I wish i had a chance to give them below zero. I got a medical condition during exercise and dislocated my shoulder badly. The doctors didn't allow me to exercise for several months. I went in person and met General Manager Terrie Lambert, emailed her 3 times, talked with her over the phone 3 times and requested to suspend my membership, but they didn't take any actions and it's 2 months deducting fee, I haven't been reimbursed nor suspended membership. They just want to hunt you to join, as soon as you joined they don't know you and won't hear or take action for legitimate issues. Please, please don't let them to hunt you by getting a membership, find somewhere else.

This club is special in every aspect! Jackie in the front desk always welcomes you with a big smile, the facility is clean and well maintained. Group Classes are a huge asset of Skyline, professional and enthusiastic instructors make the experience unforgettable and you can feel that they love working in there! the studios and the equipment (they have everything you could think of!) are always clean and waiting for us! highly recommended!

I just moved to the area and had to transfer my membership. Went to the skyline location, the building is old in need of major repairs. Great classes. The gym has a lot to offer it really just needs an upgrade, since it is not cheap. The other major issue i had was the kidzklub, in order for your kids to be allowed in a reservation has to be made 24 hours in advance with the time you plan on coming or that same morning but you can not be certain there will be space. As a mother I never really know what time i will be able to go to the gym and now if i forget to call or can;t go at the time i said i could i lose my reservation, keep in mind I am paying for a family plan, i feel like i should be able to drop of my kids without making a reservation. other wise kids should be free since you never know if you can bring them in or not. I have been with sports and health for years and at none of the other gyms is this child care reservation a policy.

This is by far my favorite gym! I have been a member for almost two years now. The staff amazing always very welcoming and helpful (Jackie and Moses are my favorites). The gym has plenty of room, good equipment and classes with very good and knowledgeable instructors. I have tried other Onelife locations, and I ended up always coming back to skyline.

Mirian Cabrera

Not a family friendly place. They do not offer family changing area. Customer service from most representative is poor. Over heard associates speaking about club members.

This club is really memorable. Great track, very clean, as in smells like perfume in the women's locker room. Professional nutritionists, etc, etc. Not to mention the consultant that signed me up, Shane, is a great guy (very professional and knowledgeable.) When I came in for my visit I was still shopping around for a gym, but instantly decided to sign up after viewing the property and discussing it with Shane. Really nice and spacious. Great and courteous staff!

Kevin King

Friendly staff, the free-weight area is well organized and large and there are plenty of machines to choose from. No complaints. Been coming here for about 7 months.

When I signed up they also signed me up for the personal trainer which I was not sure about the expiration date. When I was ready to start they said your promotional period has expired. I also checked all the materials which they provided when I signed up and I don't have any reference of time period to use personal trainer program. When I checked with management their response was very cold and unprofessional.

We joined Onelife in January and we are big fans! It's perfect for our family. We love the ability to work out in the gym, go for a swim or take a class - they have so much to offer! It's also a huge plus for our family that childcare is included in the membership. We can drop our 11 month old off at the Kids Club and know that she's with a responsible team member, having peace of mind while we work out. The facilities are nice and clean, but most of all, the staff is so friendly and welcoming. We're greeted everytime we walk in and they know you by name. This club is convenient and we are so glad we joined!

The gym is great and has many useful facilities. The locker rooms are in good condition. The showers, steam bath, and sauna work very well. The weight room is well equipped and maintained. I usually don't have trouble getting on a machine. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Overall, this is a very nice gym and I recommend to come here. It also helps that parking is not an issue.

This place suck in terms of Tennis courts!!! If you want to play tennis during winter time you actually have to pay the whole year membership and on top of that one it’s not guaranteed that you will play in desired time because you need to reserve probably week in front and plus you still have to pay to rent a tennis court!!! So I’m not cheap person but this is ridiculous it’s way to pricey and they use it because they know there is not much indoor tennis. FYI there is courts in MD who allows to pay per hour and you don’t have to be member, think about it

Alan Eisenman

Convenient location. Never overcrowded. Good equipment.

