This store is far better at making its customers happy than is the online customer service. If you have any issues, ask for Mary. She runs the store and can get things done that others may not feel they have the juice to handle. She will even repair the damage the corporate customer service has caused and make things right. It's a fun place to shop and a decent place to get a hair appointment if your regular stylist can't fit you in or you don't yet have one.

Location is far from the city and prices are in the sky ( for same brand you have to pay double of the fred meyer). I do not recommend it except, you are searchinf for some fancy brands that you can find them in supermarkets and you want to pay twice for them

Salon service is not good. Scheduled a hair appointment a month in advance and day of get a call (which I didn’t answer) so I called back and got told the call was a confirmation of appointment and if there was any problems someone would call back. Since no one called I left my house in North Pole and as soon as I get there I’m informed the person who was doing my hair didn’t show up and I’d have to reschedule... I scheduled this appointment due to going on vacation and don’t have time to reschedule for next week. Also my facial appointment I told would still be good for 6pm which was more then 4 hours away... with the manager standing right there this is beyond unacceptable as a business. I, personally love Ulta. Love buying my makeup and shopping around but for salon services I will not be back and I advise others who have plans like going on vacation or etc book at a regular salon like Elements or J&M Hair studio. Beyond unacceptable experience.

The gals were extremely friendly and helpful to myself, my mom, and my sister who all individually needed help with different things. They were outspoken and were glad to hood a conversation and helped us find the exact products that would work best for us. Price on alot of items aren't bad but we careful cause it adds up fast.

I am a very frequent shopper of this specific Ulta. The women in here and the Stephen are all amazing. I have been going to Mia to do my eyebrows for over a year and she is amazing. I recently started getting facials in the dermalogica bar as well and I have to say that Katie is amazing. I felt so relaxed the whole time during my appointment and she did some major work on my face. I would reccommend her and Mia to anyone who is needing any kind of beauty services!!

Called in advance to make an appt for a trim and a brow wax. I live 3 1/2 hours away. After waxing my brows they told me there wasn’t anyone available to do my trim, even though there was at least 3 hair dressers not doing anything but walking around the store. Lazy employees and awful costumer service.

My main complaint about this Ulta is that they never restock the sample sponges and brushes so it’s hard to try new products. So I end up buying things that aren’t my color. I know they have a generous return policy but I don’t always have the time to return things within 30 days or I just forget about it and waste my money. But the selection is very good and they have a lot of packages where you get a free gift if you spend a certain amount. The employees are nice. I just wish they restocked the sponges, qtips and wands for the testers

Amazing experience for my family. My girls are my life and they had the best time with my wife all of them getting haircuts. The girls in the salon are fantastic and bend over backwards for the customers they are serving. Amber is my wife’s stylist and just took great care of us.

Would be 5 stars if check out times weren't so crazy long so often! Other than that, this is a great place to shop for any kind of beauty supplies. I don't wear makeup, but love going here to look at all the pretty new makeup stuff when I buy my face wash and moisturizer. The staff is always helpful and ready to help, but if you are just looking around and say so they don't follow or badger you which is a great change from other places in town! Tons of makeup from top end to drug store, lots of hair products and tools, bath goodies, lotions, hair dye, a salon, perfume, and specialty skin care stuff.

I was absolutley amazed. I went in just to look and ended up spending over my budget. Even without an appointment I was able to get my eyebrows waxed, they looked amazing. This location had good sales and prices I bought presents, makeup, and booked another visit. My mau was so nice and welcoming I felt right at home even though I was just a visitor. This is an amazing location.

The store has many wonderful products and brands. I was very disappointed with the sales service due to their lack of knowledge and lack of willingness to assist. This happens every time I go into the store. I ask a question about a product and they don’t know the answer. When I go there I expect that they should know what they are selling as they are the professionals in this area and I am not. I am 52 and need assistance determining the correct makeup or hair product, etc. I also have bought several Stilla eyeliners and after I use them once or twice at home the eyeliner malfunctions and doesn’t roll (twist) up or I’ve wven gotten them where they appear used up. Since I pay good money I expect good product. I complained today to the lady dusting the area and she said she has no clue. We even stood there together and opened several Stilla eyeliners and they would not twist up. Then I asked the girl at check out because I really love the product but I’m not wasting money on a product that is malfunctioning or used up. I really think I made a mistake by throwing the previous Stilla eyeliners away. I will take back in the store the next time and request a refund and I did not get my eyeliner today because the girl that was helping me couldn’t find one that would roll up. The women are nice and polite but need for education on the products they are selling if they are going to work for Ulta. Thanks, Shar Sanders

If you work with hair and makeup. This is the equivalent of home depot for cosmetics supplies. They have just about everything including a full service salon to just get you hair done and feel beautiful. They also have tons of sales and a lot of stuff you can get at walmart. I would recommend it for sure. Make sure you get one of the cards too it's free and gives you sweet discounts.

Just like any other Ulta in terms of selection / prices. (Never used beauty / salon services offered here) Staff overall isn’t always as friendly or helpful as you’d wish for when you’re spending a lot of money on beauty supplies. 50/50 on customer service skills. There are many times the main item I go in for is not in stock and I end up buying online.

It's always clean, well lit and has lots of product. But the last three times I have gone, whether it's busy or not I have not gotten any help. No one greeted me, and after spending a half hour opening stuff trying stuff out, I still was not approached by an employee. I would really appreciate getting helped next time or even just greeted.
