This is not your typical Supercuts... the ladies are friendly and welcoming... they have created an atmosphere where they greet and treat each other, and guests, like family. Whike visiting the area from Atlanta, i had my hair colored on a rainy Saturday afternoon, and marveled at how kind they are to everyone, and so respectful to each other. It was an absolute pleasure. And my hair came out fabulous

STAY FAR AWAY!!! asked for a TRIM of less than an inch, just enough to take off spilt ends, and she immediately lobbed off more than 4 inches. Then it was so uneven she had to take off two more. So upset and cried for days. This is wat this place has such a bad rap!!

I hate getting my haircut. Rosa was very pleasant and listened to what I wanted. She made some suggestions but didn't press anything on me. This location is nice and clean. The other staff seemed very nice. Parking can be a little tricky at lunch hour with so many food places sharing the same lot. I definely recommend and will be going back.

Only one stylist on duty at noon on Monday. I don't think I've ever seen just one stylist available anywhere at any time. Sat down with my son to get his haircut, waiting our turn since the stylist was busy with someone. A mother and daughter came in after us. Assumed they would go after us. I was incorrect. The stylist informed us that they were there earlier so they would be served first. Where I come from if you leave your place in line you lose your place in line. We went to sports clips instead. They have a sign in sheet so it's at least more obvious who will be next in line.

After moving to South Beach I have been a regular at this Supercuts. I have almost always had a great experience getting a good cut. Service is usually fast and everyone I have had speaks English. Recently I starting color blending and have found Maria is absolutely the best at cut and color blending. I have had many complements.

Buy a hair clipper, cut one of your hand and you can apply for a job at Supercuts... The guy doesn't make any effort to understand what you want and the result is very bad. I always ask for a very basic regular haircut and I didn't think anyone could mess it up until I visited Supercuts.

I come in here once every 3 months to get a haircut. My hair is very thick and grows very fast - I also always sport bangs. My stylist was Kaylee, and she was AMAZING. Probably the first time in my life I've gotten my haircut exactly the way I envisioned it. I'm super happy about it! Will be coming back and requesting her.

I have followed Stacy from one Supercuts salon to another over the past 4 years. She is not only great at cutting hair but she is very creative. She also colors my hair and gives me great advice on new products. I now buy all my hair products at Supercuts. The best thing about going to Stacy- I don’t have to say a thing - she knows exactly what I want and all I do is sit back and relax - I also get great conversation and lots of laughs. I have been to this supercuts before and had great service. This visit was far from that. The minute we arrived we received attitude. We were there to get family cuts so it was a group of five. We had the kids go first. Stacy the "stylist" took my grandson and my daughter was standing there trying to explain what she wanted as he has very curly hair. Stacy basically ignored what my daughter wanted and did what she wanted. When we questioned her she said we should let her do what she wants and we might like it! Really, how rude and terrible customer service! When she said that I told her that if we don't like it we cannot glue the hair back on and she should listen to the mother. She did not, buzzed his hair, got mad and left it unfinished and uneven. Said she would not cut any of our hair, like we would let her lol. Terrible service and attitude! Beware of Stacy at all cost!!! I will be calling corporate for sure!!!!!

A possible short wait time, but great service. Our two boys 9 and 14 were somewhat grumpy having to sit and wait for their turn to get the haircut. But they came out wide smiles happy about how they looked. Really good service. Worth the short wait.

Stacy really needs a good lesson in customer service. She was very unwelcoming when my family came in. As if we interupted her doing nothing. She proceeded to argue about every little thing with my wife and mother. We expected to get 5 hair cuts. We got 1 and 1/2. Stacy herself argued with my wife about my sons hair cut and destroy my poor 6 year olds head with little reguard for our directions. She carlessly shaves most of his hair down to a 4 when we like to keep more of his hair atop longer to style his curles. She mowed all those down without a second breath. Then as my wife tried to correct her told my wife, " why dont we try it this way". As if she had any right to say such a thing. By far one of, if not the worst, salon experiance we have ever had. We will not be returning especially with employees like this. Just terrible.

Im currently in beauty school. I went in for a blow dry for a party i had later on in the day and the lady didnt do a good job at all...she was very quick like she was just trying to get me in and out of her chair...she didnt talk to me at all...she didnt ask how I wanted my hair blow dried and she didnt know how to blow dry my bangs at all...all in all it was a waste of money, I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Ian and Stacy were so friendly, very helpful, and very kind. I was a walk-in and they were super accommodating too! (Although that may have been luck...) Ian helped my flat, lifeless hair look great with some layers and dry product. He listened to my needs, and made me feel at ease. The products he suggested have been great (if you have flat hair like me, give Hair Shake a try it will change your life). I came in for a basic trim and came out feeling better than ever. Five stars, would recommend and will go again!

Never have I been asked "what water temperature do you prefer, luke warm, warm or hot" - I was shocked because I enjoy warm water and she gave a great scalp massage! The salon was also very clean!