Last time I had a bad experience with pool service and left a bad review.. But my recent visit left me impressed.. the pool went real clean and the staff turned out to be very friendly.. this is very nice of one life coz I don't think other gyms do listen to consumers feedback,, whereas one life does.. thank u one life

I cannot say enough good things about this place! My husband and I started going 6 days a week at the end of October because we had a silent auction certificate to try it out free. We love it so much that we joined for our whole family--2 teenage boys, and now one of their friends has joined, too. The staff are so welcoming and remember your name, find Moses--he's so positive and always in a good mood. There is so much equipment to choose from--I never have to wait for cardio or weights and the Classes--WOW--spin, body pump, yoga--every single one is a kick butt workout and i've never been disappointed by a teacher. In fact, I've actually canceled weekend plans because I didn't want to miss the weekend classes. It's just a great vibe in general, people from all walks of life, ages, body shapes...I always leave in a better mood. PLUS a pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna!! You won't be disappointed!

Enxhi Xheka

Perfect team and trainers , very nice and comfortable place. Thanks to my trainer Koko , for the best job she's doing and her motivation . I have some other favourites but lets keep her names personal. Best gym ever

Marty Sullivan

We joined this gym a few months ago and we're really glad that we did. The facilities are large and don't feel claustrophobic like some gyms. They have machines, a pool, lockers, sauna, tennis courts, and even a running track--and everything seem to be well kept up. And they have all the classes you'd want from Zumba to yoga. But what sets this place apart from others we've belonged to is the staff. Everyone is super-friendly and helpful. Michael, one of their trainers, is awesome. The front desk staff always greet members with a smile and a kind word, especially Jackie. And Moses or Shane can help with any membership questions.

Ekram Elja

Great gym but the water fountain or water filling station always have problem from almost 1 and half year and they should have discounts for students !

Amazing facilty, sauna steam room pool tennis and even a day care. Jackie is my favorite person there! And i appreciate the towels being provided.

I love the trainers, staff, equipment, classes, and running track. I regularly see improvements being made to the gym, and I feel like there is a strong commitment being made to give gym members the best possible experience. And when I take group fitness classes such as yoga or Explosive Performance, the instructors always give me alternatives I can use to accommodate my arthritic joints, and oftentimes they give me great advice on new exercises to try or ways to improve my diet. These are people who feel passionate about health and exercise, and who are eager to help others become as healthy as possible. I feel really lucky to have this gym located so close to my home.

The crew here is awesome! Great staff and always willing to help others. If you haven't tried working out in Zone 4, I highly recommend it. Ramin is an awesome coach and very genuine in his approach. Keep up the great work over there guys!

Bruce Gregoire

Love the Tennis at Skyline Sport and Health Club. They also have BB courts and the usual gym equipment, but the tennis is my absolute favorite. 4 courts - court time usually available, a little on the pricey side depending on your budget. Also a Friday night social where players rotate as doubles partners.

Michelle Blake

I have been coming to Skyline since 2001. It is one of my favorite places to do yoga, as the mind/body studio has everything: mats, cork blocks, straps, blankets, bolsters. The staff is friendly and engaging. My favorites are Irma (housekeeping), Carol (tennis director), and Jackie (front desk)--all of whom who have worked there for over 20 years! My kids love attending the tennis camp every year at the club. The energy in the club is really good--welcoming, and people love the group fitness classes, are really attached to their instructors.

Gallo Pinto

Great staff! Old, yes but service and staff make up for it.

Curtis Morgan

It's across the street from my condo. And, a couple of the trainers, really know their stuff. That's the good news. The bad news is, there is a poisonous and strained relationship between management and employees. The "no cell phone" rule, posted widely here, is routinely flouted, even by staff. Trainer turnover is 100% annually. The gym abounds with dirty towels, trash, empty water bottles, the "cleaner" (I use the term loosely) walks right by them (I pick them up for them, well, someone has to). If you are working out on a mat, the cleaner runs her vacuum right up next to your head. What, this bothers you? Suck it up! Badly cracked leather on machines goes unfixed, for months, years, really (my multiple written complaints go ignored). If you are out of town and wish to suspend your membership, they only recognize "whole months", anything less, no credit, no sir. And, yeah, the tow truck comes and tows you away from the parking lot, member or not. Sure, tow this guy, we can't be bothered to check if he's a member, or not. Worst service ever, wherever.

Anita Turk

My daughter has been a member and exercise instructor for over 30 years. Ellen shares a passion for creating "community", good health and fun. I am proud, when members who know we're related, share her energy and enthusiasm. Ellen says that those principles plus safety have been the hallmark of Skyline from day one.

