Clean and smells good. Rarely, if ever, have I seen any broken equipment (unlike LA Fitness). Could have a few more pieces of machine equipment (like a calf-raise machine), but not a deal-breaker. Plenty of cardio equipment. Location is a nice shopping center with decent parking.

Not impressed. I came in and told them I belong to Planet Fitness but wanted to try them out. Staff couldn't be bothered to show a potential customer how they are better than Planet Fitness. They just stood at the desk and said here are the machines go ahead and try them out. Nobody even told me anything about classes they offer. Again it was just here is where the classes are. They didn't even offer to explain memberships. I will be sticking to Planet Fitness

Gym is clean and spacious. The staff is awesome! They have two power/squat racks plus a platform, and a prowler sled. If this is jibberish to you it's a great weightlifting gym as well as great normal gym.

Terrible customer service. When my sister and I returned our jump rope back the new girl completely ignored our existence until my sister said here you go. We shouldn't have to approach the greeter she should be aware of her surroundings and greet us. If I could give no stars on here I would.

Now, This is what a gym should be! Updated machinery, room to train, a clean and healthy atmosphere, especially if you like to work out early in the morning! And it is affordable!

Favorite gym..You can do whatever you want there..Good vibe...If anything I just wish the stretchers wouldn't stretch on the turf..You can't use the sled anytime you want because people are in the way. Other than my favorite gym..I been to them all and the price is only $20 with unlimited guess privileges.

If there were an option for zero stars I would select it! The sales associate for signing up private training sessions is nothing short of a liar! Taking advantage of a miner signing up for a membership and explaining things to them all the while lying about how the membership truly works. After calling to speak with management I continuously got the run around and was told someone would call me back. I never received a call and I had to call again the next day. There was an overpayment for the private training and they refuse to refund it even when it wasn't used. I asked to speak with someone else in charge. I then asked them to cancel the membership and they wouldn't accept it over the phone. I feel sorry for anyone who thinks about signing up with this company. I'll definitely be going back to planet fitness, they don't lie to their customers. The manager Shane was extremely rude and inconsiderate to any customers needs. I demanded a refund and they refuse to give it to me. I am now disputing with my bank. Overall completely unprofessional! I warn all to stay away!!!

I’ve been going to this gym for about a year now and it’s pretty great! Haven’t tried the classes but they’re always packed from what I see. A lot of space and variety in equipment with them adding new things every now and again. My only complaint is that there aren’t enough barbell stations and at night it’s too busy. Good gym though.

I gave this place 5 stars. The machines and the staff are great. However, They need to emphasis that people are there to workout not to listen to people talk on their phone. These types of people should be advised that the interuptions are not tolerate. Every place has those few people This place has them as well

Great place! Fills a need since The Gym on Church Road closed. Staff are super nice and helpful. Changing room and showers kept clean and very tidy. Overall, a great place to work out!

Awful gym. Slaps you with $100 worth of fees within the first month. Meager selection and quantity of workout machines. Scheduled my free session with a PT without notification and I missed it, never got a second one. Inconvenient hours, I was prevented from working out at my leisure on at least 4 occasions. Go somewhere else and pay less for better quality.

