I like that they have all the equipment in need to get a good workout. Not crowded in the morning when I go. They don't have sectioned off area where we you are not able to use certain equipment. And the cost is great.

Pretty crumby for a Crunch. Had higher expectations based off of other locations. Wanted to trial for a day to see if it would work for my routine; however, "the 2 month opening window had passed" per the employee at front desk. Unfortunately, because of this cannot recommend.

Best gym around BY FAR. classes are great, gym is clean and modern. Personal training and small group training help to start.. Massage chairs and tanning too. Every time my sister comes up from Florida she wishes they would open one down there.. And they finally are! Go CRUNCH!

I switched about a year ago from another chain gym. The free weights and cross-training equipment is FAR superior to my last gym. Cardio equipment is pretty standard. Classes seem to be (disclaimer: never done one) popular and well-attended. Staff is friendly and the facilities are clean. They even offer one-on-one personal training (costs more, but what doesn't?). If you're looking for a place to get in shape or stay in shape, it's definitely a good value!

Brand new gym to the area. Cheap membership and classes are included in some memberships. Nice, friendly staff. Only con I've found so far is that it's sometimes hard to get into desired classes. I've learned to set an alarm to remind myself to sign up because if you wait, you won't get in by registering online. They are working to add classes and you can register in the gym an hour before a class so I think with time, it will improve.

Why should you choose this gym over planet fitness?? I’ll tell you. Let me start off by mentioning the two people who stood out to me. Devon the gentlemen who showed me the gym and reviewed the membership options. He was so very kind and happy. I was in a grumpy/tired mood and he was very patient with me as he showed me the gym. I told him I only wanted the basic services like the equipment and he didn’t push me I get the fancy memberships. He still told me about them and encouraged me to try the classes but I declined and he was okay with that. I still see Devon when I come to the gym and he is always so inviting. Megan the personal trainer who did my 1hr introduction session. I told her what I wanted to see for myself and that I didn’t have a lot of money for actual sessions. She was okay with this and still give me all the resources and knowledge I needed. She helped me go through the equipment so I could see it used properly and gave me pointers for how to achieve the gains that I wanted. The equipment is top of the line and well kept. The locker room is always clean and the showers are very nice. They have a nice water fountain that fills water bottles easily. An entire area for free weights An entire area for more challenging work outs Loads of cardio equipment Schwinn spikes and a yoga studio that you can use if the classes aren’t in session Loads of weight machines Hydromassage- I don’t have the membership for this Tanning- I don’t have the membership for this I think for $10 a month all that is worth it! When I signed up Devon made everything very clear so I wouldn’t have issues later on. 1.Monthly payments that keep going 2. Can cancel at any time with written notice or going into the gym. If you cancel 10 days before be billing cycle, you will still get charged that month 3. Annual membership fee around 60 days after you sign up (don’t remember the exact number) I will not settle for Planet fitness ever again.

Turf Dreamin and other adventures

The small, dark haired, young lady who opens in the mornings always has the gym opened earlier than 430am. You have no idea how awesome this is for people who need to make it to work early in the morning but want to have enough time to workout. Thank you for having her open the gym in the mornings! She goes above and beyond what she needs to do and all of us early birds appreciate her greatly!

Great ambiance! Lots of different levels of skilled classes, equipment and trainers. Highly recommend the "Pound" class, Penny is great, very motivational, but all instructors are wonderful that I've encountered. The only thing here lacking is a pool.

PLEASE READ before signing up. I have to share my experience so others are not alone and to help customers make a great buying decision. Crunch fitness has great equipment and the members like family there however the staff there is terrible!!!! I have brought this company dozens of referrals and put money inside their pockets. They repay me by canceling my membership because I worked out with m brother. They thought I was training my brother for money and my friends for money. I was only their workout partner and motivating them to say in shape. I told Karen to check the camera footage to show her staff had treated me and m brother very poorly and I still don't have membership back. Planet fitness actually greets you not this place. Crunch fitness just wants your money and don't give a damn about you. Very disrespectful!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guarantee they will lose money. I promise that!

I like taking stationary bike classes. Here the instructors usually come in after class should be starting so classes usually start more than 5 minutes late. They choose a lot of music that is really slow that is hard to get inspiration from when you’re working out. Once they literally played “Going to the Chapel of Love” during the middle of the workout. Unlike other gyms I have been to they don’t time the workouts with the songs they choose so your working out hard with no music during the delay between songs. Today the instructors music source died during the middle of the workout so there was no music until she dug around in her bag and found her IPad. IMO the professionalism is that of volunteers at a rec center not a service I am paying full price for. The bikes they have are the best of any gym I have ever been to but the instructors leave a lot to be desired. I only do morning classes so maybe afternoon classes are better.

TERRIBLE! I DO NOT recommend this gym at all!!! All they want is money, they don’t care about the people. I tried canceling my membership and first they tell me that I can’t over the phone. I found time to go into the gym to cancel and they charged me $20 the next day. I let that go, figured it had to do with the time frame of canceling. I asked if that was the ONLY charge coming out after this cancellation and the lady said yes. I even had her make sure and she said she was 100% positive that it would be the only charge! Four days later they charged me ANOTHER $40!!! I called in. Talked to the manager and everything. He agreed his staff made a mistake on both charges. Agreed that they gave me false information on BOTH charges, but REFUSED to give me my money back! He even hung up the phone on me because he was done talking about the situation!!!! They took a total of $60 out of my account within a week!! They don’t care about the people what so ever. They are just money hungry. I recommend planet fitness, I’ve never had this problem with planet fitness. They were always kind and willing to return money if there was a mistake on their part! If you read through the other poor rates for this gym, they talk about similar problems that deals with money. So I’m not the only one. Again I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!

I really enjoyed crunch and wish we had one in Hershey. It was a good mix of different fitness levels. No one seems out of place there. Everything from the gym floor, cardio equipment, to the bathrooms are clean. They have great membership rates, trainers, tanning, et. I wish we had one in Hershey.

I went here for a short time. The gym is pretty well kept but I really didn't like the layout of the place. Everything felt cramped and too close together. I didn't have a problem cancelling though which is always appreciated at a gym. It's not a bad gym by any means and the classes they offer are wonderful.

I absolutely loved going to Crunch. Such a happy atmosphere and positivity. The classes are grate the instructors are awesome! Zumba is definitely my favorite and so is pound. I do recommend going. It does make me sad that I can't go no more because I moved. They definitely need more locations.

When I first enrolled in Crunch fitness O absolutely loved it. Once my work schedule change and I was no longer able to utilize the gym I tried canceling my membership 3 months in a row. Crunch refused to cancel my membership which resulted in numerous bank few for me. The staff and customer service number refused to help me or solve my problem over the phone they insist I had to come in person. Due to my schedule I was unable to come to the gym so I'm not sure what made them think I would be able to come and sign a paper to cancel my membership. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a gym and I will be going back to Planet Fitness. While the staff is courteous in person while you're using their state-of-the-art equipment that does not make up for their lack of customer service when you are ready to no longer be a participant in their gym I am deeply saddened by this and I seldom write bad reviews but I feel that a bad review was an order for this company considering they only want to take people's money and not be any of assistance and customer service related incidences.
