While I'm not a student of the school, if I were going down the salon or spa career path, these would be the first guys I'd talk to. I've worked with the folks at W Academy for the last year and their commitment to their students is ridiculously transparent. Enviable really. If you were thinking about taking classes to become a hair stylist, colorist or leaning towards the skincare/make-up side, you'd be silly not to go at least check these guys out. I've personally spoken with students that had transferred from other programs with some of the big brand name schools in the East Bay and each were 100% sure that they had made the right decision. So enough with the plug... these guys are absolutely amazing. Definitely worth an hour of your time to go talk with them if your goal is to become a successful hair stylist or skincare/make-up specialist.

While I'm not a fan of profiling nor discrimination for any reason, I understand that it exists. Because of my advancing age, I've had occasion to be subjected to it. So, in order to advance my current career and livelihood, I cut and color my hair at W Academy. Yes, the work is done by students under the mindful watch of very talented instructors and so one must endure long appointment times. It is well worth the wait.
