God help you if cancel your membership and are owed a refund. Wayne, the club owner AUTHORIZED THE CANCELLATION IN MAY for a refund of $395.95. Great. But WAYNE'S HELP ENDED THERE. National Fitness (in Utah) handles billing/collections and unfortunately REFUNDS, not his club. SINCE M-A-Y NATIONAL FITNESS HAS GIVEN EXCUSES... they won't give the refund via the credit card because Wayne processed the original credit card payment (not National Fitness) so refund check #1.... got mailed it to the wrong address... wait 30 days... re-mailed. But it never shows up. Must be lost.... being tracked... wait 30 more days. Customer service says accounting will call in 7 - 10 days. No call. CS again says accounting will call you in 7 - 10 days... may have to be mailed again, wait 7 - 10 more days just to find out IF they will mail check #3. Or is it check #4? Or #5? IT'S SEPTEMBER!!! And now it may be 30 more days??!! What a run around!! ARRRRRGGGGGHHHH!!!!

I went in last year to test out the free trial. At least that's what I thought. IT IS NOT A FREE TRIAL. The associate told me that I had 30 free days to decide if I wanted a membership. If I didn't want it all I had to do was come back in and cancel. I came back in a week to cancel; mind you I NEVER used any of the equipment. So the guy tells me I had to call there financial company. I called the financial company and they tell me that I would have had to cancel within 3 days. But those were not the terms that were told to me. So she then tells me that I am responsible for the entire 2 year agreement even though I have never used any of the equipment.

This gym is expensive and facilities are sub par. The owner refuses to buy mats, it’s dirty, and there’s no staff before 8 am.

I love how I can come in and go straight to my machines of choice without having to wait on people. The amount of equipment is great, lots of variety. Being out 3 times recently because for medical reasons has set me back but Omni has allowed me to get back the stamina that I had before hand. Friendly staff and members!

In January I got a personal trainer, Rob Fesler, now 10 months in I've lost 10 pounds, gained and toned my arms, back, legs, and tummy, I am so happy with my results! The gym it self is staffed with friendly people, is very clean and well equipped with a Hammer Strength free weight area, Life Fitness machines, group classes, tanning, sauna, and cardio cinema.

Gym was often dirty, the AC was out for a couple weeks during the middle of the summer one year. Classes very inconvenient if you work. I sent in a cancellation notice over 30 days before the contract ended to corporate as the contract stated, yet I am still being charged. Highly recommend NOT joining this gym. Very irritated with this whole experience and will let everyone who is looking for a gym know.

Is a very good place to go to the gym. Omni has a daycare and the gym is 24 hours but the daycare is not. Omni is close to NewSpring church and Save a lot.

Awful experience with this gym! Ended up locked into a 2 year membership after being informed it was a month to month membership and in addition money was randomly taken off of a card after we instructed them it wasn’t the primary card for the account! Inconsiderate business!

Be prepared to deal with lots of headaches. Once you sign their contract, it is impossible to cancel. In addition, lot's of hidden fees. Judging by the age of their equipment, building upkeep, and their customer service, it seems to be a sinking ship. I switched to 9 Rounds Fitness across town, great place to work out, and friendly staff.

The policies that are in place regarding cancelling membership are ridiculous. After calling and requesting that my membership be cancelled (after being a member three years) the third party billing company stated that there wasn't any way to cancel over the phone. I then sent a cancellation request in the mail, but they continued to draft membership fees for two more months. When I contacted them to resolve the issue they stated that they had just received the cancellation request letter and stated that I'd be charged for an additional month. I feel as if I've been scammed!

First thing DON'T let them auto draft your account it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to cancel. You have to send a letter to the billing company and then it takes 30 days. So you have to pay for another month. I feel like they make it so hard to cancel your membership so they can get more money. You can't even talk to anyone in the gym to cancel. So when I finally get done with them. I won't go back or recommend anyone either. I will let as many people as I can know these facts.

I loved the people that I met at the gym but the gym is own by greedy Satan and I pray for you if you join this gym and not planning on staying till death do you apart they will never let you out your contract they will renew it themselves!!! Do drink the poison....you will be sorry!!!

Love this place! If you're looking for a gym, this is it! The staff is awesome! If you need a trainer, I highly recommend Rob Fesler! I've been working with him for almost a year now. I've learned so much about proper nutrition and proper exercise techniques. It's a great no pressure, high energy, highly motivational kind of place! Can't recommend it enough!