Roni Meyers

If I had to choose one word to describe this club it is friendly! This is definitely a welcoming environment -- from the team, to the members. Thank you for a great visit!

Daria Lytvynenko

I really love this gym! It has lots of amenities and a perfect location. I like the pool there and group classes. Also people who work there are very friendly and have positive attitude! But the thing that I didn’t like is that you have to let them know that you want to cancel membership two months ahead. Unfortunately in my situation I’ve found out that I need to cancel membership only one month before the date. But still it’s a great gym! Thank you :)

David Okun

Zone4 is a well-structured high-intensity interval training (HIIT) class. What I like most about it is the flexibility to show up for an hour-long workout whenever is convenient for you, during large chunks of time throughout the day. Meaning, there are no set start and end times for the workout cycle: as long as you show up between the three-hour window, you can get your workout in. The ability to have a trainer guide me during the strength training portions, and motivate me during the cardio portions, has been money well-spent. The Zone4 coaches and leadership are very responsive and are always checking in with you throughout the week, especially if you miss a workout. #Accountability.

Monica C

Ok. I discounted two stars for two reasons. One- the "fitness" classes taking the equipment and not returning it to its proper location. Really? Why is that ok? Two- the showers. I was taking a peaceful shower before this woman came in singing her heart out. now, i love music, but i have enough respect for others not to subject them to something they may not like. lets be honest, not eveybody would be fond of tupac being forced on their ears. That should not be okay. She shouldnt be able to come in to the shower as if shes going to her own personal one. The gym has enough eqip/machines, but the tracks have bumps all over them! it hurts to run on that. I gave it 3 because I always feel like ive gotten a great workout when i leave.

What a fabulous club! Such a great energy! I love the variety of workout options, including tennis! But the best feature is the amazing friendly and helpful staff!

I continue to plug away at Skyline, where I worked out in 1996. Now that I'm part of the older demographic that's still committed to getting fit, I appreciate having a home base that accommodates all skills levels. Changes over the years have kept up with the times: Hoist, functional training, many studios, HIIT programs, see ya racquet- and basketball courts. Not the friendliest place. I know these days everyone brings own music and zones out, but the staff is icy, as well, doing nothing to build rapport. The desk staff is very friendly and willing to try to help! Looking forward to renovations to keep up with times (pool upkeep?). [Updated] About two months ago I noticed a dramatic improvement in how customers put their weights back. Used to be that when I showed up at 5 am there were weights and place scattered around the workout area. I haven't spoken with any staff, but I think the change is a result of Skyline's practice of re-racking weights at the end of the previous day... people see a clean gym when they arrive, and they're more likely to leave it that way! Thanks for keeping Skyline a great part of my routine!

ted blair

Been a member and instructor for 17 years. Skyline is a small club, but has a great community of members. Both the members and instructors work really hard and they are super nice (not intimidating at all). Together I feel like we keep each other coming to classes. That consistency result in us all getting into better shape (safely).

This gym is top notch love the staff and the manager Terri is awesome and very personable.

This is a great gym. It is one of the best around, and great value for what you pay. The sales staff amazing, Reaford Crowe is top notch and a solid professional. He helped me get my daughters signed up on my plan, and was so easy to work with. Always friendly and making sure any member he sees is doing well and if needing anything, takes the initiative to take care of it immediately. James and Jackie at the front desk are nothing short of phenomenal and smiling/friendly team members. Ivette(Zumba), Mauricio(Strong by Zumba), Kim(Body Pump) and Lindsay(Body Combat) are so passionate and amazing instructors, I love their classes, great workouts and fun to be there. Now all we need is a roof top deck/lounge with a pool, and we'd be all set.

The gym and equipment are awesome. Their policies suck. I cancelled my membership on February 10th after I moved to Texas and had to pay the dues for the rest of February, which was fine. But then I was told I also had to pay dues for the entire month of March as well. For some reason they found it necessary to put in their contract that when you cancel between the 1st and 25th of a month the contract terminates after the next full calendar month. So make sure you cancel at least 2 months in advance before you have to donate money to the gym.

Taha Ferozpuri

better be aware of these thugs. These are bunch of thieves who are sitting in nice offices and rip people off. I cancelled the membership a month ago and still receiving the bill. First I got tricked into membership without even signing any document and then I kept getting these bills.

