Excellent facility, knowledgeable staff, and comfortable environment. I use Powershop for both my own workouts, and I have also employed the services of one of their trainers Josh. Josh has done a tremendous job of learning out capabilities and limitations and working around any that pop up while still making sure that we push ourselves and have a great workout! One of my favorite features of Powershop is that there is plenty of room, and usually have no problem with having plenty of personal space. There's no stupid alarm if you lift too heavy or drop weights, and there's no pizza on Friday. This is a gym for people who want to actually work out.

By far the most enjoyable gym in SoDak. Plenty of equipment, knowledgable staff, and always kept clean. Wouldn't workout at another gym in town!

In my travels I have visited a number of gyms. From north to sout and east to west Powershop Gym is the best. I was simply visiting Brookings SD for a wedding. As always I have to find a gym that is not only convenient, but has atmosphere. The second I walked through the door it was all smiles and inspiration. The staff is amazing and helpful. They have everything you need in one spot. From Hammer strength to cross fit this place has got it. I live three hours away in Fargo ND and will definitely make the trip down for a weekend just to lift. And I'm bringing friends!!

Powershop Gym has an awesome selection of equipment. I also use there training program 3 days a week and try to workout on my own 2 days. I recommend Powershop Gym and their training staff to anyone. I feel the experience the last 7 months has improved my health greatly.

They have a wealth of experience and talent and you can tell they have a passion for fitness and healthy living. After a year of being a member , I decided to leave an honest review. A wonderful place to work out at! They have all th equipment you might possibly need, for power lifting, crossfit, aerobics, pilates, stretching, boxing anything! The stuff is wonderful, showers and mirrors are always clean. Nice water stations. Bunch of cardio machines. Highly recommended! 5 stars.

Truth be told I am wont to grade other facilities of this kind in light of the exceptional circumstance that is Powershop. The machines work, the area is clean and the staff invariably courteous -- even if the patron is of curmudgeonly persuasion.

I started with the group trainings three months after having my third c-section. In just two months I went from 36% body fat to 20%. I love that the trainers mix things up. We never do the same circuit twice! The nutritionists are helpful and attentive as well, making this the best all-around fitness program I've ever done (and I've done my fair share!). I am definitely committed to this gym...especially after all the commitment the staff, trainers, and other group members have shown me! :)

The Powershop Gym is, by far, the BEST gym in Brookings. I've tried them all and keep coming back to PSG because they do EVERYTHING the right way. They have a very knowledgeable staff that can offer valuable advice with everything from training to nutrition. I feel they are genuinely interested in helping me achieve my fitness goals and are always approachable when I have questions. I never have to wait for equipment and the gym has everything you could want in equipment in order to vary your workouts. Gregg and Pam have over 20 in the gym industry and regular fixtures in the gym. They are truly on-site owners. The facility is clean, the equipment is modern and kept in like new condition and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful....everything I expect in a gym.
