The pedicures are great and they do the best dip nails in town. I like the fact that they use the plastic liners in the foot baths because no one wants nail fungus. The best part about this place is that children must be receiving a service or they're not allowed. When I go to relax and get a pedicure the last thing I want is kids running and screaming around the nail salon while their parent(s) is receiving services. Not only is it a hazard to the kids, because they could get into something that might harm them, but it's annoying to people who want to get their nails done and relax in a quiet and tranquil environment.

Every time I get waxed here it’s either too hot of wax or very harsh chemicals but my skin reacts terribly. Tried it three times same result only at this salon. Also for a pedicure with gel polish it’s 90$! If you want your eyebrows waxed perfectly and a good pedicure for not a crazy amount of money go to elegant nails in North Pole. Always amazing job and low price!

I went in for a fill. The girl burned me with the filing tool, she made my nails crooked, and took too much off. I had one nail that needed a tip, and by the time I got home, the tip had fallen off. My nails are now misshaped, crooked, and too short, burned nail beds, And I'm still dealing with a missing nail. I will never go back again.

Would not recommend. First time here, I thought getting the bottom of your feet scrubbed was included... but I suppose not. if your nail is ingown or you want your nails shaped, this also isn't the place for you. Quickest, poorest quality pedicure I've ever had. Although, the salon itself is nice. Won't be returning.

I love my nails!! I decided to treat me and my daughters to some manicures! We came in on a Saturday without an appointment, but they tried their best to fit us in. I kind of feel bad for them, they were so packed but they still tried to satisfy everyone that came in. Anyways, the wait was long so we were told to come back in about an hour. When we got started, I decided to try the shellac polish. They had soo many colors, I was told it should last at least two weeks. For me, it has been about six weeks and they are still on my nails! Its crazy, I love them! My daughters got free flowers painted on their nails too, so cute!! Next time, I will make an appointment in advance because they are always pretty busy. Good place for some relaxing mother and daughter time..

I absolutely love US NAILS!! every time I go I am absolutely happy with my nails and they always last forever! Today I jammed my nail in my locker at work and broke it off. I went into get it fixed fully expecting to pay for it because it was my fault. They got me in super fast and she did not charge me for fixing right now! That’s awesome service if you ask me !!!! My nail tec even told me last time I went in I should go a little longer between fills... I go every 2 weeks but she said maybe closer to 3! I love how they always take care of me and my little girl and will continue to take my business there.

This is the first time I've ever written a review. That might show how bad this place is in itself. I actually and sadly made the mistake of trying this place twice. If you go in wondering why there is no one else in this huge facility...it's because they can't make your nails look good. Both times my nails were misshapen and crooked worth one side longer than the other on some nails. The first time I went my nails were French tip. They didn't go all the way back in the nail bed and so a week later I had to get them done again especially because they were also coming up near the need of the nail and the white tip was yellowing and I don't smoke or anything. The second time I just got a solid color. After trying to get the guy to fix a couple misshapen nails be said they would look better after the powder so I still had two funky looking nails. They also change slightly more than other places.

I spent way too much on nails I'm not happy with. My daughter's polish literally fell off of her nails on the same day she got it done. My "ombré" polis isn't ombré at all. It's more like splotchy lighter color on the tips of my nails. My favorite was when the tech said, "let's put some glitter on them so they'll look better"... I'll be continuing my hunt for a decent tech elsewhere.

Went in for my lash extensions today absolutely fell IN LOVE. I don’t know why I’ve never been here in the two years I’ve been up here. The place is well organized, clean, EVERYTHING MATCHES. It’s VERY relaxing and comfortable in there. I was very impressed. Way better than any other place I’ve been to. WILL be going back!

The last two times I have gone with friends their nail technician has been rude, interruptive, and negative. He shoots down anything anybody says around him and is constantly telling everyone they are wrong even in conversations that weren't directed at him. Today I called to make an appointment. The individual told me if I wanted to come in today I could just walk in at any time. I showed up within an hour and she told me they wouldn't be able to get me in until 6. I told her she told me to walk-in whenever today and she responds with that's not an appointment. Which, I am not arguing, but don't tell me to come in whenever and then when I walk in tell me I can't get in for 3 hours, let me know on the phone if you walk-in today it will likely be a wait unless you come in after 6. I am done experiencing the rudeness and general lack of care of their clients from this nail salon, I immediately called and booked an appointment at another salon in town. I won't be back. Thanks.

