Large gym with a broad range of equipment and area specific rooms. Rush hour doesn't even seem to be packed enough to slow you down from getting your workout in.

By far the best quality in the area equipment gets repaired in a timely manner only complaint is sometimes you can't "go extreme" the staff will frawn upon you allowing weight to land on safety hooks too loudly as if it's "planet fitness LUNK alarm"

Great gym, best in area. Inexpensive. Large selection of equipment and we'll maintained. Very clean and staff is nice. Peak times between 5-7pm, lots of tvs for cardo area. Parking is good.

Absolutely awful service. Been trying to close my account for a month now since I’ve been out of contract for a while and don’t live in the area anymore, and they basically made me pay 15$ to finalize the account closing even though I’m out of contract??? And even after talking to a manager to get it taken care of, they ended up charging me over $34 and when I called to speak to a manager to resolve this, they gave me the run around and said they couldn’t fix their mistake and I’d need to hash it out with their financing company, who refused to pick up the phone no matter how many times I’ve called. Absolutely awful mess and customer service for something that could’ve been so simple. Never associating with the gym or it’s company again. I’d advise you to not waste your time, especially with the incompetent management.

I personally love this gym. Friendly, u get two free personal trainings when u join. There's an octagon for MMA and boxing. Spin class, Zumba, Bodypump, CXWorkz, dance classes, tanning, ext... also, even child care if needed. The classes i take here change up my routine and take my workout to the next level. Clean n safe environment n equipped with a supplement shop. Sauna in the locker rooms, showers, n clean brs. I would highly recommend this gym to you. I pay 31.50$ a month for everything but crossfit.

Started coming here last November and my spouse and I really like it, as much as you can like a gym. Haha. But, honestly, its clean and the locker rooms are nice. We pay 15 each a month and that includes any classes we want to take. We also have a great personal trainer at a very reasonable rate. His name is Brian and he is wonderful and encouraging. He is extremely (pun intended) knowledgeable in his field and professional. I am usually intimidated by gyms, but I feel very comfortable at this one. Most of the staff is very nice. Highly recommend.

By far the best facility I have ever been to with exceptional staff and coaches! I've been going to this gym for a year now 5-6 days a weeks and that is the longest I have ever faithfully attended a gym! It has almost become a second home for me and I can't get enough! The crossfit box offered at Extreme Family Fitness changed my life and I have become so much stronger and now have so much more endurance in the time I have been going. I would highly recommend this gym and I love that it is open 24/7 and always staffed! It makes me feel safe going there!

Lots of variety for memberships, friendly employees that are extremely helpful, clean locker rooms that include saunas and showers, tons and tons of great equipment for cardio, free weights, and weight machines, has a great store inside also where you can buy supplements, protein, pre workout, clothes, and tanning lotions, offer many different classes and the swimming pool that coming soon sounds awesome!

I thought this gym was okay when I joined it, but when I needed to cancel my membership, the men at the counter harassed me. Seven months later, I look at my bank statements, and they started charging me four months ago. The gym itself would have gotten a three or four star rating, but The staff has brought this number down.

I love my gym. The staff are ways welcoming and willing to help in any way. I've been a member for 4 years and my favorite class is danceology. It's like going to the club with the girls but no alcohol, besides I'm too old for the club. Elmer is always doing new routines which keeps it fresh just like the music...fresh. Another favorite class is Body Pump with Cindy. Her class is amazing! My son also does karate and my other children love the kids club. It truly is family friendly ❤

I just joined this gym and already want to cancel my membership, the staff is not the friendliest people. I’m spending my money here, if I tell you that something isn’t working as it should like and ankle strap, I don’t want you to shrug your shoulders and tell me “that’s all that we got.” I want reassurance that you will inform someone that the equipment I’m paying to use doesn’t work and could’ve hurt me.

This place is AWESOME! I hired Brian Walker to be my trainer and I can’t thank him enough! I signed up for the 3 times a week for an hour for 3 months. He made an impact on my health and knowledge on fitness that will last a lifetime. This will probably be the best investment in my health that I will ever make. Thank you so much Brian! You made working with my schedule a breeze and care so much. I got much more than I expected and I’ll never forget that.

Lied about canceling my membership and over charged me. Refused to give me a refund when we made clear we were moving and unable to cancel in person. worse customer service ever! Charged us when we never attended the gym because of move and locked us in a contract with no mercy.

