I'm really happy with Marketplace Fitness. As of the time of writing, I've been coming here for seven months.
For the cardio crowd, they have a great variety of equipment: different kinds of treadmills, stationary bikes, rowing machines, and ellipticals so you can decide which one suits your needs best. For Crossfitters, they have wall-mounted racks for pull-ups, medicine balls, etc.
As a weightlifter, I'm happy with their setup: plenty of free weights (plus two cages, horizontal and incline bench press setups, a smith machine) supplemented with some machines (pulley system, leg press, lat machine, rowing machine, etc).
I've noticed folks are great about wiping down their benches and putting things back when finished, and are happy to work one another in on shared equipment - great culture of gym-goers. I'm also really happy and relieved that I've never felt out-of-place being a woman in the weights room - in the early morning, there's usually a couple of other women (or femme-coding people) in there with me, and every once in a blue moon it's all female! So to other female lifters, I vouch for MPF as a good spot.
The location is excellent, centrally located by the bus system so it's easy to go on my commute to work. Both the workout areas and (women's) locker room have always smelled and looked clean. The couple of times I've had minor issues, they've been resolved promptly and graciously.
Very happy with my experience here, recommend to others.
