I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Salon D'Shayn! I worked with Bret for my cut and color and he did an amazing job. I felt so comfortable as he throughly explained the realistic options to achieve the look I was going for and walked me through each step of the process. He gave me product tips and home care instructions to help keep my hair as healthy as possible in between visits. My hair looks beautiful and I can't wait to go back for my next visit!

The vibe here is amazing, friendly but professional; the Midtown location perfect, convenient for the urban workplace & bordering neighborhoods; but best of all, Bao is a scissor artist, sculpting the right amount from just the right places. My hair looks good when I leave, lasts (with just a spritz of water) for days, & grows out great! Love Salon D'Shayn!

Came to the salon on recommendation of a close and trusted friend and it was a great experience. I finally decided to have my first boyzilian and was excited and nervous. D'Lisa kept me calm, gave simple instructions, and worked efficiently and effectively. She made small talk to keep the mood loose and did a fantastic job taking care of business. Omg!! I forgot to write a review, but the service and cleanliness + the environment was perfect!! I went from dark brown medium hair to platinum blonde in one sitting of two sessions! The results were incredible and definitely would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Karla nailed my goal and I thank her for it!!

I truly love this salon. I have always been treated courteously and promptly. The second I walk in I am greeted and asked if I need something to drink. Vanessa, my hair stylist is the absolute BEST. I always get compliments on my hair. The owner, D'Lisa is a riot! She makes me laugh and I love getting my waxing services done with her. She is also super philanthropic with her business and always donates to my 501c3 animal advocacy charity. I cannot foresee going anywhere else now.

I randomly found this Salon on google and I am so glad that I did. They took me in on a Sunday as a walk in and am extremely happy with my new hair. Bao was my stylist and I will be coming back to him for sure. The place is very cute, chic, modern and most important CLEAN! Everyone is very friendly and they even have a complimentary snack bar that has coffee and tea (the good kind)

Best experience of my life! Was super nervous about spending the time and money on a professional to cut my hair but my whole experience changed over just a simple walk in on a monday afternoon. Demitri did a excellent job all i said is do your thing and he did. Well, I wouldn't know how great their services are supposed to be in accordance with the reviewers, but in the area of being proactive in communication, it's a straight fail!!! Google shows the salon being open for business on Sunday, so I called several times prior to taking a LYFT to get there, figured wow they must be really busy, they can't get to the phone. I just needed to get a manicure, since my schedule was tight and I didn't have much time in PHX to scout around, figured maybe they can squeeze me in before its too late. Well lo and behold, upon my arrival I see 2 ladies, each styling the only 2 customers in the salon. They were not overburdened with a ton of customers, so why couldn't the phone be answered for business???? Which in turn would have saved me an unnecessary LYFT ride to the salon, just to be informed that their nail technician was not in today! Business 101(small or otherwise), Answer Your Phone When It Rings! ☎

I decided to grow my hair out long a few years ago and realized I am not long hair savy, so I had to find a salon to help tame my mane. Salon D' Shayn not only helped me not have huge 80's hair but they have helped me keep it looking healthy. I am one of those guys that tries to get in last minute so I have seen Lydia, Vanessa and Bret. It doesn't matter who I see they are all great.

They do great haircuts and styling and before the haircut they wash your hair and give an amazing scalp massage. Just remember your getting talented Professional Service. If I was rich I’d give it a five star . Gave it a four star because they are pricey and unfortunately I couldn’t afford to do a cut and color on my hair. I was lucky however to get a same day appointment so when calling them be sure to leave a message if you get there voicemail- They Do Return Your Call . For me they returned my call within 1 hour.

Love this Little Salon. Vanessa as been doing my Hair for a year. I was referred to her by my long blonde lion mane hair friend. I Indecisively showed her pixie cuts from my Iphone, using descriptions like artsy-bohemian, and just make me look taller and prettier. Incredible is an under statement. This women does hair Miracles. She also fixed my other friends hair when she decided blonde at midnight was a good idea.

A friend and I had an appointment for a Brazillian Wax on a Thursday afternoon. This would be the 1st wax for both of us. We arrived at 12pm for the 1st appointment. Once in the waxing room, I was told that the hair was not long enough to wax. When originally booking the appointment, I was told to let the hair grow for 5 days. So, I went 7 days just to be sure. The owner informed me that the usual time period is 10-14 days. I told her the name of the associate who gave me the wrong information. Once I got to the front, she told me she spoke with the associate. I was told that the associate denied giving the information that was given to me. So, basically, she was calling me a liar. It was very unfortunate that I was given incorrect information, got a babysitter and paid a babysitter and was not able to have the services done. I would have scheduled myself out another week had I been informed correctly. It was a wasted day and wasted money. Please train your employees on proper time frames and information to give to new customers. It would save a headache and a poor review.

I went to salon D’ Shayn twice and D’ Shayn is very kind and professional. However, I think she works too quickly. The first time I went there it was my first Brazilian wax, so I thought the fact that hair was missed must be normal. But the second time I went, I was in there for less than 15 minutes and even more hair was missed than the first time. I would rather be in there for longer and get all the hair, than be in there for 10 minutes and have a bunch of hair missed.