Cardio, weights and steam perfect workout!!, everything one place, the best

I have been here for about a month and I am so impressed by how friendly the staff is on a regular basis! They are also making several upgrades to the club to keep it updated and modern. I also appreciate the towel service which is something many gyms have done away with.

Karen Wilks

I have been a member for many years and have seen lots of changes take place during that time and they have all been for the better. The addition of Zone 4 is great as I like to try different exercise formats and Tom is great. There are tons of group exercise classes and my personal favorite is Zumba Strong. Daniela is a fantastic instructor, very high energy, always encouraging and smiling, it's no wonder her class is always packed!! Shannon who teaches Tae Bo is another great instructor too, in fact all of the group exercise instructors are pretty awesome. You can tell they all really love what they do. I can't write this post without giving a shoutout to the management team - Terri, Dakota, Mary, Moses & Shane, Carol and her staff in the tennis department, the personal trainers, Jackie and the front desk crew and last but not least, the housekeepers that keep the place spic and span. All in all, I have to say Onelife Skyline has got it going on!! #MyClubIsBetterThanYours :-)

Sindy Sima nchama

Onelife fitness is awesome for those who would like to work on their body goals, the trainers are very helpful and I encourage those who can’t go on their own to come with a friend.

Emery Bishop

This is a great club! The tennis, fitness, front desk and management team are top notch! I would recommend to all my friends and family!

Overall great space and the equipment upgrades are continuing which is nice. Front desk staff are friendly and greet you by name. Sauna and steam room are good and usually not too crowded and while I don't use it, having a pool is a nice bonus too. Biggest issue, which I have been told they are addressing is etiquette by members and some staff in not cleaning up after their classes or being generally oblivious that it's not a private facility just for their group. That and the god awful dodecahedron iron plates that make deadlifting or any floor lift god awful is why they don't get a five but for the price, general space (abundant) and mostly available always parking (at least in the garage) you can do much worse in NoVa and hopefully the upgrades keep rolling in. Pros: good space for weightlifting (Olympic style), decent levels of equipment in recent upgrades to quality Rogue bars (still need a good deadlift bar and a few more power bars), 4 platforms and 4 squat racks means usually you can get a lower body day in. Dumbbells only up to 100# though but for most that's enough. They have good specialty bars too such as a safety squat bar, football bar and training and women's bars as well (need to tell some members not to misuse bars that aren't meant for heavy loading like the training bars however). There are plenty of bumper plates for olympic style lifting and dropping weight is allowed. There is a small but decent community of serious lifters (those competing in weightlifting or powerlifting as opposed to casually going through lifting motions) too so that small community is a nice bonus. The indoor track and 4 Concept 2 rowers is also a plus for indoor cardio especially in the winter as well as a large turf area with multiple push/drag sleds. As long as there aren't oblivious people stretching or doing who knows what in the direct path of the sled pushing, that is. Cons: Gym etiquette is a challenge (like most facilities these days) but some gym floor staff are oblivious and members are even more. Misuse of equipment is never addressed. Wiping things down, de-loading bars and equipment and being unaware of people lifting are my biggest gripes. I've had members try to take plates, bars and clips off a rack I was using mid set (while squatting!) which is a safety issue and trainers and staff walk on my platform mid set. For having good hard-core equipment, new or standard commercial gym members need to understand some basics as part of their on-boarding and staff could model better behavior. Real issue is group class lack of cleanup and trainers as well as members constantly leaving loaded bars on the ground and platforms or plates strewn about resulting in hunter-gatherer phases when looking for anything less than a 45# plate.

Awesome equipment and an awesome staff!

Lonja Calhoun

Just visited this club & it was very nice. Very clean, the staff is absolutely wonderful.

Cindy

I've been a part of this gym for 6 years. Miss Jackie at the front desk is a slice of heaven and a pure class act. Eliana in the kids club is GREAT with my children. Terrie, the manager is beyond positive and accommodating. Above all this though...are the fellow members who have formed a beautiful, supportive , lively and positive community in this gym. When I walk through the door...there is NO place I'd rather be!