I had my nails done somewhere else and went to US Nails to have them fixed. They did an excellent job and made my nails look amazing. Even when I politely criticized the other place I had been to first, the nail tech tried to offer a reason for me instead of criticizing them or boasting themselves. Very classy.

I had a gel polish manicure and the guy who did it left a huge gap between my cuticle and the start of the polish. I didn't have time to get it fixed right then but the guy said he'd fix it the next day. I went in the next day and he pretended not to recognize me and said my nails looked like they were like 2 weeks grown out and that's just how they look after that much time. No matter what I said he insisted on charging me the price of a full gel manicure. So I left and haven't been back since.

By far the best place in town to get your nails done! They're a little pricer than other places on certain services but the attention to detail, relaxing atmosphere, awesome customer service and fantastic nails are worth every penny! If you love getting your nails done, try US NAILS! I promise you won't be sorry :)

In March 2016, I went in to US NAILS for the very first time. I asked for a brow wax. The employee asked if I wanted a tint also. I asked her what color she suggested for me, she suggested light brown. I was very happy with the results. Yesterday I went in again for another brow wax and tint. A different employee provided the service and asked me what color tint. I told her light brown. This morning I noticed that my brow tint wasn't very dark and I still had to color in my brows with make up. So today I called and asked for the manager, this is when I found out that it was the manager who had done my brows yesterday. I explained that my brow tint was too light. She said that I should have gotten a medium brown tint. I told her that I had gotten a light brown tint in March, and it was dark enough for me, so that's why I asked for it again. She said that the employee who did my wax/tint in March is no longer working there, and she doesn't know what she really put on my brows. The manager said that if I would come back in the next couple of days, she would do a darker tint on them. I explained that I live 100 miles away, and that I work and can't make a 200 mile round trip to redo my brows. I explained to her that I am about to go on vacation, and will be gone for a month. She said that she can't wait that long to redo them, that I had to come in, in the next couple of days, which is impossible for me to do. I asked her if she would just refund the tint part of my bill. She said no, that it's not her fault that I asked for light brown and that she did what I asked her to do. And I explained that I asked for light brown because that is what the last employee used, and it was the right color for me. So, it's not really my fault either. I felt that she was being very unfair by not letting me come in for a redo when I get back from my vacation. I would have came right back for her to redo it, if I didn't live 100 miles away. She also told me it was only $25, as if that makes it ok that I'm not happy with the results of my service. I worked hard for that money!. Maybe the owners should have a better manager running their salon. She felt like her decision was worth losing my future business and the negative reviews that the salon will get. I will never go back!!

I went in for a new set and a simple design (because the design I wanted would've put me at a $70 total) and she told me no she couldn't do it, and instead of asking someone else if they could do it, she kept insisting on doing the expensive one. When she was removing my old set, she put a bowl of hot water under the nail removing liquid and it was scorching hot within the minute. and she left dried acrylic all over my hands. To top it all off. My nails are all different lengths and all but two nails are crooked, one of which being almost 30 degrees off. I paid more there to get horrible quality. I do NOT recommend this place

