Rex is absolutely amazing. I have had a hard time finding a stylist that I trust because I have thick, coarse hair and I've had some terrible haircuts in my past. Never with Rex. He is an incredibly talented artist who knows how to work with all hair types. He is completely understanding of what you need and want and always works to give that to you. Even when you aren't sure about what you want, he will guide you and make you look your best. He is a true professional. If you have stumbled across this review and are considering making an appointment, don't hesitate. You won't be disappointed!

It is such a treat to be in the care of Rex! If you want to be pampered, listened to, and cared about, go see Rex! As many women, I struggle with low-self esteem in regards to my appearance. I am often intimidated going to a stylist and feel guilty for not knowing what to do or for not taking the time to take care of my hair the way I should. Rex made me feel comfortable and confident. He is incredibly knowledgeable on all of the best and latest techniques and methods to create a true work of art! I felt so fancy! I was able to put my trust in him, completely. He followed up with me after the appointment to make sure I was satisfied. Rex is officially MY stylist! Until now, I haven't found someone who I wanted to go back to. So glad to have found Rex! Oh - and my hair is fabulous! So many compliments! :) It's nice to feel pretty!

The best way I could describe my horrible cut was a "mushroom". At my first visit with Rex he sat down with me, asked me my goals, and laid out a plan for how we were going to get there. Moved to NWA from Northern NJ and was on the hunt for a stylist at the caliber I was used to living so close to NYC. I'm low maintenance with my hair (I don't color and like it styled w/in 20 mins), with that being said my hair is fine/wavy but I have a ton of it! Rex is a true hair stylist professional; he not only knows hair but is genuinely interested in providing you with a style that is going to make your life easier while at the same time have you looking great. It's been 2 weeks since my cut and I still absolutely love it! I've had my fair share of trying new stylists due to moving around, so trust me when I say you will not regret your decision of letting Rex work on your hair!

"Reflect your personal style"! Rex is the first stylist that has ever made me feel like I could actually do this! Within minutes of sitting in his chair, I realized I had not had anyone ask me about my hair, what I liked, or even why I parted my hair the way I did...Immediately, I realized that my many years of past rushed six week appointments had left me frustrated and not really sure why or what I was doing to my hair. I knew that I needed something different, but until Rex, I felt like it was me that had to tell the "professional" that I was seeing what they should do. Rex taught me how to have beautiful hair again, and I feel like I got a piece of my beauty back that has been gone for a long time! Rex has amazing products that smell like heaven and make my hair shiny and beautiful! I was visiting family in Bentonville when I went to see REX. I am from the Phoenix area, and traditionally I have been very picky and demanding about the way my hair is done. Even after I give thorough instructions to most stylists, I always find something I am unhappy with when I get home. My experience with Rex was very different. I could tell he knew what he was doing, and I let him take the reigns with my hair. He did an awesome job of covering my gray, which was out of control before. I love my new color - he gave me something that I have never had before that is very complimentary to my skin tone. And the new cut was anything but mechanical; it was relaxing, well thought-out, and framed my face so nicely. I have had tons of compliments, and I can't wait to work with him again. One of the nice things, since I am not in that area often enough, is that Rex was able to refer me to another stylist that I can trust in the Phoenix area. It's so nice to work with someone who knows what they are doing and who has a network that I can trust. Thank you so much!

Superb. I don't think I have ever been so pleased with a hair treatment than I was with the treatment I received from Rex. I've been twice now, once for a keratin treatment which took my hair from rough and frizzy to smooth and amazingly easy to care for. Then I had a cut and clear color applied, which brightened my hair and made the grey significantly less noticeable. (I'm kind of averse to coloring my hair at this point in my life, so the clear color really boosted the shine and color of my hair.) I also had him cut my kids hair and I have been extremely happy with everything he does. Rex is extremely customer service and detail oriented. I just felt so confident because he took the time to understand my hair before getting to work on it. I feel like Bentonville just got a shot in the arm of California style, and I'm so glad I tried him out! You won't be sorry!

I asked for a trim and balayage...session was with Lauren. She was friendly and accommodating, however I cancelled further appointments after getting home and finding multiple chunks of colored hair, harsh lines, and a bad cut. I had planned to have her fix it, but I can’t bring myself to go back. I wish it had turned out better and I hate to leave this review, but hopefully it’ll benefit others to read this and keep them from having a similar experience.