David Robinson

I've been a member at Skyline sport&health (Onelife fitness now) for some time now, And they have been the friendliest most accommodating people I have ever been around. The management has addressed every problem (both small and big) with the most timely and effective solutions. Dakota the person that signed me up was very helpful and even Shane while I could tell he was new, was very honest and genuine. Terrie the GM there always greets me by name with a smile and it makes me feel at home. The equipment is great and its a well rounded facility. Better than all the others I have been to in the area. I LOVE THIS GYM!!!!

Rebecca Rose

The classes and instructors here are great! I also recommend the TNT group training.

The location isn’t great and the price is really expensive for what it is.

My husbands car was towed from the front of the Skyline club. It had a valid sticker which the tow truck driver claims he could not see. The sticker was there just where the club instructed it to be placed. The car was returned attached to the tow truck, the manager checked for the sticker, it was there. The manager apologized and said that it was their error. He said that a credit of 88.00 would be given for the trouble caused by this action. Instead of a Credit, a Charge of 300.00 was placed on my account and the quarterly full fee was added as well. No credit and a 300.00 fee.Several other club members have had this same towing. They need better management at that club.

This place is filled with dishonest sales persons I would definitely stay away from them

Such a great experience!! I was in the area on vacation and needed to train and I'm so glad I chose to go here. The staff is super friendly, approachable and the gym is HUGE. All you equipment you would possibly need; sleds, squat racks, machines, kettle bells, medicine balls, a track, etc.

joselyn Mejia

Signed up yesterday, Shane Hill was great. He went over the gym with us before we signed up even taught us some cool tricks on the machines. This place is great so far!!!!!

This location recently transitioned management and things have been on the up and up ever since. They've re-designed the kids club to provide more space for the kids and the staff seems to be more knowledgeable in pointing people to the right resources. There is cardio galore and an open floor plan for the weight section. Even when you go during prime hours (4pm-7pm), you still feel like there is enough space to do what you need to do. Overall a great place to get your workout in.

Stephanie Levine

Wonderful clean health club with a very friendly staff!

Justin Hinh

You know it's a good place when people walk in and the front staff greets them by name. The Facilities: Gym It's in a huge area divided into four sections. One for free weights, one that's a general open area, another for treadmills, and one for mostly stationary machines. There's also a track that runs around. Free weights have a full range of weights and there are plenty of benches. I usually came in around 4 or 5pm and there was never an issue with too many people. Multiple squat racks. Grunt at loud as you need to, the noise will dissipate. There's just that much space. The general open area is where most one on one coaching seems to take place. Plenty of equipment here. There's also a boxing bag. It's great that there's boxing gloves there for you to use. Lots of gyms I try out either don't have a bag or it's neglected so it's nice to see one here. The stationary machines are between modern and top notch. No issues with rusting. They look good and they get the job done. Plenty of stationary machines. I've never seen them too busy. Lockers I was very surprised by how large the locker room was. I would guess around 200+ lockers. There are around 25 shower stalls with 20 free at any moment. What I loved most was that there was a steam sauna and a hot sauna in the shower area. They were never fully crowded and boy are they great after a workout. It's hard these days to find a gym with both types of saunas. Pool I didn't use the pool but I did see there was a pool for doing laps and there was a jacuzzi. Service I've gotten great services from the front staff. Moses and Moe were extremely helpful whenever I had questions or inquiries. They genuinely want to make sure guests enjoy their time. Overall a great place to take care of yourself both physically and mentally.

I came home from overseas at the end of Nov 2015. I joined Skyline Sport & Health so I could keep some momentum of my workouts going. It's now been a year and I just submitted my request for termination as I am once again going back overseas. BUYER BEWARE.... Because I submitted my request for termination on the 1st of November, I was told I would still owe for all of December. O_O What? Why? "It's in your contract." This was what I was told by Jenna in customer service.... "Per your membership agreement, if the cancellation notice is received between the first day and the twenty-fifth day of the month, the agreement shall terminate as of the last day of the first full calendar month following the date of such receipt. We received your request to cancel on November 1st; therefore, your December billing is valid." After a year? I would not have remembered this information. It's like that Liberty Mutual commercial...blah blah blah. Furthermore? IF the person who gave me member services number the day before on the 31st had just cancelled my membership instead right there in the club? I wouldn't owe December dues. Also I paid $50+ the first time I joined that gym a few years ago. This time I paid $39 a month because I found out my neighbors were paying even less. Skyline Sport & Health is all about deals when they want to be. I guess they get you one way or another on your way out the door. I don't appreciate any business tricking me especially when someone could have closed my account when I first asked instead of roping me into another month of fees when I won't even be in the country. Real nice customer appreciation. One last thing...the customers there are REALLY bad about wiping down equipment once they're done sweating all over it as well as talking on their cell phones during their work outs. There is little enforcement of gym etiquette or respect for other people here.