I LOVE Omni Fitness of Greenwood. There so much variety: weight machines, free weights, ellipticals, rowing machines...not to mention the cinema room, fitness classes and child care. After your work out take a break in the sauna with a fitness drink. I’ve been a member of several gyms. Omni is definitely the best. There are so many choices, there’s no waiting for equipment. DID I MENTION THEY’RE ALWAYS OPEN!!!

Been a member for over 4 years. 3/4 of the time employees are smartasses. If you like to powerlift or lift at all don't go here because they have banned lifting chalk, shoeless lifts that help with overall form, and if you do any of that they are extremely disrespectful. One employee hinted that I had "no common sense" because I squat without shoes because it helps my form. Don't sign a contract because there cancellation steps are ridiculous. You have to go through a completely different company to cancel and it takes up to 2 months. Giving them more opportunity to scam you out your hard earned money

Wouldn't go there. Wanted to use the free trial and they wouldn't accept it. Because we don't have a local address on our license even though we have a vacation home near by. People didn't even want to work something out. Manager was just shy of rude.

Best you have in Greenwood, the whole place is judgment FREE and 24 hours. More options and machines with no kids running around. Best step classes, PUMP, LES MILES, SPIN, sauna, steam room, cardio, free weights, personal training from PERSONAL TRAINERS, member appreciation days, and lowest package deals up front with no contracts.

Has basically everything you need for working out unless you’re a champion bodybuilder. Good pricing but weird $99 set up fee. This is waived if you sign up on your first visit which seems like coercion. But overall, good local gym and friendly staff.

Omni fitness is an extremely nice gym. Everything is exceptionally modern and well maintained. They offer every type of cardio equipment you can think of. Not to mention the cardio cinema. Nothing better than catching a movie while running off those calories. They have an endless amount of strength machines; There is no waiting! The staff always makes my day. From Wayne and Shay at the front desk, who are eager to take care of any issues that may arise, To the training staff with Andrew and Matt. Just all around a fantastic fitness club with amazing amenities and an even better staff. I love this place!

Payment company is terrible. Do not sign a contract, it is basically impossible to cancel. Gym is ok, but not worth the hassle of payment company. Go to somewhere that is month to month or that doesn’t use peak payment!

I have been a member with OMNI for one year, as has my wife. Overall I have had a very positive expereience and I like the place! In the past year I have gotten in much better shape, and that is due to Omni's equipment & my attendance. Unlike it's prior owner, the current owner keeps the place quite clean, and the equipment is in very good shape. The biggest issue I see with other posters here regards the contract, which I signed too. Apparently, these doubters do not understand, A CONTRACT IS A CONTRACT! Just like a cell phone, no different. if you do not want to sign the contract you can pay up front, so the option is there, but blindly signing something and then crying about it is just a sign of immaturity. Again, I have enjoyed my year there, and I have one more year to go. When complete I will re evaluate, but as of one year of faithful attendance, I have nothing to complain about.

Worst experience ever: I just returned to the area and stopped at the closest gym. 99% of the people I know have had a bad experience here. The employees are EXTREMELY RUDE! One criticized me the entire time we talked, but not about my body, diet or anything relevant to the reason that I was there. He seemed very gloomy, ill, and negative. That's definitely not the type of staff I want to deal with when I'm trying to bulk up and remain fit. The owner's son seemed to be friendly, but everyone else was a bit unprofessional and rude. This place really needs to get it together! Anytime and YMCA are much friendlier and they cost less.

Omni offers a wide range of fitness options including cardio, free weights, and group clssses. The facilities and equipment are kept clean and well maintained. Additionally the membership options are very affordable.

Pathetic excuse for a business. Since the first day we signed on I questioned the owner about the contract since it seemed that you cant get out of it unless you move far away or end of dying... As soon as I said something he started getting defensive and walked away. We have been trying to cancel the contract since we actually did move over 50miles away and havent been able to. After our contracts ended we found out they have been taking out monthly payments from our bank WITHOUT permission. Our contract stated that we will not have monthly payments drawn after our contract is finished. We have contacted them multiple times and if you mesdage them they will read the complaint and never respond. If you call they just keep running it on circles. We have had to contact the BBB and if they cant help then we will have to escalate our issues further. At the end of the day this gym has an owner that tries to sweet talk you into a scam then wont even say hello to you after you sign. Then they apparently will continue to steal money after the contract has ended.

The gym was a pretty nice gym..but do not give them you debt card or anything. .they will keep billing you after you cancel. .even after 2 years I had to cancel my debt card..go to the YMCA!! Save yourself the headache