I had my hair cut at home before coming to Miami. I knew when I got here in the warmer weather that my hair was too thick to dry or style easily. I read reviews of Supercuts on Washington Ave and decided I would give it a try. The salon personnel were very friendly and the space was clean and comfortable. Barbara gave me a great haircut. She thinned out the bulk and gave me much needed layers that have made my hair easier to style. She was very patient, taking care to give me exactly what I wanted. A great hairstyle with a stylist who genuinely wanted me to walk out of the salon happy all for under $20! I made a great choice going there and asking for Barbara.

Finally a good haircut at an affordable price in SoBe. I tried this place more out of convenience, and what a surprise. Nice people. Good prices. Good haircuts. I had Esmerelda cut my hair, and it was the best haircut I have ever had. Now I always go back, because I will never let anyone cut my hair again except for Esmerelda. She is patient but not slow. She speaks both english and Spanish fluently, and is very, very nice. You won't regret it. Go here.

While visiting in Miami Beach, I was having a particularly bad hair day. I researched options in the area and was impressed by the rating by Supercuts and the comments regarding Natalie. I was planning to go from mid-length to super-short. Natalie was wonderful! She discussed my hair type and recommended the best short cut for me. She also took her time with the cut. I think this is the best short cut I have ever had! I wish she were closer to our home.

I used to go to Supercuts for years, now they post different hours on the door with a paper..I have come by twice 10 min before "new hours" and they said sorry we are closed and one time at 7pm,one hour before fake closing time, and the door was locked!! I guess they were hiding in the back.. do yourself a favor, no one cares, don't go to Supercuts in Bear! Bad business !

Arrived without appointment. Advised someone called would be ahead of me. No problem. In the interim another customer arrives. I am told...not asked..that he would be put ahead of me. Because one stylist had to go to lunch..they couldn't figure out how to still take me first. Not rocket science. More importantly the dark haired gentleman was rude and short and cut me off. Very unprofessional atmosphere. Didn't care at all that I was bothered or upset. So. No. Would not go back.

I’ve been using this Supercuts for almost a year now. I was in the military for over a decade and hadn’t experienced longer hair during that time for obvious reasons. Amy helped me this last time - after my hair reached a long enough length - and was INCREDIBLY helpful and patient. I went in yesterday to get my hair dyed and cut. The woman that I got foiled my hair to my face and neck. I told her that she was dying my face and neck and she told me that it was the only way my hair could be done. Had plans to go out that night and couldn't b/c my face and neck had been completely died a dark brown and red. She also didn't want to listen to directions for my cut she just wanted to do it her way. When washing the dye out of my hair she neglected the roots and left it at my hairline. She dyed my hair, cut it and 'washed' it, no styling and she didn't even blow dry it completely but I got charged $120. I will never be going to this place ever again.

Only doing one star because I'm unable to do zero stars. They only enjoyable experience had in this salon was when Jason did our hair. The last time we went we had to deal with Stacy, her attitude and incompetence. Will never return to this location and have advised every person I know interested in supercuts to go to a different location and never to deal with Stacy, no matter the location. Have heard from three other supercuts employees, at different locations, about how they are not surprised because she is always a terror and always unprofessional. Sucks because creatures like her drive away business for the actual stylists that do a good job in that location. *EDIT* After writing my initial review, an employee from that location informed me of how because of the bad experience we had at that location, Stacy went crying all over her salon, to all of her employees (Yes, disgustingly, she is the manager) and clients, not only soliciting sympathy, because she was just so down trodden, but also that if they cared about good haircuts or jobs then they need to write positive reviews about her. You can clearly see the slew of "positive" reviews increased from the time my incident took place (a few weeks ago) to now. Further exemplifying the emphasis of unprofessional behavior that she specializes in.

Would be one star but I've been going there for the last 3 years with no problems. I started taking my nephews there and we all get the same haircut, 1 on the sides faded with the top trimmed. Last time one ended up with a buzz cut, the other nothing remotely similar to a fade, and I had to coach the stylist through as she seemed to be in a big hurry. I left with an uneven mustache also. Yesterday, I went there and had Levi cut my hair, and it was by far the best experience I have ever had anywhere. He was friendly, talkative, helpful, he wanted my hair to look nice. I recently had my hair colored and cut at super cuts in Miami Beach. I recently moved close by and needed it done last minute and considering that you dont need an appointment and every place else was booked because it was right around thanksgiving. I decided to give the place a try. Giving my background working in salons I am familiar with what should happen and what should not. 1. I asked for a full foil highlight and trim- I wait 20 minutes to be told the woman that was going to do the treatment only knows cap color..I told them I only have foil(they should have informed me when I asked for the service that not everyone there was trained in coloring) another note they only spoke to each other in spanish in which I dont know any spanish. 2.So I wait another twenty minutes for a woman that says she can do (foil)- she does not speak any english does not ask me what I want in color or cut and goes to the back room and comes back I aske her blonde to make sure she says yes and starts literally slapping it on her technique was horrible and I could tell you had rarely ever used foils. I was never put under the dryer nor had she ever asked me when the last time was that I colored my hair. 3. when I got home I noticed that the roots were horrible and did not make a difference at all in the color which is a sign it didnt stay on long enough, considering it took her over two hours and was sloppy with the color and was flinging everywhere and the cut is uneven. it was not much cheaper then a higher end salon it was 150 dollars, and she did not completely dry my hair either... I would never go there again.

