I've gone to see Brittany twice and I will never go anywhere else again! She does an amazing job working with my very thick and curly hair. She gave me the exact cut I envisioned for myself and made it so manageable! You will not regret going here! She is so friendly and easy to talk to as well.

I can't believe it's taken me this long to finally write a review... but I've been going to Brittany for the past two years and have never found a hair stylist that I trust more! Not only did she successfully take me from long red hair to short purple/platinum blonde, she's continued to get the right color and style every time. She's also the first stylist that is actually okay with "do whatever you think looks good." Many stylists seem to be a bit afraid of this, and possibly aren't creative enough... but she always manages to offer a good idea and walk me through it before executing it - and I love it every time! I actually moved to Chicago last year which is why I haven't been able to go to Brittany lately, and let me tell you.... I've tried three different stylists who have all butchered my hair. Like, I've never had worse hair, and this was all at reputable salons (that all charged way more than Brittany, by the way). And that being said, Brittany is very very well priced, especially for the quality and attention to detail that she provides. She won't send you out the door unless she absolutely loves your hair, and her haircuts always seem to look good even months later! (Which she does on purpose :) she tries to cut hair so that it will transform into a new style that still looks good with growth). I could really go on and on - she's by far the best stylist that I have ever gone to, and after all of the horrible experiences in Chicago, I'm debating more and more on simply flying into Arizona just to have my hair in her care! So with all of that said, stop reading reviews and go book an appointment!

Swoon Salon Studio is my new go-to. The studio is meticulously kept with local artists work, R&Co products and the overwhelming support for other small businesses, but the staff is truly what makes the place! Heather originally converted my years of root-to-tip black box dye over to a beautiful copper that looks very natural. I've been going to her every since. (I also had my mom tag along to get her brows microbladed by Heather, she can hardly turn her phone on so a review is not happening, but they turned out great!) Yesterday, I had a refresh color by Heather and a cut and style by Brittany. I was on Cloud 9 having two great artists working on my oh-so-tortured hair. During my cut/styling I learned more about my hair than I had ever known before. I didn't even know porous hair was a thing... We consulted on the best hair care after going through what my current routine was. The best part? Not salesly, 100% informative. She put this dry shampoo paste in my hair (R+CO badlands dry shampoo paste) and she didn't have to say anymore. I've slept on it, my hair still isn't oily and I HAVE THE EASIEST VOLUME EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVER! My hair just DOES NOT cooperate when it comes to volume, they're all flat by the time I make it wherever it is that I'm going. I've tried regular dry shampoo in the past, but they seemed to make my problem worse and I felt like I was crop dusting pesticides onto my head, which is not the feeling I'm looking to have before going out. I could go on and on, but I won't. If you're not visiting Swoon Salon Studio you're really screwing yourself!