C Lilakos

Onelife has one of the best functional training spaces in the area. The gym floor is massive. There are several only platforms, racks, barbells, and kettlebells. There is a pool, tennis court, several group fitness rooms, and clean, spacious locker rooms with amenities. I came in and spoke to Shane regarding membership, I signed up the same day. The space is impressive and the customer service is great.

Ronald Casado Jr.

Nice gym, but the house keeping on the weekends is awful and they have trouble opening on time.

Marie Keith

We just went in for a tour of the facility, and getting a membership was a no-brainer! A friend referred me here (which she also gets a free gift for the referral!), and I kept dragging my feet to actually go check it out. We met with Shane who did an outstanding job showing us around, explaining everything, and making us feel super comfortable and valuable even though I tend to be a bit intimidated by gyms. I can see myself using most all of the things this place offers - which was impressive itself. The people I saw working out looked friendly and down to earth (this is important to me since I usually feel out of place in gyms). I also saw people of all ages and fitness levels. Their classes (free as part of membership and don't need sign-ups to attend) are plentiful with great variety. The cardio and weight equipment seems to be top notch with new equipment that I have never seen before but with added benefits (don't strain joints like the previous weight machines I've used and other innovative equipment). It wasn't crowded at all. They have a pool, whirlpool, sauna, tennis courts, personal training classes, and individual personal training (extra cost). Again, we were so impressed with Shane and with One Life. I'm not usually easily impressed.

Sean Lee

This place will fool you...it looks nice from all around, but it sucks...check out the weight area where there are lumps on the floor, and the weights are strewn everywhere. Check out your locker room if you go early in the mornings....some toilet stations have no toilet paper. Thank goodness there's those toilet seat covers. Then, let's step into the shower area. Know which showers have the most power? The ones where the soap in the containers are gone. But then you can't close the shower curtains because it's all ripped up and then when you do try to close the shower curtain you notice the mold on them. Okay, go to another shower stall and get the feeling that a water fountain type of weak stream is going to clean you and you wonder why the water never gets hot. This place will fool you. The staff is short of help, and it's not the staffs fault. Management cares only about making money. Go ahead and ask tennis players how much it costs to rent a court and some of the penalties behind being late. Ask why there is so much of a difference between membership dues where people pay around $30 a month, and then ask WHY it costs money to term your membership? This place will fool you. Management doesn't care...try writing them a note about fixing something. Ha hahahahahahahahahahahaaa

Signed up yesterday! Shane gave us a tour and explained everything to us! He was able to answer all our questions. THANK YOU SHANE.

Great facility with even greater people! Everyone there has been very friendly and accommodating especially the managing staff. The trainers there are well qualified and genuinely helpful. The weight room is well equipped and very open. It's an excellent environment to get a workout in as well as connect with other who share your interest.

Karl Boettcher

Great club for tennis, workout and personal training. Got entire family involved. Member since 1977. !!!!!!!

Darryl Brown

I have been at S&H, now One Life Fitness since 2005. The place is great. The staff is great but the best part about the club is the members. They enjoy the classes and they make the classes fun. They sing along in the class laugh and just have a good time while working out. The members are not snoody, just good folks to be around.

B W

I love this club! So glad I joined... the team is spectacular and I love the weight floor. The open floor plan and the equipment selection makes it easy breezy for me to get my workout in. I also loved the Smart Start process- it gave me a good vision of where I am currently and what my potential is in reference to my fitness goals. 100% recommend this club if you're in the market for a great gym in the area!

Carolyn Dino

Overall I would say this is a good gym. They have a lot of equipment especially for the serious lifter. 3-4 squat racks, 4 platforms and a large turf area. The front desk guy James is super sweet, funny and pleasant. It's always nice to see him when I check in. Some items needed for improvement. There are cobwebs on the high equipment, squat racks etc. The pool needs to be updated, it's pretty gross especially the tiling around the Jacuzzi. The trainers don't have the best etiquette and have done these deadlifts "challenges" in front of the squat racks making them unable to use. I did speak with the manager about this and he addressed it. Overall I'm happy with the gym and enjoy my workout.