The Good: 1. I LOVE the workout tower, or whatever it is called. This makes functional workouts really easy, and prevents me from getting odd stares when I practice on the monkey bars at the local playground. To me this is and the other functional equipment (kettlebells, battle ropes, foam plyo boxes, etc.) are a main reason why I chose this gym. A rope climb would be nice, but I guess this is limited by space and liability. I like the rock climbing hold feature. It's really smart that they integrated a target for the wall balls. I could go on, but in short I really like every aspect of this feature! 2. The olympic workout tower and set up is a tremendous benefit at this price point. Really impressive set up with bumper plates and all. 3.. Employees are super nice and helpful. I feel bad for the personal trainers who seem to be lacking clients at the moment. The staff who lead classes are super enthusiastic; really more than could be expected given the circumstances. 4. The facility is very clean. Bathrooms are large and have showers. It is a nice looking gym in general. 5. There is a very good selection of equipment; Concept rowers (impressive), stairmasters, arc and elliptical trainers, a massive amount of treadmills, etc. The flip weight selection is genius, and so much better than the old pin system. All equipment is really high quality. 6. The half hour workout circuit is really helpful when pressed for time. 7. The hydromassage is really nice, and I haven't had much problem with it being booked up yet. 8. Super close to my house, and convenient to several other stores. 9. $10 for basic membership and $20 for peak is dirt cheap given the facility. 10. Props for providing foam rollers. The Bad: 1. There are probably eight stations that have paper towels and cleaning solution, but ONLY ABOUT TWO TRASH CANS. Crunch PLEASE FIX THIS this simple request by putting a trash can under every paper towel station. I don't remember this being as much of a problem in the first week or two. There is no reason to have to walk halfway across the gym to throw out my paper towel. It's inconvenient, time consuming, and I think less people will clean equipment for this reason. 2. It's a slight pain having to get a voucher for every class you attend. I do understand that this allows them to have two separate pricing levels, and therefore remain competitive with ultra cheap gyms such as Planet Fitness. It probably also makes the classes less full, so I guess it's also sort of a benefit. 3. They did a great job of maximizing space, but space is still limited. There is only one group fitness room, and therefore limited classes. Parking is also limited, although this hasn't been a massive problem thus far. 4. There is a lack of variety of classes compared to some gyms. I think this is limited to lack of space, the cheap membership price, and the gym trying to appeal to a very wide range of members. TRX is a nice touch, but it would be great to have spinning classes. I'm not that in shape, but as my fitness level progresses I could see being a little bored. If you've ever been to a bootcamp style class, or especially six zone at the NAC or HAC you get the picture. 5. Towels are not provided, and there are not paper towels in the bathrooms. I also understand this is a limitation due to the size of the facility and the price. However, coming from a gym where workout and bath towels are provided, I really miss this. It's hard to wash your face without towels in the bathroom. This does keep things cleaner looking obviously. 6. People do not use the 1/2 hour circuit correctly; from the front to the back of the gym I believe. I guess the lack of a clock or numbering add to this. 7. There is not really a designated ab and stretching area. I guess the area with the turf carpet is for this, but it seems like a little bit of an odd choice for this purpose. Overall the gym is EXCELLENT given the price, and I am very fortunate to have it so close to my house. Nothing really comparable in the area.

What a treasure!!! I LOVE THIS GYM!!! Everyone there is very nice and extremely helpful (especially Julianna, who is there every day with a smile even at horribly early hours of the morning!!!) There is great variety of equipment, classes, it's spotlessly clean, and it's really close to me, so it gives me no excuse and I'm really enjoying the way I feel after my workouts. Thank you Crunch!!!

I tried this gym out on their free trial this Summer and was not impressed. The guy at the desk seemed like he was doing members a favor being there and the experience with the equipment was mediocre at best. It is located in a nice area and there is plenty of parking but the actual gym experience was not very impressive. The indoor temperature was nice and cool for Summer months but there are no ceiling fans or any other air circulation devices except for the air vents. Planet Fitness is a better place and is a better deal.

I give Crunch gym in Huntingdon Valley one star. The sub Zumba instructor Cynthia made a scene and acted very unprofessional. The next day, I politely asked for a refund. The manager Shane was extremely rude and refused to give me my money back. The staff is very rude and unfriendly. Don’t join Crunch!

I have been a very zealous and fervent bodybuilder and weight lifter for all of my life and can candidly say that this Crunch Fitness location is indeed a very nice gym . A friend from another gym that I went to in the past, had suggested that I give it a try and after my free three day trail I was so impressed that I signed up the following week. The gym itself including the bathrooms are kept very clean/sanitary and are well maintained frequently throughout every day .Their exercise and weight training equipment are state of the art and in pristine condition . Crunch Fitness has an extensive range of dumbells that go all the way up to 120lbs which makes it very ideal for bodybuilding purposes and there are all fully intact .In addition they have two water fountains that dispense cold and refreshing water , and they have a very efficient central air system that keeps the gym amply cool in the spring and summer and warm in the colder months such as fall/winter. However it would be nice if they had just a little bit more excercise equipment ,such as a lateral raise machine to excercise the deltoids ,and a decline bench in conjunction with their flat and incline benches to target different areas of the pectoral muscles . I was told that they have a lateral raise machine at their other locations.But I would definitely recommend Crunch Fitness to both my friends and family. Hopefully they will soon open even more locations .

Was overcharged for signup which I pointed out at the time of signup and was brushed off saying it was just the tax (health club memberships are not taxed). Emails to manager for a refund were ignored. Staff over the phone said the GM had to do the refund. Over a month still haven’t received anything.

Has all the equipment. Por billing practiices. I was double billed and if i didnt complain. Crunch inc would not have alerted me or fixed the problem. Check yourcredit card bills for over billing by crunch.