The gym itself was pretty good but the poor customer service coupled with their pricing/membership policies makes this a place you want to pass on. Once you finish your membership contract expect to pay at least 2 months more. It's classic bad business nickel and diming.

Been a member for 2 years now and the staff is always wonderful and helpful. The place always needs cleaned though. Equipment like the treadmills and elliptical machines are dirty all the time.

I recently started going to Extreme Family Fitness after having bariatric (weight loss) surgery. Before this, I had never been to a gym before. I was so nervous and self conscience, but the staff made me feel comfortable right away. I love all the classes they have to offer and their affordable monthly fee. I actually look forward to going to the gym. The building is clean and their machines are amazing. I also love that they offer a daycare and tanning beds. It's the perfect gym.

I've been going to Extreme for a little over 2 years now. I love it. It's always clean and all the equipment is in working order. When you go it actually feels like a gym, you can be loud, the music playing is workout music. You don't have to be afraid to offend someone because everyone is so friendly. Plenty of equipment and they always seem to get more. They offer a wide variety of classes of everyone. I always notice that they are always adding new classes. Wednesday night and Saturday morning Zumba is fun. I've done the spin class a few times. You get the most for you money with your membership at Extreme. If you are like me you are very picky about using a public restroom. I don't mind at Extreme, I hated going into the restroom at my old gym.

Do not give them your credit card or credit card info. They will charge without your permission. And always get a receipt. You'll need it when they double bill you.

First you all promised a pool that never happened (false advertisement). In fact, that pool billboard is still up! I went in to ask if I moved out of state, could the membership be canceled? I was told I would have to be in the military for that to happen. That flat out sounds like greed. You are so concerned about money that you don’t even care if the customer moves to another state, you still want them to pay? BEWARE!!! Any business that has principles like these only care about their pockets! Glad I ask that before I decided to just hand over my money.

Moved several months ago and have repeatedly tried to cancel my membership and am still being charged monthly and even got hit with the annual fee again. I'm trying again, but expect no satisfaction. Next step is to report the charges as fraud. I think the only way to successfully cancel my membership might be to close my bank account and reopen with a new account number. Obviously that's a huge hassle, but I'm not going to be held hostage by this place any longer.

Not a bad place to drop in for powerlifters. The day pass is only $10 and there is a room in the back with four power racks on platforms, as well as some standard squat racks in another room. Trap deadlift bar available too. The best part is that it is staffed 24.7 so I could arrive before 5am and get my workout in during my business trip. I would definitely come back to train if I am ever in the Martinsburg area.

New equipment just keeps coming in, The Owner, Manager and whole staff are pleasant, knowledgable and very caring. They are really interested in your progress. Totally the place to be if you honestly wish to become fit

The gym alone is great. There are numerous machines to choose from and it's very spacious, there are even classes throughout the week that come along with the subscription. The only downfall is the staff. The lady at the front that is miserable, I have come to this gym for months now and I always say hello to her and she always is rude, she doesn't say hi back or just stares at me, but I always hear her shouting a greeting when a guy walks in. It's absolutely ridiculous. She's not the only one either, the whole staff is rude and miserable, I say hello the everyone and only one guy who works the front desk as said hi back once. It's a huge downfall for this gym because of course when working out, every one wants a comfortable welcoming atmosphere. Oh well.

I love the place, I have gone to this gym for nearly 3 years now. If you don't like crowds, don't go from like 5-7pm on weekdays. Its conveniently located and has a large selection of equipment to work with. Largest downside, is that the whole Berkeley plaza is old and run down, but its works grate as the venue for a gym.

Extreme Family Fitness has literally been a thorn in my side since January of 2017. They started a "pre-sale" of the pool that they were supposed to have completed sometime in 2017 and I got suckered into it by getting a membership there for me and my wife for 30$ each every month. The reason for the pre-sale was to lock in a price of 30$ a month because shortly after the sale it would go up to at least 50$. Sure that includes an all inclusive membership for the gym but I did NOT get a membership there for that reason. I got it for the pool. If I wanted just a gym I'd go somewhere else cheaper for 10$ a month. But here it is almost OCTOBER of 2018 and there STILL isn't a pool! I tried to get some of my money back from them talking even to the owner and they said there was NOTHING that they could do. They just kept trying to say how good of a deal I had. A good deal??? Yeah I've paid you a total of 1320$ so far for that pool membership and STILL no pool so who is it a good deal for??? Stay away! Very decietfull company and will rob you for an expensive membership that isn't worth it making empty promises if they can!
