shampooed! This is a treat for me and my neck and head are massaged then as well. And most of all, the haircuts are top grade at a reasonable price! What can I say about Hair People? I love the place.

I found Hair People as a visitor to Denver when another salon mixed up my appointment on the day of a family wedding. After my frantic call for help, Maree kindly took me in and, alongside other excellent members of her team, did an exquisite job on my color; beautiful, natural, rich blonde highlights with a lifted base. Her salon is warm and welcoming and beautiful - each stylist works at a unique, vintage wood station and a spirit of friendliness and an air of expertise permeates the salon. They truly want you to have an uplifting experience every time you come to the salon. Brittany is also a gem, on top of being a really skilled stylist. I just moved here from Connecticut and needed a new stylist. I walked in and got an appointment for the next week with Brittany. I just recently realized I have curly hair and I wanted to learn how to style it. Brittany was so helpful and taught me how to use my DevaCurl products the correct way. She was able to match my roots and added a few highlights for an amazingly dramatic look. I can't tell you how much I love my hair. I am so happy I found my new hair salon! I love this place!

I just moved to the area and needed to find a new stylist. I have thick hair, but it's not fussy, and I like to keep it simple without a lot of product. I initially selected this salon due to the positive reviews. It's a cute little place with antique furniture. Now for the actual salon service itself: I wasn't impressed. I think my stylist was somewhat new, because she seemed nervous and other staff kept popping over to check on me and look at what she was doing. The cut itself took much longer than usual, to the point where she hadn't cut enough length off but I had already been there for so long that I decided not to say anything just because I didn't have another hour to give to the appointment. I told her I didn't care for a lot of product or curl, but at the end she applied the Deva Curl products and used the diffuser without asking for my thoughts on how I usually tend to style it. To be fair, I could have said that I don't like the moussed curl look after she started applying products, but it had taken so much time that I didn't want to prolong it. I think I was there nearly two hours for a simple cut. Overall the stylist was very friendly, but I don't think I'll return.
