Very friendly staff with climbing that caters to any level from absolute beginning to expert climber. Wall angles range from moderate slab to horizontal roof. Routes range from 5.5 to 5.13. Not the best place for bouldering, but the gym compensates by having tall walls - upwards of about 50 ft.

Friendly, helpful staff. Never too busy and lots of variety. Bouldering and rock climbing options.

Very nice climbing gym, the setting is interesting and the walls are tall but it's very small and the staff members aren't my favorite

Love climbing at Quechee. Everybody I've met who works or climbs there is super nice, routes are challenging/fun, and environment is safe and welcoming. Highly recommended. Bryan kind of smells weird though.

Rock Climbing can be a little pricey in general, but this place has a really nice community if you get a membership and become a regular. Never hesitate to make new friends here!

Brittany Crocco

This is a fun place to climb with the routes changed on a regular basis, but at the right frequency. Setup seems especially good for people just trying climbing out or those who are newer, but there's a number of harder routes available as well. While the Rutland location has a wider variety of climbs, this location has some bigger walls. Staff is very friendly.

Staff was great, very helpful and friendly. Roped routes looked well set. Not a ton of routes, but the walls are reasonably tall. Bouldering was a bit weird; coming from DC-area gym the bouldering was really stiff and the moves were very difficult. If you are a novice I would not recommend even attempting to boulder here. Seems like a good place to take a family with kids to try out toprope climbing. Staff took plenty of time to explain how to properly tie in and belay. 4 stars instead of 5 only b/c of the bouldering; the setting feels like an afterthought with the lack of feet, generally above-grade holds and movements, with interesting ideas that haven't been tested or really thought out for different body shapes and sizes.

Mary E. Clark

A small but nice gym with mostly top roped routes, but the grades were set to be relatively challenging (the grades were set to reflect outdoor climbing grades). This setting would make it really challenging for a novice to enjoy the gym.

Leanne Salls

Very fun, different activity!

Patrick Adams

Very helpful management. Taught us everything we needed to learn how to belay eschother. Made sure we were both comfortable and let us at it! Quite a few diffrent courses of every rope which there are a good amount of. Thanks guys!

Raz

It is a great place to learn or sharpen your climbing skills. It also offers a friendly atmosphere suited for parties large or small.

WJ Patry

Great place to take the kids. They don't have auto belays, so an adult needs to be on belay with each climber.

GreyBeard

Nice staff and fellow climbers that are in the younger age bracket. Decent prices and facilities with the only issue being not a lot of basic climbing routes.

GMRCC Quechee is one of my favorite places. The atmosphere is amazing and very supportive. The regulars are all wonderful. The owners and employees are all helpful, and really, the regulars are just as willing to help you out with tips and ideas to help your climbing (if you want it) or to give a belay. The route setting is also great. There's a good variety of climbs. Not everything is a ladder and not everything is super technical. New routes are always showing up.
