Stay away! The gym just keeps charging you and will not work with you if you get injured and are unable to use the gym. They say they will but I was still charged the full month and was told I would have to wait until next month to reduce my rate to $9 after I notified them on the 3rd. The gym is not that great for the amount of money they charge. I joined in February and was charges $120, then $34 for one month, then charged $34 when I could not go, then $49 in April for the annual fee. Read the contract close and see what equipment they have before paying out all that money. Other gyms have better equipment for less money!

Deanna, the General Manager, is very accommodating and professional! I had a billing issue with O2 recently and she made it right swiftly even though it wasn't her error that caused it. She was incredibly understanding and empathetic with my issue. I cancelled my O2 membership in January, signed paperwork, and fulfilled my final monthly payment. All was well for the last 5 months, then suddenly I was charged 5 consecutive $29.00 monthly membership fees in a single day. I had initiated my membership in Summerville years ago then moved to the other side of Summerville and started using the Goose Creek location. Apparently your file gets transferred to the location you frequent most, so when I went to cancel, I was informed to do so at Goose Creek. Whoever processed my cancellation at Goose Creek failed to complete the process, and O2's billing dept managed to reconnect to my account FIVE MONTHS LATER and charge me for these completely illicit "back-payments," though I had properly cancelled my account and should have been in good standing with them. (Corporate billing was somehow under the impression my account had never been cancelled, and apparently the only thing stopping payments these 5 months was a coincidental debit card change.) I was legitimately convinced O2 corporate or someone at Goose Creek was trying to steal from me for a hot second. After trying to block the payments at the bank and calling O2's corporate office in Raleigh; I found out the charges were initiating from Summerville and drove straight there to handle it. I told Deanna the situation, and she logged in, found my cancellation document on Goose Creek's system. (Luckily they hadn't failed to upload it, I don't know if I kept the record or not.) She refunded everything and apologized profusely, as well as emailed me the cancellation document so I now have proof of my account standing. I highly recommend the Summerville O2 location, it's reviews speak for themselves, and I can tell Deanna is a really sweet individual who cares about her members. If you go to another location however, keep sharp records. I was ready to get real spicy real fast, in a legal way, on this issue because of the principle here. Too many gyms have operated with underhanded techniques in the past.

AVOID O2 Fitness!!! Stopped to cancel my account months ago. No one told me that I had to do it online. I thought I was good. Apparently that is some trick to keep getting your payments. Three months later found it was still going on my credit card. I did not argue to get reimbursed for the prior months. All I wanted was the membership stopped immediately. Not only would they not do that. They charged me for the annual usage fee even though I am canceling and charged me into the next month. Their records clearly show I last came in to a gym in April and was almost a daily regular before then. They have taken payments for three months of non-use, and still want to take me to collections for a month and a half membership they are charging me for and an annual club fee that came due the same time I’m canceling and I am not even a member of the club to benefit from. Find another gym!

I have been a member for almost 1 year now and i have referred lots of people here the trainers are very professional with great customer service very helpful and concern with your workout results and safety.I feel so much better since I've started here and when i feel like giving up someone from there staff always have an encouraging word....just to name a few Bobbi,Josh,and Michelle etc...Thanks for your hospitality!!!