None of them just know how to cut hair. The reasons why i used to go there it s because is superclose and of course cheap. Tha job i need is very very very easy...just shave evenly half of my head..no blowdry no dye no haircut..nothing!!! I fought this could be the hair cuttery indicated for the service i needed !!! Nope.they just cannot even shave without making holes,they cant go straight with the machine,they cant even do same sideburns on both sides!!! And lots of times they cut locks of the other half of my hair even if i would warn them! Last time was my last one ever..and i want to specify that i have been served by a different person every time!!! So none of them is ABLE to do a simple shave. The only hairstylist who would deserve this title was amber but,of course she doesnt work there anymore.avoid that place.

The stylist butchered my hair. I have medium length hair as a guy, showed the stylist photos of my last cut and recieved, more or less, a bowl cut. No layering, no style, just a damn mop on my head. WOW WHAT A JOKE! I called ahead bc you can make a 'same day' appointment. I told them I need to get in as soon as possible and was told a 4:30 was the earliest possible. I went 15 min early with my son and no one was in there so I figured we would be next. Two other people walked in after my son and I and did not call ahead or have appointments as I could hear them clear as day. They took BOTH people before my son and I finally said something to the woman who was working. She said...ohhhh I put the walk-ins in the 4:20 slot in the computer. Ummm?!?! It is now 4:45?! This place has fallen apart. The good people have left and there is now a high turnover rate. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The last time I took my kid here he came out looking like a mushroom head. Poor guy. If you go there... good luck

Horrible!!! The old guy in there humiliated my daughter! All we asked for was a wash and a blow dry. Now I know we are African-American and so did he! If you don't want to do something, don't! He poked my daughter in her ear more than one time with the blow dryer and finally flipped her diamond earring out of her ear. WTfire! She got upset and walked out of the store. During the washing of her hair, he say's " Oh my, I will do my best." He didn't! He just kept making one rude comment after another. Word to the wise, Do Not patronize this establishment if you are a person of color. I thought all stylist had to learn how to do all textures of hair. Never again! 89+

I went at 740 pm. 20 minutes before closing. Both employees complained about it in front of me. Finally after 5 minutes of colplaining and discussing who will cut my hair, one lady decided to do it. She did a horrible job of cutting my hair and never even bothered to show how my haircut looked from behind. It looked horrible.

Stood at the register, in sight of both stylists for 15 minutes before I was checked in. One stylist even came over to answer the phone and didn't ask me what I needed. Then she checked out someone before looking at me but STILL didn't ask what I needed. I had to ASK to be checked in. Ridiculous. This hair cut better be good.

Worst hair cut I've ever gotten. Came here because I thought Kelly still worked here but she doesn't so one of the other girls (didn't catch her name) cut my hair. She apparently does not know how to do face framing and now my hair is super choppy and looks like I've been trying to grow my bangs out (I've never had bangs though!). What a waste of $15. Both her and the manager said they can't do anything to fix it so now I will be paying another $15 somewhere else (next day!) to get this mess fixed.

Me and my friend went for hair cut. The lady who served me can't understand English. Moreover my friend had a very bad experience. She can't understand what he saying and left hair with half hair cut, of course she didn't charge for that. Very bad morning for us.

It’s incredible how management works against it’s own goals. Whilst the staff members are dedicated professionals through and through, there is no way they are capable of servicing the clientele when payroll is restricted the way it is at this location thus limiting the service standards. Kudos to the employees who put up a nice front faced with the volume they have to deal with. Two stylists on a super busy Sunday? Hope they get better treatment and ownership reconsiders its bottom line.

I've never had a bad haircut or bad service. Every time I've been they remember me even though I only go 2-3x a year. I'm a very quiet person and they are really great with no trying to force small talk on me. My husband loves his cut by Stacy, everytime he dances when he comes home-he's so happy. Stacy was away recently and he went elsewhere, he was so unhappy even after he went back to that place for them to fix it. He said he'll never do that again and will drive out of his way/use up his lunch just to make sure only Stacy cuts his hair. Stacy does a great job and pleases the very hard to please.

We moved to Colorado last year and was trying to find a place to get the whole family of four a haircut. I´ll put it simply. The experience with Stacy, one of the hairstylists, is as perfect as it can be. She is calm, comprehensive, professional and will have a good mood and a nice smile to work with you. You just can´t go wrong with her. And the whole salon is as professional as you could expect. Amazing experience!

Had my grandson"s haircut done today. Been coming here for 3 years now and would mostly rate a 5 plus but today the technician was not paying attention to what she was doing and cut his skin with her scissors and it was bleeding. We told her ahead of time to not place scissors on his skin or ears as he will skerm and she did not listen to us about style. We asked for just a trim and she layered the entire head. Cut way too much, it was very choppy looking too!! Since, you have to have a different technician every time you go there without an appointment, we are planning on making an appointments with the one that cuts more safely and listens to us, the one that does an amazing job, thank you, Jeanette!