Tiffany is the ABSOLUTE BEST!! She did wonders on my color and style & I love the way she perfected my lashes! The environment is very welcoming & the staff is great! I go there for all my beauty needs! Update 9/19: I've been going here for about a year now & I refuse to go anywhere else! The professionalism stands out & it is very apparent that the owners work hard to make each experience pleasant & high quality. I really appreciate that when I make my appointments, I am never kept waiting. I am the kind of person that enjoys coming in & being able to be serviced in a timely manner. I've been to so many places all over the world (being military) & it makes a huge difference when you can come into an nail establishment & do not have to sit around soaking in a pedicure chair with cold water or be stuck at a table watching everyone else get their services completed even though you made an appointment. If you prefer a walk in environment, this is also an option but the good thing is that the staff will be honest with you about the wait time & suggest coming back or making an appointment if they don't have an available tech, which I would truly appreciate. There is nothing worse than being told it will be 15 minutes & a half an hour later you have to go ask about an update & you keep being told it will just be a few more minutes..... when it would be better to simply be honest. You can also book online now when you have a preference for a specific tech. Be aware that booking online ensures you have that specific tech available for your services so if you have to cancel it must be done 24 hours before your appointment. You cannot just no show, you will be charged because you have taken up time that could be dedicated to another client. If you make a general appointment & do not request a specific tech the policy is different & I think you may cancel the same day... but everything is on their website so I would check to be sure as things change. I am guilty of having my favorites so I prefer to book with specific techs, lol (Tiffany, Jessica, & Peter). Another thing I really like is that they have a kid policy that states children (under 13, I think) not receiving services are not allowed. I come to relax & enjoy myself & it is great not to have children running amuck! I have a toddler and I couldn't imagine trying to wrangle her while getting anything done, lol! I come here for my nails (I fell in love with dip nails), pedicures, lashes, and even for my hair care needs. Tiffany did an amazing job coloring my hair etc & teaching me about the products that work well on my hair specifically. I am forever hooked on Moroccan oil products!!

I am only giving 3 stars because I have been in there several times for pedicures and always had a good experience. I am 6 months pregnant and decided to treat myself to a manicure. The guy clipped my cuticle too far back and I bled a little. I was very unhappy with this and I asked about the cleaning procedures, which of course I was told that they clean their tools between clients. I did not watch him open the autoclave bag, but I was complacent because I'd been there before and they always do a good job. He went ahead with my gel manicure and did a good job, but they charged double what other salons charge for a gel manicure. NO solar, no set, no acrylic, just plain old manicure and gel polish. $50. The massage was non existent and he was in way too much of a hurry, even though I scheduled an appointment. I will be watching closely to make sure I do not get an infection and I will never go back there again. After I complained they charged me full price and seemed very nonchalant about the fact that I had been made to bleed. It makes me feel like this might happen more often than I'd like to think. I am very disappointed.

First attempt to use usnails was over christmas break while my daughters were visiting. We stopped while we were christmas shopping and they said they could not get us in, which i understand on a holiday saturday afternoon. So i really wanted to try them because the atmosphere just seemed so much nicer and relaxing than the other places ive been to in fairbanks. Stopped at 2pm on a thursday afternoon in march to get a pedicure. The shop had 5 people getting manicures and no one that i could see back in the pedicure chairs. The receptionist said it would be a 45 minute wait. So i made an appt for 45 minutes from then and said i would be back. Went and killed time in town. Came back in 40 minutes and the receptionist said to have a seat. I waited for 30 more minutes and then went and told them it wasnt worth it to wait any longer and left. Not worth the wait!

Describing my experience in one word: rough. Literally. Today was my first time at US Nails, and I won't be going back. I got a manicure, which consisted of soaking my hands in a bowl of plain, warm water, and then having someone take my cuticles off. $30 for something I could do at home? Jesus. Okay. Included in that price was a chunk of skin ripped from my cuticle, making me BLEED EVERYWHERE. The person doing my nails touched my bleeding finger with his bare hand to stop the cut, then with blood ON HIS HANDS, grabs the bottle of "antiseptic", which looked like it also had dried blood on it. This person was also not wearing a face mask and kept COUGHING ON MY HANDS. I don't have HIV or AIDS. Hopefully the other people who's blood is on the bottle of "antiseptic" don't, either. To continue, he was not gentle with me at all during the application of my gel polish, and kept hurting me every time he scraped excess polish from the skin around my nails, to the point where I was literally saying "ouch" out loud. The gel polish I asked for looks like I did it myself- uneven, messy, and just overall terrible. The whole point of coming to the nail salon was to have my nails done by someone else who would supposably do a better job than I could, and to relax. Neither of these things happened. I will never go to this salon again.