OneLife is awesome!!! It's very clean and never busy. Shane was super helpful, if you ever need help talk to him.

Emerson Souza

Excellent facilities! Very clean and spacious. People there are incredibly helpful! Shane Hill helped us; find him when you visit!

Gloria Eddo

Shane and all the staff members are awesome. The gym is clean and has a good aura.

Where is Dakota? Honesty is the problem at this place. They literally say and offer you everything to convince you to sign up. Last year one of the people work here named Dakota, showed us around and told us literally everything is included if I subscribe that day. Next day I wanted to play Tennis and I was told no you cannot LOL . I said but Dakota said that? they said no he did not and I never saw Dakota again( Poor Dakota ). After a week, they ask me if I paid for one of the class in 2nd floor. Again, I said it is included in my membership. the response was: No it is not !!! I ended up fighting with them until they agreed to cancel my membership but they kept my wife on the contract and now she has problem with them. We all need to find Dakota to explain and tell us all how terrible is this place :@ Too bad I cannot reply back to the response from the business, but anyway here is a response to below reply from the business : How come you guys are so nice and polite when you reply here? Is it too hard for you to employee some polite and honest people at your business to prevent all these from happening?

I love this place. I've been here nine months ago, and I'm very satisfied. Most suits me a spacious gym with a running track. I have to commend the employees and staff who are very polite and professional...

I love this gym. Really nice staff that's super helpful. Also the gym layout is very unique. The gym has an awesome track that wraps around the gym fr cardio and awesome tuft field for conditioning. The gym has a great atmosphere and a lot of free weight options! Light weight baby!

Overall, I love this gym. There is tons of equipment and space, and a nice track that goes around the whole interior of the gym. I never have an issue finding a bike or treadmill to use, although stairmasters and ergs can be in high demand. There is always enough parking. The front desk and cleaning staff are incredibly friendly, and the trainers are kind and competent. Perhaps as a result of the friendly staff, most of the members are very friendly as well. The free classes are fun and well organized, and can be tailored to your fitness level. I've never done the Zone training class, but I have heard good things from friends and family. The locker facilities are clean and of adequate size and have a nice TV area where you can sit and wait if needed. There is a physical therapy clinic in the lobby which, although not directly affiliated with the gym, has been extremely convenient for me and my family. The fees are a great value for the services provided. I would absolutely recommend this gym to anyone who asks. Cons: As other reviewers have mentioned, gym etiquette by members can be a problem. People just leave mats lying around and fail to re-rack weights, clean machines after use or put away equipment, especially in the "mirror" area. At high traffic times, I do sometimes have trouble finding a place to put down my mat if I want to do floor stuff, like ab routines, ect. On the flip side, the fact that people don't put things away around means that if I leave my space briefly to get a drink of water, other patrons or even staff sometimes take over my mat and weights (I always leave my towel, phone and keys to mark the mat as "in use", and leave for no more than two minutes or so). I have also had a problem several times in the pool. Some swimmers who fashion themselves as more serious athletes are quite touchy about sharing lanes, which is a problem in a small three-ish lane pool. The lifeguard on duty usually doesn't appear to notice or care.

If you are a returning college student look for another gym. Workers and sales employees provided me and friends with misinformation regarding fees and cancellation. Involved the four of us to pay two extra months when we went back to college. After contacting member services they stated that none of us had proof of our statements and charged us for the following month of the email.

Its a clean place with enough equipments and adequate space for everyone. Proper lighting, and friendly staff are other privileges. The only issue is that of timing. It closes down so early. 10:00pm is almost sunset nowadays. I hope they will extend the time until 12:00pm at least.

my gym for the past 6 years. Ignore the old reviews about old equipment. It's all brand new for the past few years. I go there for the classes, and they are excellent, very good trainers

Best club in area!!! Love the staff and facility!!!

I have been in this gym for the last 2 years. All I have are good words, the facility is really good and big, so you never feel it is crowed even in evenings. The towel service is really convenient, and the clening staff is after every single detail. On top of that, the trainers are really professional and the guest services amazing!

