I called and set up an appointment the same day. They offered me a beverage after I arrived so I was able to wait for my haircut with a cold beer; they're not print craft beers, but having a beer was better than none at all. My stylist was friendly, made sure she knew what I wanted, and did an excellent job.

I moved to Orange Beach six months ago and the Men's Den was recommended by everyone I talked to. I am very glad that I listened because it is an excellent Barber shop for men. There is an upbeat air about the place - all seem to have a great sense of humor, and the haircuts are excellent - tailored to your preference and professionally done. It is fun to go there.

An absolutely wonderful experience. Very very friendly outgoing and personable, they make sure to make it feel like you're at home and part of the family. The owner Mary took care cutting my hair and she really impressed me with the time and care she took. She made sure everything was perfect and corrected me on my mistake just to be sure I got what I really wanted. They're quick offer a refreashing drink to make you feel good. Mary finished up the haircut with a nice clean new razor for the neckline, which is a rarity these days. After all that she finished up with a hot towel with a wonderful head neck and shoulder massage. I may not need a haircut soon but I may go back just for the massage. LOL. I couldn't say one bad thing about the place everything was exceptional!!! I don't think you find a better value anywhere!! If you're a man need a haircut this is a place hands down!!! I doubt you could find anything better.

Wow, what a great place. Went here on the recommendation of a friend and now I wish I had gone two weeks earlier so I could go again before I leave town. Great haircut and shave, nice people and great prices for the level of service they provide. If you need a haircut, do yourself a favor and make an appointment. It's worth the drive if you are even remotely close to this place.

The lady was very nice, but the haircut my son received was probably the worst he has ever had. She was very skeptical about giving him a high fade..and he definitely didn’t get it. We are from out of town so of course we picked a place that specializes in men’s haircuts. We ended up going to a place down the street to get it fixed and they were able to give us exactly what we asked for.

I’ve been coming to Orange Beach for years on vacation and for the first time I didn’t get a fresh fade before leaving my hometown of Gulfport, MS. Looked up a couple of barbershops around the area where I’m staying, and decided to give this place a shot. I’m glad I did. One of the best cuts I’ve had in my life. It’s hard to find places that can do great skin fades. My barber lined everything up with a straight razor and took his time to make sure that every cut was precise. I will most definitely use this shop in the future.

Went for a haircut and beard trim, not impressed! Hair was cut to short, not blended on the sides (very choppy), and hair was trimmed up so high on back of neck that there was a tan line. I asked for a 2 shaver guard length, but was left with an almost stubble length for my beard. I don't know how all the barbers are, but Mary is horrible.

I just moved in from out of state and I think I have found the place. I had gone to a barber before down here and was very disappointed, I found The Men's Den and figured I would give it a shot. Liz was personable and professional and gave my a great haircut. My fiancee loves it (and she's pretty picky about my haircuts). I sipped on some complementary Crown Royal between scissor cuts, and the service was finished off with a neck shave and shoulder massage. And this was just the basic haircut! A real treat.

Go see Tony! I was skeptical about getting my haircut from anyone but my original barber in ATL. I went in there and chose Tony. Brutal honest guy from NY. After doing an awesome job on my hair he asked if I wanted my beard trimmed. I told him I’m good on that and I usually shape it myself. He told me it looked like sh**. So I let him trim it up. Well I doubt I’ll ever try and do it myself again.

I arrived to Orange Beach late on Saturday and failed to get a beard trim/haircut before I left Nashville. Sunday, everything was closed and I wasn't going to settle for nationwide chain chop job. I found The Men Den Monday morning with a quick search and off I went. I was offered a beer and in a chair within minutes. Adria was very attentive to my needs while providing great service and conversation. I highly recommend this place. Oh, and one more thing. If beer, deer heads, and what happens in the man cave doesn't leave the man cave doesnt suit your fancies, I recommend you go to a salon and have your tips frosted.

These ladies look like they probably give a great haircut but their customer service leaves much to be desired. I called before 10. I was told that they had an appointment for 11. My name and number were taken. We arrived 5 minutes early and were told they were running “a little behind”. She finished one guy and took another before us. At 11:30 I asked how much longer. She said another 30 minutes! They were going to let us sit there for an hour after our appointment time.

Show up at 8 for a haircut with no appointment. According to their hours they open at 8. No one is there. Guy with face tattoos shows up around 8:20 opens the front door. I ask him if I can get a haircut and he rudely says it will be another ten minutes. Last time I made an appointment and they put it down for the wrong day so I showed up for my cut and had to wait an hour. Lost a customer.

I have gone here countless times, and it is always a great experience. They give great cuts and shaves, and they are also real friendly and fun to talk to while you are there. They even have complimentary drinks while you are waiting. I seriously haven't been to a better place, and on top of it all they have ridiculously low prices. I drive 45 minutes out of my way from Florida to get here. This place is absolutely awesome, and you'll be missing out if you don't check it out!

I recently moved to Gulf Shores and WAS needing a new stylist. You wont catch me in a Salon again. The Men's Den Barber Shop is the way to go. Hands down the best haircut and haircut experience I have ever had! Jordan took her time and made sure the cut and shave were both perfect. Guys if you are ever in the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores area don't go anywhere else. The Men's Den will give you the cleanest cut and the closest shave around and complimentary adult beverages while you wait. It was absolute perfection.

UPDATE: Tracy has left this business. My review was for her. She is now at another location down the street. I'm leaving 3 stars for the concept of the Men's Den but I can longer speak to the quality of the staff. OLD Review: A great haircut is one thing but the shave is out of this world. Head, face and shoulder massage comes with it plus 4-5 hot towels and a straight razor for the kind of shave you can't get anywhere else. Highly recommend Tracy and be sure to book in advance as they can get busy on Saturday's.

First of all I would like to call out the gentleman who gave a one star review about the beer, it's like a man cave barbershop! Most men LOVE beer. Second, my husband got a haircut from here and it turned out AMAZING. The fade was hands down the best. We are from out of town and I have yet to find someone who has given my husband the same cut. I'm contemplating just driving to Alabama every two months to have Sarai cut his hair. I would love to rate this shop 10 stars but Google only allows 5. You must try this place before you go elsewhere. You will not regret it.