I have been a member in Skyline since 2007, and have loved the well rounded offering from the club. Great variety of classes, kids club, tennis club( my boys attend it now for 3 years) swimming pool, sauna. The monthly fees are quite reasonable and the club is never crowded.

My wife and I have been members for about 2 years and sadly the place has gone down hill. The facility is spacious and well equipped, but house keeping is terrible and the place has become just plain nasty. Moreover the front desk staff is rude(especially on weekends) and lazy. The final straw for us was the club repeatedly failing to open on time , which is absolutely unacceptable for those of us workout in the morning and need to get to work. Happening once is understandable, but repeatedly is not. Further at one point the showers in the women's locker room were out of order and at no point did the club alert us of this, via email or text... once again unacceptable for those of us who need to go to work in the morning. For these reasons we have decided to leave the gym/cancel our membership and have signed up with The Energy Club. While more expensive, the facility is very well maintained, staff is great, and they actually open early!

Vince Fertig

I really enjoy this gym. It is spacious, has lots of amenities, not overly crowded, and the staff is friendly. My only complaint is how cold the locker room and gym floor are on cold days.

Maureen Braun

I have been an instructor for 17 years. I absolutely love our members and fellow instructors. There is a warm sense of community with health minded people. I enjoy teaching my classes and personally invite you to join us. As a bonus, the recent updates to the facility are awesome. Maureen Braun

Discussing toilets. Swimming pool toilets disgusting. I got into a shower that had poop and smelled of it too. Sies.

Lillian Clementi

In general, I love the club and the people who work and exercise there. Area for improvement: could we work out some kind of arrangement so that fitness classes don't monopolize floor space, hand weights and other equipment, especially when they aren't actually using them? The class participants pay extra, of course, but I pay membership to have access to the gym and its equipment, and it's enormously frustrating to see equipment I need sitting idle (and taking up floor space) for nearly an hour when the class only uses it for a few minutes. Thank you.

I travel to Virginia Beach a lot. ALL the facilities minus the chesapeake location (customer service is absolutely low) are awesome! I tried several gyms over the years..... So happy to have One Life in DC now! Nothing but positivity for Skyline location.

Andy Asihel

I have a been a member of all S & H club since 1984 and I frequently visit the Skyline everyone and since last year under the new management, under Terrie Lambert , I have observed a lot of improvement of the club"s facilities . Terrie has shown a lot leadership qualities especially to all customers/members of the club at Skyline. Her office is always open to anyone for any small issues or suggestions and a great listener. Hopefully, soon this club will as good as the clubs like Maclean, Herndon World gate , Crystal city etc. Keep it up the good job Terrie! Andy ,

This is a functional but rather dated facility. Upside is that it includes Tennis, Swimming, Indoor Track, classes, Sauna and more. Downsides, it's dirty in places and the showers are frequently moldy.

Mike Yusuf

Elevator is always broken. Cold during winter months. Many repairs that have gone unaddressed for months.

Teresa Bulgrin

I visited this gym while traveling for work. They were extremely friendly and helpful. I was very impressed by the equipment and was shocked to even see indoor Tennis Courts! I definitely will visit again when I am in the area. Staff was wonderful in answering all my questions.

Friendly front desk - huge gym and members are all pretty nice and aren't snobby....facility is huge and love the indoor track and the large free weight area.....

Tennis courts are dark which can make it difficult to see during match play. Parking here is also very limited.

Great gym. New equipment and large cardio area as well as a huge weights area this is my favorite gym. Real nice looking turf area for personal training and other workouts as well. There is a nice pool upstairs, beautiful looking tennis courts, good locker rooms with steam and sauna. Great gym with easy parking.

Been to A LOT of gyms in my 40+ years and I gotta say Online Fitness Skyline is definitely at the top of my list. They continually are improving facilities, seeking member feedback/comments and you can always be guaranteed Jackie will greet you with a HUGE smile!!!

Lao Xiong

Awesome gym. One of the best gym in the area. The staffs is really knowledgeable and helpful. Love the gym layout. Love the indoor running track.

Terrie Lambert

I have been at this club for the last 6 months. I workout regularly with Mike B., he is extremely knowledgeable and helps to keep me on track with my goals but also makes it really fun! There are a lot of improvements currently being made to the facility and I am excited to see where we are 6 months from now!
